  1. I got the g700 and it is wireless but you can keep it attached by a wire. It has a bad battery life otherwise if you keep it unplugged. Also if you get the g700, logitech software doesn't recognize swtor so you have to bind the keys a little differently. You have to assign all the extra keys to a keyboard stroke (I used F5-11 since they go along with the number on the buttons). Then in swtor you bind whatever ability bar spot you want to the corresponding F# key.
  2. this thread is a bunch of crap, you only get 7 champion commendations from each bag so it takes about 7-18 bags just to get 1 piece of champion gear. Before the patch i opened 8 bags and got 2 pieces, now i've opened 6 more and dont have enough for anything yet. It is not any easier than it was before, the biggest plus is that you can actually pick what you need and not have to throw salt over your right shoulder, find a four leaf clover, and cross your fingers just to get what you need.
  3. I find its best use is for people on the verge of death in pvp, hit them with BI pop a trauma probe on them then amp->mp. With just amp->mp sometimes they die before you can get the heal off, so yea it can mean the difference between life and death sometimes.
  4. the heal has to actually heal for more than 2.5k. For example if you have 11k/12k hp and your heal says 3100, you only actually healed for 1000 of the 3100 thus not giving the 2.5k medal
  5. it takes about 120 hours of play time to reach 50, if you really hustled through everything maybe 100 hours. Counting pre-release time you have about 45 days since you started playing so 120/45= 2.666667 or 2hr40min a day, every day. Throw in a couple days where you play longer than that and its very feasable for a casual gamer to reach 50 by now.
  6. if it chained one of two things would happen:

    1. healing lets say up to 3 people for free would make it op so they wouldn't do it or

    2. When it chains to a 2nd and 3rd person it has diminishing returns and since it heals for only a little bit the others it chained to would receive meaningless amounts of heal.

I like the idea but I don't see a way it would happen.

  7. Like the title says I'm a little confused about alacrity. The info i've found on it describes it as haste but I'm wondering what it actually speeds up. Does it decrease casting time or does it decrease the cooldown time? or possibly both? I know most people are probably still too low of a level to get a significant amount of alacrity to test it, but any info would be nice.
