  1. I like now being able to set the Global UI to its largest size, however when I open my map, I would like that to size so that I can close it and see the guide etc. Currently with my UI I cannot even close the map. it is so overscaled. How do you adjust the open map, while keeping the rest of the UI large and readable?

It's been over six years, and the map is still not resizeable. In the worlds of Alice Cooper as Pontius Pilate, "Wow."

  2. Does anyone know what criteria, if any, dictates the order that chat tabs sort themselves into? I can re-sort them manually, but they do not stay that way -- they revert to their secret preferred order the next time I log in or reload the UI. And that order, whatever it is, appears to be consistent. But I can't figure out what dictates that order. They are not sorted by which tab was created first. They are not sorted alphabetically. The only consistent thing seem to be that they aren't sorted in the way I want them!

If you know how the default sort order for chat tabs is determined, please tell me.

  3. I should keep better notes. I recall a mission on my Sith Warrior where she (the Sith) worked with a Jedi (male) to do... something. Lots of big underground caves (I think... or perhaps a factory?), where the Jedi would go off and do things while my Sith went elsewhere and did things, to get past huge locked doors... that kind of thing.

And the Jedi would chuckle and think it's funny that he's working with a Sith.

But I can't even remember the planet that was on, much less the name of the Jedi. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

  4. Were yesterday and day before supposed to be normal? I'm sure I can get a cert with 50 Smuggler chips.

Different slot machine. The Contraband Cartel slot machines give out 1 Cartel Certificate per 2000 spins (give or take), on average. Which means yes, you might get 1 in 4000, or two in 2000. It averages out over the long term.

    And they are working fine.

  5. The <Second Sith Empire> (Imperial) and <Alchemical Psychonauts> (Republic) welcome new players and old. Both guilds are are friendly and RP-friendly (but not required -- many members don't roleplay at all).

Both guilds have a Discord server, lovely guild flagships and strongholds, and frequent social activities. We are friendly to men, women, and in between. Our rule #1 is to be nice to each other.

Let me know if you would like an invitation, or just a chat to get to know us.

  6. <Lovely Night Owls> is for sale. It is a Republic guild on the Star Forge server.

The guild has a fully unlocked and decorated stronghold on Nar Shaddaa, with all of the usual utilities (cargo hold, legacy hold, guild bank. etc.).

The guild does NOT have a flagship. Sorry.

I'd like 10 million, but if you want to make a counteroffer, I'll consider it. It just seems a waste to delete the guild and have it all go to waste. If you'd like a tour of the stronghold, let me know and we can arrange a meeting.

  7. Hopefully at a much higher rate than before, since they were extremely over-nerfed along with everything else from the slot machine. In my last attempts, I only got ONE CERTIFICATE in OVER 5000 ROLLS. At that rate, they might as well not even be part of the pool of possible drops.

PLUS, I know one of you people said several months ago you were going to address the lack of availability of cartel certs WHICH HAS NEVER HAPPENED (like many other things you say you'll do).

As long as it goes back to working like it did a month ago, I will be satisfied.

  8. Here is a response from customer service:

"On review of your message to us I understand that you would like to know why you are not getting Cartel Market Certificates and are getting Golden Certificates instead. The Cartel Market Certificates are bring phased out, they are still available but in very old packs, very rare. That is why you are getting more Golden certs instead."

So I think (hope) that the cartel certificate vendors will eventually be patched to accept "golden certificates". Some day.

  9. I am pretty sure most people using cartel certificates were collecting them from packs, not running the slots seeing how dismal the drop rate was with the slots.

It takes a long time, but the drop rate is pretty reliable. You just need to be patient and keep clicking. It takes about 2000 spins to get a cartel certificate (or golden certificate, now).

  10. Just FYI, yesterday's patch did not fix it. The Cartel Contraband Slot Machine gives Golden Certificates, not Cartel Certificates, which means there is now no way to get Cartel Certificates, which means there is no way to buy things from the cartel certificate vendor. No jawa scrap peddlers. No twilek dancers.

    I find this rather disappointing.

  11. They said in the past that they were working on a way to do away with Cartel Market Certificates so people can actually make use of those vendors again.

You get the certificates from the cartel contraband slot machines. They aren't hard to find. Where do you think all those twilek dancers come from?

Except now, unless they fixed it today, there no way to get them anymore, which means no more jawa scrap peddlers, twilek dancers, bartenders, or waitresses.

  12. Well, it looks like yesterday may have been the patch for that "fix". I just spent 8,000 coins on 8,000 spins... not a single cartel certificate. Zero. The last time I spent a morning playing the slot machines, I got pretty close to 1 certificate per 2,000 spins.

I was mistaken. 1500 coins later, and 4 certificates have dropped.

So... it's weird, but it's not any worse than it already was.
