Eh, no reason to stop using it. You could always get lucky.
I think once BW sees that the tool isn't meeting their objective of getting more people into more flashpoints more often, they'll take the logical next step all on their own.
Are you a paid biodrone? WHY the fack would people want to wait for bioware to see that it is not working to fix it, when the people already know a same server will not work? Do u know how stupid that sounds?

Ok? Where is the RPG? ya, that's what I thought. There is nothing this game needs to do to catch up. It's not WoW
You try to hard, swtor is supposed to be a mmo, but i guess you defend it so much because all you want out of it is a rpg, i have real rpgs for that, this game fails as a mmo,.

Looking trough the posts, it is no wonder the game is failing, the community here seems very close minded.

Wow is losing a massive amount of subs and it has LFG, Addons etc. To think BW will keep subs by adding those features is "silly".
The people that left were bored wow fanboys and they are no real loss anyways.
Wow is at the end of the cataclysm expansion, I am not playing wow because i have done everything the expansion offers, but i will be back when mists of pandora releases, I will never come back to swtor period. Using wow as a example right now is pointless.

if you follow the sever select lists at all during server prime times one thing becomes increasingly clear:
Most of the servers that have dropped into sub-LIGHT are PvP servers. Which is not all that surprising, given the fact that PvPers are some of the most vocal and impatient MMO players on the planet. No game pleases them. The LIGHT PvE servers are pretty much the ones that were always LIGHT since launch, give or take a few.
In addition, PvPers are the ones that will most readily server hop with rerolls.
Now, if one wants to beat the drum about too many servers at launch (which I do not agree with) it would be proper to beat the drum a little more precisely..... too many PvP servers at launch. Of course the PvPers were among the most vocal teeth gnashers about queues too back around launch.

I like how he calls 1.2 just fluff when the giant does not release content like raids or battlegrounds in a free patch.
WoW does not release major content in thier patch.. they release them with thier expansion which the players have to buy.
Where have you been? Wow does release major instances in there patches

He meant iteam level, where you get a number of level on your gear on your character like in World of Warcraft.
The itemlevel is good but people do abuse it, that people demand too high gear level to join the group for any flashpoint run (like people demand people with 300 itemlevel for a flashpoint that drops gear with 250itemlevel so its impossible to get into group if you are newly dinged player even if you are a good and skilled player.
Some content requires a certain item level or quality of gear to run, there is nothing wrong with not wanting to dragg dead weight through a flashpoint or operation, this game seems to be full of bad players that are scared of recount and wish to be carried because they dont know how to play there class.

Good news? When does it stop, people were saying 1.2 was going to save the game, now everyone is on to 1.3 already.......Huh I see a trend. mean while TERA is coming out next week with GW2 not far being, then we have mists of Pandora, # finial nails in the coffin

Are you trying to say that if not for gold farmers wow would be empty? Yet it has many high pop servers and the standard/medium servers actually feel populated. People that live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones, lol at this community bashing wow, the current king of mmos STILL, while there game is failing

I am talking about WoW. It's terrible compared to what it used to be. 10 million people - 8 million of them Asian farmers.
Moreover, Diablo 3 is going to be a fiasco. Just wait and see. I'm shocked they are releasing it based on my beta experiences. Then again, they basically gave it away for free. nice way to handle your franchise. 600k pre-sales to date. Well done Blizzard, Bioware and EA are working diligently to fail just as hard, unfortunately.

Lol, I'm sure listening to you gets annoying from them too. I have characters spread out over like ten different servers all which have 100+ people on the fleet at any given time. Stop giving people the false illusion that this game is dying because you don't play at the right times.
sure, keep telling yourself that, I played on 3 different servers, they all went from full very heavy to standard to light, all my guilds disappeared , but oh no games not dying its doing fine..............sure

Because of the less than 5% of the subscribers who post in the forums, 90% of them are here to complain about something. The other 10% are waiting in the queue to get on their server.
sO the other 10% all play on the fatman server, because its the only populated server left, I swear peole on these forums are as blind as it gets, its like pissing in the wind for any one with a brain here.

The UI editor is not good? What? Its more dated then Wow? The UI editor is so simple a chimp could use it, and it is fully customizable beyond anything seen in an MMO before.
Honestly, this argument is absolute nonsense. I'm thinking that you re subbed so you could continue to spam the boards with this stuff.
What else needs to be said, everyone here has the game, if you dont agree and enjoy it, more power to you, nothing will change your mind anyways at this point. I think the game looks horrid and i didnt care for the new ui that much, it is what it is. At this point if you are still here playing SWTOR nothing will change your mind if the game being like it is already hasnt

just resubbed to see what 1.2 had to offer, unsubbed in 20 min. The graphics some how managed to look worse, the ui editior is not very good, when i hit the map, it is to large for my screen now and the top and side edges are off of my screen, as far as i could tell no way to resize the map when u press m, not the mini map. Overall game looks and feels dated been playing wow for the last month or so, and yes it looks better alot better. Game is bad

I went back to wow, for obvious reasons , was running a level 64 dungeon, as a tank I was doing 1200k, most dps doing 800 to 1k, 1 dps was doing 329 dps.............The only people that are against dps meters are people like this, he was doing 3/4 less then anyone else, and when i called him out he said you are a ******e I am doing the best i can, well that is just sad it is easy to look up specs and rotations.
I am convinced that TOR is full of people like this from wow. I have no other explanation for the way the community acts here other then this.

This is by far the worst community I have ever seen, at least the forum posters. Most people in game have been cool for the most part, but the posters here make me see that not only is a inexperienced mmo maker holding the game back but so is the community. I cant stand anoy one here who hates on, dual spec, combat logs, LFG Qs. LMFAO THAT THE GAME IS GAINING SUBS, NOPE NOT ON ANT SERVERS I PLAY ON, ONLY HEAVY SERVERS FILLING MORE DUE TO REROLLS, enjoy the slow death, you people deserve it, just uninstalled the game for good, and no I dont hate BW loving the hell out of ME3 right now

Threats of mass exodus are not the ones I made. But if you think they aren't twisting numbers in their favour, you are a bit delluded. Numbers of players active during prime time and throughout on the server I play on have dwindled. My guild had as many as 20-30 players active throughout the day and now we're lucky to get above 2 active, even during prime time. A majority of those players in my guild have cancelled their subs and do not play anymore.
Some of those cancelled subscriptions may have some active play time left but that does not change the end result. These are subscriptions lost and it has already taken it's toll, otherwise our server or our guild would not be in the desolate state it is in.
So you can wear your rose-coloured glasses and prance around in the fields of beautiful flowers, fluffy bunnies and kittens. It's your opinon or delusion but the real numbers, not marketing jargon, will be evident in due time.
That said, mine is one of those subscriptions that have been cancelled.
This is exactly true, LOTS of people have left the game. Any one that has been playing for a while surly has seen guilds and fleet/plant numbers sink. I moved to canderous recently just because it is the only very heavy server left, Almost everyone I talk to be in my new guild, randon grps, or general chat is a reroll from another server.
People that think this game is still ganing subs have some serious problems, or work for bioware. Patch 1.2 looks great but it will be to late i fear

That looked really good, yea it should have been in at release, but we all know EA pushed this out for Christmas. I am going to get over that and enjoy the update, looks like it is on its way to being a solid mmo, appearance customization, YES PLEASE!

Yes bioware ignore your empty servers as well, ignore the players leaving at a alarming rate.........everything is fine

No cross server warzones
No cross server dungeon tool
No dual spec
No ac switching
Everyone i know quit for the very same reasons, some adding "no add-ons" and "terrible performance for the kind of game it is" in the mix but yeah, that's pretty much it. We were saying those things were needed from the early stages of beta, but nope, people wanting this game to fail were crazed about community and other utterly useless bs and fueled bw's ridiculous stance about not having such MANDATORY features since launch.
Well, the game is now failing, bravo.
pretty much this^^^^^^ the stubbornness of the community is going to be part of the reason this game fails. By the time bioware adds all the standard features in a panic to stop the sinking ship it will be to late

I play on Dark sion, and mind trick both get in to the HEAVY category every now and then, questing on planets stills feels dead, 3 different guilds I was in on dark sion have died or are slowly dieing. Bottom line is people are leaving at a alarming rate, the server cap is WAY TO LOW, this is supposed to be a mmo, yet feels like a SP game most of the time, I dont think mergers will even help this game, at this point I feel like it is a heavy rock sinking to the bottom of the ocean

I think the damage is done, there is just no coming back from this, i dont hate SWTOR it is fun at times, but like others have said it is just a game to tide me over. Nothing grabs me here it lacks the login factor. I just dont care, getting to 50 does not matter othing to do, no mounts or really anything to unlock, really nothing. Story lol It is ok at best, like a c video game at best. I like my guild, the combat is ok, but everything else just sucks cant put my finger on it bit it lacks something. AS soon as another mmo launches I am out

One time on WoW I did this just for kicks.
I stripped my paladin completely naked, except for his hammer and pulled a monster my own level.
I then went to the toilet while my naked paladin auto attacked the monster.
I came back after flushing and the monster was dead.
That in a nutshell explains why WoW's questing was so boring.
