  1. Realize that today is technically early access AKA open beta. We subscribers who decide to run the content right away are for all intents and purposes that testing you speak of/want. The official date for release of Chapter XI is 3/10 not 3/8.

    Just sayin'

That's just somthing they have thrown at us to try to make us feel special!

New content has ALWAYS been on tuesdays until lately. After they stopped testing on PTU, they "gave" us this "early access" crap.

    Just sayin

  2. Also running a 8% alacrity build after 4.0 and it works very well.

    In 5x 216 set-bonus + 1x 220 set- bonus, 220 offhand and 216 mainhand, 220 implants and earpiece + old 198 relics.

    750 alacrity

    1085 Crit

    2431 power

    5153 mastery

    691 accuracy

First test on dummy gave 5938 dps, and no heat management problem.

  3. Have tanks guard healer.

We mark up one ranged DPS, so when Mass Barrage hits, all ranged stack on him so not to spread blue circles all over. They are given the space up against the fence in the back.

Same with melee. All run together, and depending on where boss is, either run left back og right back.

Healers get the spot in the middle. If one of your healers are standing next to melee group, that healer runs with melee on Mass Barrage.

When boss jumps to the right, All Ranged dps move to the left, and vise versa

  4. I tend to use him because he is unique, fun and does a decent job.

I have all other comps, but wont use them.

Just remove his tanking skills, or at least the pull. Makes using him much better since you are tanking :D

  5. If you download Parsec, you can create timers for your dots.

Just set them up with the correct names, length and choose you reminder sound.

I have a Jawa calling UTINI when rupture goes off and Adrmiral Ackbar shouting IT*S A TRAP when Force Rend goes off.

    No more DoT scouting

  6. 41 and got my own lawn, but stopped aging at 27. So more correct would be 27 on 14'th year.

Chasing kids that throw snowballls on my window always cracks me up :) Kids nowadays are not what you might call fit... My hope is that at least a few of them had to change underwear :D

It and telecom, happily devorced, 2 kids.

Used to work in sheet metal and welding until i had to re-educate in the late 90's.

Taped music from the radio, Fun Factory on SKY Channel, First gaming "machine" was Sony HitBit in 83. Transformers toys made of metal :D

Not the oldest guy in our guild :)

Will never stop gaming. Might take a pause from time to time thou

  7. I think my best progression moment in this game would have to be back at lvl50.

EV HM, The guild i was in were short on both people and dps and we got a tip from another guild to try it with 1 tank and maybe 1 healer and rest dps. We had a good tank and me as only healer.

That day we cleared EV HM for the first time.

Still remember the feeling of accomplishment of solo healing EV HM @ lvl50 and having no deaths :)

The second must be pre. 3.0 doing 4.1k dps on Nefra 16m NIM on my Assassin

  8. At least on TofN this seems to be in change.

Guess people are better geared now, and most players have better gear. Did both TOS and Ravager PuG's on several chars over the weekend. Both 16 and 8m. We even brought a massivly under geared player thru Ravagers. He was willing to join TS, so we took him, had a mix of green 168's and blue 178's. Yes, he dies a few times, but that is to be expected.

The last 2-3 weeks there seems to be a rise in number of pugs, but we still have people requiering Rdps, achivement etc.

  9. I couldnt agree more. Its even harder if your not on a high population server waiting for queue times. If one is not in a guild or not able to have hard mode or new ops progression it can be too far fetched for some to get those ultimate coms. Please SWTOR gods that be bring back ultimate coms prior to 3.0 !!

Off topic: I am colorblind and you Sir just fount the perfect color for me on this forum! The color you used is actually the first one that doesnt set my eyes on fire! Thanks :)

btw. this is a serious post, even if it's off topic

  10. Hi there folks.

All the parses i see that are very high these days are from Sentinels in Watchman spec, but none from Marauder in Annihilation.

Is there a significant difference in dmg output on these mirror classes or is it just that I am the only Marauder left in Annihilation?

It might be just me beeing a total noob, but in my gear, 192 6-set bonus, more or less min/maxed, i cant get higher on dummy than just over 4.3k in Annihilation. I parse the same numbers in Carnage.

When i compare my logs to the logs on Parsley(top parse over 4.9k), they are not very different. It seems that on paper I'm doing the same thing as Lumeé. Problem is that Lumeé does 5k and I'm doing between 4.3k and 4.4k.

I know that for Scoundrel and Operative in Lethality spec, Cull has 3 ticks, butt for Scoundrel it has 5 ticks. Is there some bug like this for Sents/Mara too?

  11. We play in an era where Sith swords were quite common, They were made of different alloys and stuff.

    "

Sith swords were constructed through various metallurgical and arcane means, transmuting base metals into an alchemical alloy possessing an unusual affinity for dark side energies. The rare metallic compounds used in its construction could result in blades varying in weight from 3 kilograms up to 6.5 kilograms, a blade far heavier than its 1.4 meter length[source?] would indicate. It often required great strength of body as well as in the Force to successfully wield the weapon and make it as dangerous as a lightsaber. In fact, the alchemical alterations allowed the Sith sword to block incoming lightsaber attacks, as well as deflect and redirect blaster bolts in much the same way a lightsaber did

    "

    "

A user skilled in the dark side could alter the weapon's molecular structure, making it stronger and sharper, and reverse its magnetic polarity, turning it into a high-temperature superconductor that could deflect blaster bolts and other particle weapons as if magnetically sealed. The rare ores used in its construction resisted lightsabers in much the same manner as cortosis and Phrik alloy, while its polished surface reflected laser beams and other coherent light weapons like a mirror. But perhaps most significantly, the weapon served as a focus for the dark energies of its wielder, amplifying their power and refining their control until they became a walking nexus of dark side power.

The weapon's magnetic properties, combined with its attraction to the dark side of the Force, caused it to react unusually to discharges of Force lightning; The blade would attract and absorb the energy, storing it like an electric capacitor until the blade made contact with a substantial physical object, whereupon the amplified electrical energy was discharged— to an extremely devastating effect.

    "

Swords made from Cortosis also had the ability to shut down a lightsaber on contact. There is only one saber crystal that can withstand cortosis and that is mined on Mestare.
