When one side wins you had that side chose any activity you do grants you the token of that side.
So if the light side wins and I do an activity in Galactic Command, and finish it before the next round is up, I would get a light side token the reverse if dark side wins and I pick dark i get a dark side token. Also what are sight side dark side tokens used for.

I am a returning player to game, after a 2 year hiatus, and I am trying to deiced if I need to change my advance class from jugg to marauder. I have read an old post that advises me to do so , because I prefer a Dps build instead of a tank build., but at the same time I don't want to start completely over. (meaning I don't want to lose what I have accomplish in game.) I don't mind learning how a new advance class works. i just don't want to grind my way to end game content again. If this is possible would someone please chime in and mention how this is done. I would really appreciate it.
Also were could I find a good DPS build for a Sith Warrior. I tried Dulfy but couldn't find one for the Sith Warrior.

Is there anyway other than packs to earn them. Like maybe a mission in game or a flashpoint. I am trying to earn them without having to spend real money or in game money.They are basically meant as a "consolation prize" for people who bought cartel parks and didn't get anything of valued. They were originally meant to be used in connection with the reputation rankings within each shipment. So, if you opened a lot of packs and you were missing Revan's mask, you could buy one if you had enough reputation for that shipment as well as X number of cartel market certs. This recent near shaddaa festival of splendor casino event was the first time I have ever seen them used outside of the reputation vendors, until today. I think they take the place of the so- called rare item within the pool of loot in the packs.I think just about every pack beyond the first couple in shipment one have a chance to drop them.

Fleet Cartel Market Certificate Vendor where are they. I am looking for the personnel agent? Pease Help.The cartel bazaar is at the north elevator in republic fleet, and south elevator in the imperial fleet (since the fleets are mirror images of one another)And no, I don't consider these items useless. They are eye-candy for sure, but some people like that. I thank Bioware for putting some of that stuff that would otherwise not be available anymore into there. (Even if it is a money-grabbing exercise. It would be even bigger money-grabbing to not have the certificates and make opening packs the only way to get said items)

Thank you everyone for your help. I have since fix what i was doing wrong. I just wish the player who inspired the creation of this post had taken the time to explain what I was doing wrong, because of all of the people who have posted in this post, as a result, I have had an easier time doing all the latest new content of this game. I still have a lot of work to do on the latest opps and I can't interrupt the NPC worth a darn, but I am determined to get better. Thanks everyone for their help.I sometimes sleep thru it. Not kidding. Some reflect, some heal to full.And the grenade jumpy end boss doesnt even hurt me more than %7-8 in rep side. In imp side, takes a bit longer but eventually end it on my jugg with no prob at all.
It's so laughably easy both versions of that heroic. ESPECIALLY for a guard / jugg in DPS spec.

Thanks for the advice I know now what I was doing wrong and have implemented the changes in my rotation that I needed. I am a better DPS for it.You certainly can in tank spec even at level 50 (although you and Quinn need decent gear to do so).I've never tried using Vengeance although I would imagine it is possible.
Big thing is to use your cool downs, especially if you do not over gear/level it, I generally use Reflect when i jump in and save Saber Ward and Enraged Defense for if my health drops below 50%. You can use Intimidating Roar to shut down the organics for 6 seconds,
Interrupt Heat Laser whenever possible. Also by attacking the elite humans in melee range you can get them to switch over to their swords which I find helps reduce the damage they do a lot, although that may not be true for a DPS character, you will have to test it. If it does help you hit them each once or twice before focusing on one.
Also try to keep things off Quinn, which is admittedly much harder without an AoE taunt.

I hope someone can help me; I have heard some people are having trouble finishing Descent into the dark Fortress. They have killed the last boss in the dread fortress. What do they do know? I think there should be a final cut seen. Some people have posted that they are not getting the final cut seen, and, they don't know where to turn it in. Could someone please post the steps for this quest and how do they get every reward they are entitled to? I am wondering about this my self. I haven't started this quest yet, and I don't what to waste my time, if there isn't a way to finish this quest. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the reply I will take all of your advice to heart. I always thought it was npc, strong, and then elite. I try to always use my defensive cool downs, sometimes i miss one or two. Thanks again for answering this noobs question.

Last night me and a level 51 character tried to do the heroic that is inside Black Hole with just the two of us and our companions. I only died once, but he kept dieing all the time. Finally he got tried of dieing , so he ask his friend to come join us. We where talking and he said, I was squishy. Just because I couldn't solo that darn heroic all by my self. I am giving him the benefit of a doubt, but I don't see how this is possible. Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong: I know some of my enhancement are not the best, or maybe not the right kind. I have started following the advice on Duffy Net. I am useing the Vengeance spec that I found on Duffy Net. What does he mean by squishy., when I ask him what he meant by that or what I was doing wrong, he never gave me an answer. Please some please help me, I only want to get better,but I can't get better if I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I have never heard of ninjalooting ,what is it. That was the point I was trying to get across. You took the words right out of my mouth.They should redesign how it works. The current system promotes ninjalooting aswell.They could simply let a amount of comms be equal to a mod or enhancement
On topic I would like to see all 55 ops in the groupfinder
Now to get back on topic I would like to see all of the operation both story mode and hard mode in the group finder. It certainly make looking for a group a lot easier. It would be nice if they could get the group finder to really work. I know they couldn't, the great fiasco of 2.8 just proves it. I can dream can't I.

I wouldn't say the gear you get is garbage, most of us are taking the mods out of the gear and putting them into the gear we already have( at lest that is what I am trying to do). What the problem is the mods inside the gear except maybe for a few exception are the wrong type. I am a Sith Warrior the spec I am using is a DPS spec, and I have not been able the find the correct mods for my spec i use but one. I know what you are going to say buy the correct mods from the GNT. Right, when you have to spend between 2.5 to 3 million credits per mod , when you can find the correct mod it can get expensive real quick. I don't know about you but it takes me about two weeks of dailies for me to raise 2.5 million credits. Multiply that by all the mods you need and that is a huge fortune.Hey all-Well, I guess I see it like this, and its just MY opinion, but comms are a dime a dozen and the gear you get from them is garbage, with the exception of a select few pieces. Now I do understand the casuals guys wanna feel like they are geared up with the straight 180 comm set, but I'd like to encourage you guys to take a different view for a second.

The answer to this problem is for Bio Ware to completely do away with trading comms for gear and introduce a system where you trade your comms for the mods you really need. It is so simple. I won't be holding my breath for Bio Ware to actually do it thought. For some strange reason they prefer the system they are using now.

can a Sith Warror who is a jug that is playing a dps role join your team. I can be available to do raid runs on Tuesday or Thursday nights until August 19 when I go back to college. I don't have very much experience doing opps, but before I even try doing an opps I at lest research how to kill the bosses and at least make sure my gear is at the proper level.

Can someone please suggest away to see what your frame rate is in game? I know you can see what your frame rate is in game by using control shift and f key at the same time,but the numbers that appear in the bottom left corner are so small you can hardly read them. Is there some way to make them bigger. Or can someone please suggest a program that will tell me what are my frame rates in game. It would also be nice if there was a way I could save this information to a file so someone could finger out what is wrong when there is something wrong.

How do you max out quinn's armor ? I have replace all the armor that is designed for Quinn with all orange armor. I want to know what stats I should work on , and to what level should i max them out.

Come join ELYSIUM for our World Boss mid-levels event this Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 5 PM server time! We'll be doing up to five world bosses, from Tatooine to Hoth levels, until 7 PM. Join Elysium for the event and work on those speeder quests!
I thought the only speeder quest that you can do anymore awards coms , and you only need to kill 3 bosses; or are-thinking that there will only be three bosses available in the time allotted.

Not sure about setting the difficulty, but I suspect it might have something to do with rightclicking your portrait. At least setting group to ops group has. Maybe as a start it would be better for you to join groups of other people to see how it works.
It might be a bit hard to find a group for SM EV/KP these days, which are operation best for learning. But personally my first operation ever was EV HM with no experience and on lvl 50. So it doesn't really matter if you do SM or HM of these lvl 50 operations. More important is if the group is legit.
What do you mean by if the group is legit?

I see now we can have weekly operations. I have been in a few operations but I have never set one up. Now that I have two end level characters I would now like to do more operations and finally see all the fine story arks that Bioware has created.
The problem is I don't know how to initiate a operation. I think it would work like you would keep inviting people to group until a have the number of people you need for the content you want to do. If I am wrong please tell me how how. I want to learn.
I also have one more question how do you pick from the different modes? What I mean by my last statement is how do i select story mode, hard mode, or nightmare mode.
