I'm told that running normal boarding party can be fairly lucrative as there are a bunch of the security chests and of course mob drops to sell. Don't know how it compares to doing dailies in terms of efficiency however.
Somewhat off topic edit: are the white crystals really that interesting looking? I haven't seen one but I imagine they'd be kinda boring looking.

For tanks there are the Absorb adrenals that increase armor by a good chunk and last for 15 seconds with a 2 or 3 minute cooldown.

Only the hilt or barrel affect the base damage.
Other components (mod, enhancement, crystal) just affect your stats which of course affect the damage indirectly.

People do loot the way they want. Silly to me, but whatever.
The thing to me is that, no matter what people are using /random for, if you can cheese it that easily, it's kind of a waste to even put it in the game to begin with.

And all I am saying - based on that last info - is:
If you have 1 premade team of, say 2, make sure you have in opposite group 1 premade team of 2.
That's it.
Or, if you have bunch of individs, use the bunch of individs on the opposite side.
Devs can do it.
I understand your frustration and think that's a reasonable solution. Would you still want that though if it lengthened your queue times, perhaps by a wide margin?

I think one has to assume that it's been taken for granted that rated warzones will be 8-man ops queues.
I certainly hope that is the case, as anything else would be very strange.
I have to admit I don't study the forums and their blog things, but it's my understanding that they have had the chance to confirm the queue size and have chosen not to. Of course that's speculation and second hand information, but that's what the internet's for right?

Honestly, I can't believe you can't queue for regular warzones with 8 people. To do the same with rateds would just be ridiculous. Literally, laugh-out-loud ridiculous.
"Hey, we see you've got 3 buddies with you, you've worked on gear and strategies and communication so that you are the best competitive pvpers you can be. But hey, just to mix things up, here's 4 totally random players who may or may not need to remove their hand from their mouse periodically to wipe the drool from their chins. Have fun!"
Can't imagine that people who have the option to pvp in a full group are gonna put up with that. Allowing people to queue with fewer than 8 is fine, but not giving the option to queue with a full 8 is a terrible idea.

Maybe stick an npc only disarm on that throw lightsaber thing you guys get? or maybe that's only marauder that gets that.
As a tank junkie, I'm looking for my first tank alt (main is assassin). Juggernaut def. seems more lacking than the other two in ranged abilities.

I agree. I hate the way my assassin looks right now. Darker armor, not quite so pointy, and a hood would all be on my wish list.
I don't remember all the details but I think you'll be able to change the appearance of your armor in the future (and not just match chest color thing). If you find light armor pieces that you like the look of, hold on to them.
