  1. This IGN review is spot on the game is so easy now and it has made the combat really boring.

All the points in that review is why I have cancelled my subscription today.

I am playing Final Fantasy Online A Realm Reborn now and wont be coming back unless they make some big changes to how easy the game has become.

  2. So are they going to fix this?

I did all the required achievements a few days before the patch and I never got my Gazebo in the mail.

I put a ticket into CS about this and they said to post on the bug forums about it as its something the devs have to fix..

This is the reply I got from CS

  4. If you like story games this new horror game The Park just came out a few weeks ago.

Its really good but its a short game having said that you can get it for under $10 so its worth it.

If you are looking for another MMORPG to play the only other one out atm that's worth it is Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn in my opinion.

  5. I would agree and this in part, informs my theory of the expacs design.

I think they were under resourced or had some monumental technical issue come along and punch them in the face.

The biggest expense in terms of time and money really in MMO design is QA. Their decision wheel, believe it or not, is a pretty huge QA project in and of itself. Making sure that every decision has the appropriate impact on various NPCs and thus potential future dialogue is no small undertaking and to add this on top of the actual playable content QA? I don't even want to think about what their QA budget is compared to other games.

Between how easy the lvling content is (I wouldn't even call it open world, because it is so heavily solo instanced) and how over tuned some of group instances are, AND THEN look at the bugs introduced (not seeing script mechanics in some group instances, needing to log out to redo utilities every time you respec, needing to retrain abilities everytime you do a respec, some of the quests requiring log out or instance resets to make things clickable or to progress the quest, just to name a few) they either had a lack of resources or some MONUMENTAL technical issue arose that cost so much time that adequate QA was not possible.

I really find it hard to imagine that the difficulty levels were their actual targets to be honest. I think they just pushed an unfinished product that was as "finished" as circumstances allowed.

If this is true I hope they do some balance adjustments soon as I hate how powerful my companions are now. I cant imagine what one would be like at influence rank 50!

  6. My toon is an agent and Scorpio is supposed to join me as a follower in chapter VII.

Unfortunately she neither shows up in the follower section nor the "unavailable companion section"

While all my toons other than agent class have no problem to acquire her in chapter VII

Is this intentional or a bug?

I have the same problem I have done all of the new story and Scorpio is gone.

I think its a bug thought they would of fixed it in the latest patch but they didn't.

  7. There's not an option to not have SCORPIO as far as I can tell. None of my characters really wanted her but there wasn't an option to prevent her from joining the way there is for several other potential companions. Or if there is I completely missed it.

One thing to be aware of is that under the allies tab there are several categories of companions and allies, make sure you check for SCORPIO in all of them. Another is that as far as crew skills go, the story related companions may need to have certain quest/influence requirements met before you can summon them or use them for crafting.

At any rate the answer to the thread title is, yes.

I have looked at all the categories and she is not there.

I have asked around and people say you are 100% meant to get her after you have done all the story yet I don't have her..
