  1. A better solution to this would be to offer constructive pointers to fresh 50s in your warzone. Instead of being an elitist feminine hygiene product, why don't you actually try helping people once in a while?
  2. There are degrees. Prior to 1.2, some classes were better than others, some builds were better than others, but by much smaller degrees. The current changes are "just awful" to quote someone else. I happen to agree with them

     

    Again, the question isn't "If?", it's "By how much?" Currently the answer is "a ****l0ad".

     

    Oh, absolutely. I suppose it would depend on who you talked to and when regarding class balance, but "true" balance? It'll never happen.

    You'll never come back. PvP is never truly balanced, in any class based MMO. There's always going to be an alpha class.

  4. I think the issue resides in what Bioware considers your "next" enemy. "Next" shouldn't be the same as "next random."

     

    1. Who is your "next" enemy when you're targeting your "first" enemy. It shouldn't be some guy way out of your field of view.

     

    2. Who is your "next" enemy anyhow? You would think it should ideally be somebody nearby. It often isn't.

     

    There was an enormous thread on this not too long ago.

     

    It was a poorly implemented feature.

     

    It still is a poorly implemented feature.

     

    It will likely always be a poorly implemented feature.

     

    Sometimes it works "ok" yet other times it makes you wonder who the heck wrote the code for this game.

     

    Pretty much this. "Next enemy" is too arbitrary to be considered the default targeting system.

    Seriously, Grav round/Tracer missle is the reason I rolled a vigilance guardian. Nothing gives me more pleasure than force leaping up to a merc and having him insta hit his knockback only to see it do nothing to me.

    Neither of which work on someone with a full resolve bar.

  7. I bet it's probably kind of hard to make unique looking robes.

     

    I'd be satisfied if they just gave us a moddable version of the armor you see on the Knight in the character creation screen. I realize there's a Jedi Battlelord set for Guardians, but I literally just want that armor. Brown robe, silver/white armor, hood down. Everything else just makes me feel like I just stepped out of the shower or I'm a futuristic football player.

  8. You act as if Flame Burst / Unload / Rapid Shots doesn't do respectable damage on par with other DPS classes.

     

    For the record, Flame Burst doesn't hit for that much. Neither does Unload for a PT.

     

    7k smashes is a tremendously rare thing, requiring EV level mod drops on all the gear, popping CDs and buffs to do.

     

    5k-6k Rail shots are just as rare as a 7k smash. Whoever hit you with that got unbelievably lucky.

  9. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing the entire proc mechanic go, but that would require a redesign of the entire tree. Without the HiB/Rail Shot reset it would be pretty useless. With the underwhelming Tactics/Advanced Prototype tree that would leave that advanced class with Shield Spec and Shield hybrids only.

     

    People would still find something to complain about. Even if RS/HIB had only a 50% AP, there'd be someone who'd get killed by it, take a screenshot and use it as "evidence" of how overpowered it is, instead of realizing a 5k crit is an unbelievably lucky shot from a PT/Van who popped all his CDs and got some divine intervention.

    Rail shot/High Impact Bolt proc is completely RNG and could very well lead to a complete "dunping of resourses" without a single attack.

     

    This really isn't any different than a Mercenary or a Commando spamming TM/GR to proc unload and rapid fire, except that FB/IP does about half damage and eats through heat/ammo four times as fast.

  11. This is also super annoying in PvE, and there are many mobs that have DoTs. The worst is when your companion gets DoT'ed and you want to gather a resource. Since you have a companion available, it defaults to sending the companion for it, but they're going to be interrupted for 6 seconds. Stupid.

     

    Shift click and do it yourself.

     

    As to the OP, even the OOC regen says "taking damage cancels this ability." It's fine the way it is, use a medpack or find a Mario health power up like the rest of us.

  12. As soon as you are losing, there would be no incentive to stay.

     

    This. WZ dropouts are a big enough problem already, giving double the rewards to the winning team would only make players drop at the first sign of trouble even more than they already do.

  13. You need 200 Mercenary Commendations as well as 200 Warzone Commendations for one Champion PvP bag, purchasable from the PvP Items vendor next to the quest terminal in the Combat Training section of the fleet.

     

    Mercenary commendations are purchased from this vendor with Warzone comms at a rate of 3:1, so for each Champion bag you'll need a total of 800 Warzone commendations. Buying the bags is more of a supplement to the bags you get as rewards from the Weekly/Daily pvp quests.

     

    So, basically, do the PvP dailies every day for one Champ bag, the weeklies for 3 Champ Bags, and supplement these with the bags you purchase with the commendations you get from doing all the warzones.

     

    tl;dr: PvP your heart out.

  14. Mine doesn't lag.

     

    I turn my graphics settings down in those situations, though. You should try it. It works.
