  1. The irony is those 100 + light servers were put there because of people complaining about having to queue at launch screaming I will quit if I have to queue so extra servers were put up. Now those same people are here screaming that they will quit if server mergers don't happen now. That is exactly why devs need to ignore the community and plan according to what is needed to operate effectively.

    The irony is that they should have seen this coming a mile away, and had a system ( i.e transfers) in place before even launching a game like this. Money talks I guess :(

  2. How come whenever an MMO is released the level cap is a measly 60 or less? I think if an MMo was released with a level cap of something like 200 or 150 that not many people could complain about reaching the level cap and being bored.

    You should check out Anarchy Online then, level cap is 220 or something wierd like that.

  3. 1) Not enough people on the server(s), hence noone to play with/against

    2) PVP is a mess; (commando is broken, operative shoehorned into a healer etc.), stuns are abit over the top (it's really not fun to lose control of your character and the only way to get out of it is on a 2 minute cooldown..) etc.

    3) No cross server warzones / LFD (leads to issue 1)

    4) Starting alts to see the story gets tiresome when I have to slog through the same side quests again and again and again ad nauseum. I only want to see the main class quest.

    5) Travel times (better, but still pretty crap)

    6) Performance issues; slow loadtimes, wierd things with sound / graphics, and complete system freezes.

    This is what I just put in my "reasons for cancellation" message. Entirely subjective on my part, but still a dealbreaker for me.

    Adieu!

  4. There is one in game as we speak

    You can't get a group, why?

    If you re-read the OP, I think you would find that he used said "tool" (calling it a tool is stretching it to be honest):rolleyes:

  5. An active subscription is any user with game time tied to his or her account regardless of if they has cancelled the recurring fee or not. The problem with this report is that shortly before the end of April they gave a large portion of the player base 1 additional month. This throws the numbers completely off balance and makes it impossible to use active subscriptions as a gauge of active players.

    This needs to be put in bold for everyone who thinks "25% isn't that bad of a loss"

  6. I haven't added any, but then again, i rarely do that anyhow. i sure do know a lot of them when we get in together though.

    The ones that give up? I keep them in mind when they are looking for a healer in general chat, just like the ones that afk..

    cross server queus, i cant do that anymore.... I like my community as is, thanks.

    I can't for the life of me see how this is bad, if you want to play a warzone / flashpoint with friends you go ahead and ask them. Done deal. You rarely add new folks to your friends list, so what on God's green earth is community destroying about letting people like me with less time on their hands get value for the few hours we have available?

    It's in no way, shape or form detrimental to your community, but it makes the game playable for people like me.

    I could add "are my $15 worth less than yours", but that would bombastic and silly :o

    Edit:

    I see replies "No cross server" etc.

    What I want to know is why?

    What good arguments do you have to support that it "destroys community"?

    Just stating that it "destroys community" is not a good (or infact a valid) argument.

  7. Either have to implement cross-server queues or put 11-50 back in, because people are unable to play Warzones right now. Some people play to PvP, and its not allowing them to because there aren't enough players.

    This is the fact of the matter as it stands now. On a personal level, I'd much prefer cross server warzones instead of lumping everyone together.

    To all of you talking about server communities, how many have you added to your friends list that you've met in a random group?

    How do you think it fosters community when people just plain give up and log off?

  8.

    <snip>

    Any LFG tool that matches people from different servers is a bad choice for the future of server communities.

    <snip>

    You know what else is really bad for server communities?

    Spending 2-3 hours trying to find a group for a flashpoint, and then giving up and logging out.

    We really *do* need some way to get a group together ALOT quicker, or else there will not be any community to foster..
