  1. I have a real problem with well played Marauders as an Arsenal Merc. Keep us interrupted and it's game over. If I get range and an early stun I have an "okay" chance.
  2. 2) There are a disproportionate amount of Sith Inquisitors and Bounty Hunters. That match that had 9 players? 8 of them were Sith Inquisitors and the 9th was a Bounty Hunter.

I see just as many Sages and Troopers. Your argument is invalid.

  3. The gear is no where to be found now. However, if you purchased the gear before the patch it's still yours.

As to why they removed the option to purchase those items... who knows. This is BW we are talking about. They like to keep everyone, including their customer service, in the dark.

  4. hmm is there any good hybrid specs for merc? healer/dps trees. enough healing power to do flashpoints but also do dmg in pvp or maybe dps.

I've not been able to make a hybrid spec work yet (PVP). But, I've seen some people excell with them. Maybe it's just play style, I assume.

  5. It all boils down to this:

If WoW was your first MMO, you won't like TOR. These people will gradually go back to Azeroth until TOR has more bells and whistles. If you are an old school MMOer (like me) you will absolutely love TOR.

    It's that simple really.

Old schoolers don't want things spoon fed to them. While the WoW generation expect things to be given to them.

  6. Another tip, that's kind obvious...

I don't concern myself with endurance much, it's there or it's not. But, I'm always looking for more Aim and Crit. Crit is your best friend imo. Big crits help lower you heat level and that equals more pew pew.

  7. The best advice I can give in regards to an Arsenal spec Merc is: You are not a tank. Don't think like one. If you are in the middle of a group melee cluster(badword), you are in the wrong spot.

You are there to assist DD targets down, CC when needed (including knock backs), and to generally keep order from a distance. We are pretty much support casters in heavy armor.
