The only cross-realm thing I support is Warzones. This doesn't destroy world PvP, lack of reward and incentive destroys world PvP.

I play DS choices only on my main, that all pretty much fits me to a tee. But I am trying to go the "honorable" route on my Bounty Hunter, mostly because I think it's cooler.
However, you're a Philosophy / Religion major {what in the world kind of job are you going to be able to get with that?}, so I suggest finding a Psychology major to throw in their input. I've JUST started graduate Psychology, or I'd help you.

Actually, any Sorcerer can have all of those. The only thing they have to choose between is the blind or instant casting the 8sec mez. And considering every sorcerer gets the 8sec mez regardless, without instant cast, there's no reason they can't have the blind.
We were talking about heavy armor classes having escapes.... using harpoon is not an escape. Most classes also have to use their gap closer, I.E. harpoon in order to start combat, too.
You can have a good number of them, but you most definitely cannot have them ALL. And if you take as any as you can, the only thing you're going to be able to do is CC, forget any viable healing or damage.

What escapes does a Vanguard have?
4.0 second ranged stun.
2.5 second melee stun.
Considering a Sorcerer has a 4.0 second stun, ranged snare, 8second mez/stun, knockback that roots, blind when bubble breaks and snares on half their attacks, I think the winner is Sorcerer here in terms of escapes.
Vanguards can't charge a friendly target, they can harpoon. They can charge if they spec 20 points into the shield tree but currently that's the worst PvP tree for a Vanguard. Even then, charging to ANOTHER enemy has limited functionality for escaping unless there's a pile of your teams healers over there waiting for you.
EVERY SORC DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THIS.
What you people are encountering is teams that have multiple Sorcs on them. Pay attention to names next time. You will NOT have the same Sorc preforming all of these things on you.
Sorc A has ability 1
Sorc B has ability 2
Sorc C has ability 3
If you are not paying attention to names, all you are seeing is a Sorc doing 1, 2, and 3 on you, therefore they must be over powered.

Same. I'm kind of sad about getting my Sorc to max, what if they come out with a race I really like? Like Miraluka or Torguta?
If they do, especially this early in the game, I hope they offer free one time race changes, maybe one per account. Or barring that generosity, a paid change.

Right click your character portrait and click "Change to Ops group". Basically a raid group.

A quick rant on speeders, taxi.....why cant we ride taun tauns, thats like the only reason to look forward to hoth! I made sweet loving cooing noises at them for hours and kept hoping " that next outpost" will have a taun taun taxi....but alas not,
I want a Tauntaun mount so bad you have no idea... They are so adorable. ;_;
A guildie came up with the idea about being able to burrow in their bellies for rested xp when you log out... :|

It really doesn't. If you have 3 raids but they can all be cleared in a week vs. 1 raid that takes 90 days to complete, which has more end game content?
If a game has 3 raids that can be cleared a week, and another game has no raids at all, which one has more end game?
Most games {even WoW} have no end game upon release.

Okay, this game is LESS about end game then. This game also has much more end game on release then pretty much any other game out there when they released.

Considering I can tell you jack **** about anything SW that I haven't learned in this game, calling me a fan "boy" is wrong, so sorry.
But you're still expecting too much if you want a million things to do at end game even at two months. Especially since this game ISN'T about end game.

I agree. And I personally want to try out all the Classes/AC's as well as check out all their story lines. So for me, I have TONs of things to do, at 3hrs a day.
Same. For once I started at the beginning of an MMO and want to be one of those people with a max level of every class / advanced spec.

we went back to other games waiting for gw2 to come out. other games as in acon, sto, dco, fallen earth, eve, wow and rift. all seem to be better than this game. in swtor i have 4 level 50 toons and did the raids and hm flashpoints the game just doesint have much to it. the storys are not that good. pvp is a joke and that was a big thing for us. but thank you for letting me know how you feel ill bring it up at the next stock holders meeting.
Oh nooo, the game's been out a month, I rushed to 50 instead of experience the game play / story like this game was made for so there is nothing for me to do, oh noooo. Why isn't this game more like games that have been out much longer? Oh noooooo.

A lot of people seem to be saying it's failing because of subscriber numbers and then turning around and comparing it to WoW subscriber numbers. WoW has had 7-8 years to get up to 11million subscribers. They DEFINITELY didn't have anywhere close to that many when they first came out. They were probably right on par as SWTOR upon release {which can be confirmed with a simple Google for WoW release sales figures.}
This game is a little over a month old, give it time. That's the problem with people these days, it's all gimme gimme gimme now now now. I want 100% days before I even THINK I want it.

No one complains about the Sage... Which leads me to believe we are NOT equal to the sorcerer...
Or it could be that no one really plays Republic, thus making Sages less of a "problem" in Warzones. Empire gets Huttball 75% of the time, we rarely even see Sages.

To all you people arguing about there being a million Pureblood Sith, remember that while yes it will look like that. Storywise, it will still be very rare. Because even in MMO's, storywise you are part of a small elite group capable of doing everything you are.
For example, did 500 Sith go and steal Revan's mask or kill Darth Thanaton? No, just you playing through the story, and that other guy also playing through the story.
Story / lore wise. Still rare.
