Different companions are good for different playstyles. If you're not playing your toon to its potential, using interrupts at appropriate times, with a good dps rotation, it won't matter which companion you use. Many people do fine. You're arguing a bad system because you don't care to try harder and learn.

 

Im with this guy. If you fell that the healers are 'needed' then perhaps you need to get better at kiting or aggro management. Yes i know aggro management is harder wihtout threat meters but its not impossible. I just finished chapter 1 with my marauder using vette exclusively. Secret was trading aggro with her at the right times.

Server merges are harder then A LFG tool read all the dev posts about legacy system an how it will and is effecting the Server transfer an merge issuses

 

So legacy should be account wide, not per server. problem solved.

There are crafted purple techstaffs available at level 50. I see them going on the GTM for about average of 50k credits. I bought one for Torian on my Powertech, worth the price imo.

I agree, you can never make them happy. Whiners are lame. This game is the smoothest launch in MMO history.

 

Ever heard that the squeaky wheel gets the grease? The Whiners are the only thing that pressures the devs to do a better job. Sure the game launched smoothly... in a sense that the servers were stable. But I dont see how anyone can ignore the fact that the game is bug ridden and still requires a considerable amount of polishing.

Um...I've almost finished the Balmorra quest chain (again) and I've just dinged 23. I have not died on this planet. My companion has died exactly once. How is it that you, a full 15 levels higher, are having difficulties?

 

Balmorra has the same level range for Republic as Taris does for Empire.

What kind of ironic world do we live in? Well, mine is seeming awfully ironic right now. I leave WoW, which I played for 7 years, for TOR. Having a blast with TOR, then it gets sour and I force myself to play because hey, it might get better.

 

Then guess who comes along with an offer? Yeah, Blizzard. It's D3, and guess what, BLIZZARD HAS ME AGAIN!

D3 Beta man. I am very patient ^^ So much so that I have the willpower to not resub this month and wait for these updates to see if the game is worth playing

 

I hear that. I got into d3 beta last week and I havnt touched TOR since. Ill give it another shot in march when next patch comes out. I really do want this game to do well so I hope they can fix it. Thats why I continue to stay subbed while not playing.

What I can't figure out is why people fall over themselves defending the incompetence of Bioware. Something as simple as getting credit for a warzone win that hasn't worked since day 1 and folks just think that's great. You guys need to raise your bar a little bit.
