takes a bit of effort and you'll never be AT level but it can be done. especially once you get done with your capital planet and can send out your ship droid. You might be surprised what you can accomplish if you are willing to put in the effort. Its imperative that you keep companions out as often as possible and gather what you can while you level.
this times one million. Keep your companions out perma and you can get the skills high pretty fast.

Make two different versions of the planets, one day and one night and allow the player to pick which one he wants to play in. Question is, would you guys be willing to ignore the fact that all the cut scenes for tatooine are daytime based, yet you are playing at night? I personally would be.

That's a decent argument, but there's some speculation involved here.
Why would Yoda only go 60% of his power against Sidious? That just doesn't make since. Yoda would have given it all in that fight.
When you spend however many hundred years of something, just instinctually holding back, you just cant deprogram yourself to just flip a switch and change it. I guarantee you, if yoda could fully tap into his force knowledge, and beat sidious, but that meant him delving a teeeeensy bit into quasi=darkside, he would have never done it.

We are never going to know how strong Yoda actually was. He was probably THE posterchild for the light side of the force. I guarantee you there were things he knew and could do, that would blow everyone's mind, however he refused to do it, due to the fact that he was soooooo light side. Even in the movies, Duku and Palpatine himself, were only a match for yoda, they never beat him. The duel with Palpatine, imho yoda just gave up. If yoda completely cuts loose and goes 100 percent (which I don't think we have ever seen, i think at the most we have seen 60 percent of what yoda could really do) yoda would wipe the floor with any other force user out there.

Actually i think this comes down to whos power base is stronger and more resilient. Kun or Mandalores. Its one of the most very basic and universal military strategy, your army can be as strong as anything, but it the people behind it that are the key. Could one side destroy the other sides power base. in a war like this, thats what i believe it would come down to. Sith rule by fear and intimidation. Mandalorians on the other hand, actually believe in what they do. i think that Mandalores power base would hold up much better then Kuns.

Agreed. If the faithful just hang in there, imho this game will blow up. It has more potential then any 5 mmos out there. if they can just get their act straight and tap into it........

again, if they just took the rails off, gave us even a tenth of the ship currently in the Star wars Expanded universe, allowed 100-150 ships per side per space zone......boom. that right there alone would blow tor up so hard....

The graphics in this game seem a little too cartoonish/lacking in fine detail to give space combat the depth and immersion people may expect. There's also a few issues with moving about; so far I've only played Eve (point, click movement) and this (on rails). Both types of gameplay get stale after a while, no matter how pretty it looks, but a more realistic combat system is reportedly very tricky to achieve. Be interesting to see the aerial mechanics of World of Warplanes and whether it adds a new dimension.
Why stop at space though? You could have planetary fights.
It's not a bad idea to develop this niche further, although not sure the fate of the game depends exclusively on it the way you suggest. You could just as easily argue the game needs more sandbox elements, customisation, or end game content to sustain high levels of subs.
take off the rails....add even a tenth of all the ships in the expanded star wars universe. allow two to three hundred ships of all types per zone.......*drool*

Dont forget Battlestar Galactica Online. I think they hit 10million accounts not too long ago, though quote me if im wrong.
if that game can hit 10 mill subs....just think what bioware could do if they do it right.....

......wait for it..........Space. This is Biowares one and only shot at really hitting a home run. Only two other MMOs have really even tried space. Eve and Star Trek Online. If Bioware can pull Space off right, this game will explode so hard.....will make that other game look like a merry-go-round at the park. Id say 20 million subs would not be out of the question...(it would take a perfect space launch on a scale we have never seen...but possible). Discuss? Do you agree or disagree with me? What would you like to see in the Space launch....(while the missions are fun....thats not really space. thats space commendation grinding material).
P.S. However space is all or nothing. if Bioware fails space. this will stay a million to 750 sub mmo. only populated by us star wars nuts....

Are there any decent affordable gaming keyboards? I am not going to drop $89 on a gaming keyboard just because it has a section for games and tons of new buttons.
in that case just get yourself a razor naga gaming mouse, and just spend 10-`5 bucks on a solid keyboard. A naga will pretty much to most of everything you need, unless you just really like tons and tons of macros....

so grand master zhim transfering to swiftsure. there will be no other destination choice besides swiftsure then?

Can an origin server be assigned to more then one destination server. or Once the destination server is chose, thats it, you have no other transfer origin servers available
IE my first server grand master zhim was chosen for switfsure. can another destination server such as....oh my main server now the harbinger be chosen, or am i either transfering to switfsure or paying for a transfer at a later date

i just checked the vip vendor on fleet and he still only has that 2.5 mill speeder? whats this elusive vendor, and what does he sell?

if i understand your question there are two different shops. one is the VIP shop which you buy the band for access from, which atm only has a speeder in it. then there is the Collectors edition shop, which, even if you have the band you will only get access to if you bought the Collectors edition. So if you have NOT bought the collectors edition, i would waste your money, as the vip store is still empty/

As a general rule orange quest rewards cannot be RE'ed. The developers said this is to prevent accidentally destroying of items.

couple of questions. I got this great robe for my jedi from the balmora bonus series. Love the look. Ive been told that i can RE that, to get the recipe to make more, to get an augmented version.
1. is this true
2. is the chance only 20 percent or is it higher?
3. if i fail the RE is it possible to get this robe again, without rerolling my character and doing balmora all over again?

Oh lord... Immaculate conception.... Worst. Star Wars. Plot. Device. Ever. Basically saying that Anakin is another Jesus. I'm not religious, but I've always had a problem with that story of Shmi's. Personally, I think she said that so they wouldn't think she was a ****. Also, I said I BELIEVE the kid's dad was that guy, not that it was CANON FACT. I just went off deductive reasoning as to who the daddy could be.
how much you wanna bet palpatine was his dad. he hinted as much in the scene where he was talking about stoping even death itself. whether he boinked shmi himself and force wiped her mind, or used the force to conceive. ill bet you anything palpatine was the father.
