    [Music] Constant music option / loop please

    Please, I would love to have a checkbox (like WOW and most MMO's) to loop music constantly in the background...when I arrive on Coruscant, the music stops after a short while. Then all I can hear are lame "city" ambiance sounds, with the same speeders FX etc. that's getting on my nerves after questing for hours on the planet - very bad for immersion :(

    OP is right, there are signs they don't give a "F" anymore, especially when you see that Cathars got 7 haicurts (vs. more than 30 for humans), with some being slight variations from others. Impossible to look like the Cathar NPC's we loved.

     

    It's clear to me they (almost) gave up with this game, I see no signs that they believe in it anymore, but of course they still need money from it (this I can understand, no problem ;)).

    Me too…And since so many websites used this NPC image to illustrate the upcoming Cathar playable race, I was disappointed it was not available :/

     

     

    Thats why don't made a Cathar. I don't like any of the hair cuts. (Why are hair cuts missing that i can see in the game, on Cathar NPCs?) And all the other options are also very poor.

     

    It took very long... and now they came with so few customization options?

     

     

     

    This is exactly the one I want.

    Only 7 haircuts (not counting " bald " as one) and even then, some haircuts are the same, with just a small variation. Most of them don't make your Cathar character look "killer" or stand out.

     

    Where are the 30+ human haircuts gone??? Is the Cathar 3D model so different?

     

    Why only 7 haircuts? I'm a subscriber and I was there at launch, honestly - after buying the race with cartel points - I feel screwed (kinda)

    I always defended this game on YouTube,blogs,forums etc. but this time I can't do it…sorry but I wish the devs read this and do/prepare something for the next update. I feel like I've wasted those cartel points and I'm seriously considering stopping my sub - looks like there's no point investing in this game anymore, honestly….the 'free' version is too limited IMHO, and the sub doesn't seem like it treats you well for your money. What do ya think? Is it me or they went lazy on us? Only 7 haircuts??? With some of them being minor variations from each-other?

     

    PS: Also, the brand "New Fur Technology" they advertised in promo videos, I couldn't see anything, only regular textures…(As seen on my NVIDIA GTX 570, maxed-out)

    Chat Bubbles: We need an option to enable them for say, yell and emote chat!

    Because everything is going so fast I cannot see when people around me are talking to me, plus I'd like to see my teammates right around me speak in bubbles, and not be obliged to open & check the chat window all the time...

     

    In fact, I can't believe chat bubbles are still not implemented in 2012. I am feeling really let down by EA, in fact I don't even know if I will re-sub without any of the improvements we asked for...

    So if I choose a surname for my main human character, my Twi'lek reroll will be his brother? Do anybody have more detail(s) about the legacy system? Are your rerolls forced to remain in the same family tree once you've chosen a surname? Nothing against inter-racial families tho' ^^

    Hi to all,

     

    I cannot get the 'search' function to work right now so I'm asking here...

     

    Do you guys (and dolls ^^) know of a good website/ page/ article/ forum about the classes of Star Wars: The Old Republic?

     

    I couldn't try all classes during the beta, and didn't go very far in the game. I would love to know how each class really feels after some time. Maybe some get boring, maybe some are surprisingly fun... I know there is already something on the official website, but I would prefer player feedback. Did you read a good article somewhere, with accurate reviews for each class?

     

    My early access didn't start yet but I would love to use this time to think about which class I'm gonna play.

     

    Thanks for any idea(s) where I should look!

    How strict is the Naming Policy?

    No. You can use a single-word name, but after chapter 1 you can choose a legacy last name that is applied to all of your characters on that server.

     

    If you try to choose "Solo" as your legacy name, then it will likely be rejected.

     

    If you want to make two characters on your server, Fred and Bob, then you could do that. However, you can only choose a single surname. That means it will have to be Fred Surname and Bob Surname or Fred Surname and Bob <surname hidden> (or vice versa).

     

    For example, if I want to be EJedi Pwnsurface, then all of my other characters would have to be TheirName Pwnsurface or have no surname displayed.

    This has to be the worse way to launch a MMO, or any game, launch ever. It is almost worse than long queues to enter the game!

     

    Bioware is so ... overly cautious that it has denied its service to the people who want to play... only a select few get in each wave. While the rest of us... have to look and wonder why we are not the chosen ones.

     

    Why am I being punished for purchasing a Collector's Edition at Gamestop and did not get a pre-order code until Dec 7th? I have copies and pictures of me with the receipt and pictures of the receipt that shows the purchase was made in July!

     

    So why am I being denied access?

     

    Because I did not rush to the EA website and purchase it on an official EA website!

     

    I repent. I repent. Please, let me in. I am willing to use the Origin website on all future EA purchases! I bought it in September and yet I am not in... and there are people who bought lesser copies of the game... and who bought it AFTER me... who are leveling...

     

    worse yet, when I hit the PvP zones... people will be max level... picking on me... because I am not playing yet. THANKS EA
