    Returning APAC player looking for Pub guild

    Hey guys,

     

    After having to stop playing earlier this year because of university, I'm back because I've completed my degree. Now, I was part of a guild back when the APAC servers existed. I have experience in end game content and a lot of experience in warzones.

    I have a whole lot of toons but my main two are a Sentinel and Sage (healer), both level 50.

     

    I'm just looking for a relaxed, friendly guild thats more orientated in warzones than anything else.

    Before the lights were properly set up. Looks much better now! :) Will update the screenshot next day off! :o

     

    Mate, I see you've for the Razer SWTOR edition keyboard. Now, I purchased this a month ago now and I'm having problems with my keystrokes! Sometimes when typing a tad fast, it doesn't recognise every 2nd/3rd keystroke or spacebar hit - have you or are you having any similar problems?

    Mjrat, I don't think there has ever been a match where I'm up against you and you haven't got me in your sight for an easy kill.

     

    As a healer, do you think I care when I PUG and am faced against an SnX premade? I suck up my deaths, accept my pug team is crap due to the lack of skill and communication and continue to play. Not every match is about winning!

     

    Just this afternoon I had a pug team of Columi geared teammates and you were the reason to all my deaths. You've just got to face the music.

    Sage needs buff in dps, commando needs buff in heal tree. Its clear like sky.

     

    That, I can agree with!

     

    I mean, if I had some sort of buff in dps, I could easily manage 700k DMG like in that screen shot. If people actually read what the skills do in our skill tree, they'd see that we do have potential to do awesome dps, and as you said, my screenshots prove that it can be done but it could be even better with a dps buff!

    Are you sure you're playing the class correctly?!?!

     

    I've been level 50 on my sage now for a few weeks (rolled it as a new toon because I got bored of sentinel) and I initially thought I was going to be a healer but for some reason, DPS just seems more fun to play.

     

    I'm rocking a custom 2/21/18 tree, have approx 1700 Willpower and Endurance (unbuffed), I'm wearing full NON-BiS WH with half Fortitude Augments and half Resolve Augments, I've got around 29.3% Crit Chance and a 79% crit multiplier (unbuffed) and I've managed to get my Power stat to a reasonable 890.

     

    On the server I play on there are quite a few awesome marauders, juggs etc and I can manage to survive and burn them down with no trouble at all, even if I'm being piled by quite a few of them.

    I average 300k+ dps per WZ (which is alright considering I don't have a pocket guard/healer) and can still manage to play WZ's objectively and earn a fair amount of medals.

    All I say is, you just have to manage your rotation well and know how to play your class during different situations. I'm not saying that I really know how to play this class 100% but hey, I'm getting a fair idea of what to do.

    The DPS and survivability on a sage is awesome if you kinda know what you're doing.

    It'll be running on Windows 7 64bit Ultimate

     

    thoughts on how you reckon it should run?

    why do the top guilds farm normal warzones instead of doing ranked ??????????

    I like going up against the "top" guilds in PuGs, really test there ability and team work. We get rewarded even when we lose so it makes no difference to me. I say bring on more of the top players into the PuGs so i can test "my" skill against the servers best.

     

    Agreed - being put into a random group and facing a team of either NS PuGs or SnX PuGs is a real test of teamwork. There's no voicechat and you all have to rely on one another in order to win.

     

    And I believe just this afternoon, Mjrat, we, a group of random solo queuer's, beat you guys in an Ancient Hypergate right at the last minute by like 20 odd points (if that). Those are the matches that people tend to enjoy.

    Initially I started off with a sentinel, which then, I quite liked but eh, it takes too much concentration/practice to play it well so I've kinda ditched that toon.

     

    I then rolled a sage to see if I liked healing/could learn how to be a good healer but that got boring during quests so a custom 2/21/18 build was sort, and only being in full BM gear, the dps is hell fun and easy to deal, has somewhat more survivability and force pushing teams into fire pits is just an overall good laugh. Only thing I miss is being able to jump to an opponent but other than that, I've just clicked with this class.

    It is called capitalism mate, undercutting is a part of life, the idea is that you want people to buy from you not someone else... Although undercutting by 60% is a lot if that happened :rolleyes:

     

    I'm aware of these business tactics; studied business, eco and commerce during highschool. And with all seriousness, people are doing a 60% cut and it is really outrageous. I can understand lowering your price by 50-100k but when you're cutting prices by >50% what's the point in even trying to sell an item to make some sort of profit?

    I know this is a slight tangent, but why are people undercutting prices on Cartel Market items (Repub side)?! It's outrageous!

     

    If you can make 1.5m from a crystal or a saber, then why doesn't everyone just put it on the GTN for 1.5m and leave it to the luck of the draw if yours gets purchased? I'm sick of seeing people putting items up for 1m then 20mins later, someone else will put the same item for 400k - it's bloody stupid!
