  1. Alright, so there I am out in the dunes, minding my own business on a PvE server. My flag's off - I'm not a big fan of PvP - and I'm waiting for Trapjaw to appear. A bunch of Imperials come out of nowhere. No biggie, they can have him, I'll just let my guys know so they can get the next one. Along comes a flagged for PvP guy. He's feverish. He runs up to me. I ask him to please back away, I don't want him to flag me or something when he explodes. I move away, he follows. I don't have enough time to use a vaccine before he explodes, flagging me for PvP, and the Imperials all start to attack me.

I don't retaliate, and just say "Stop."

Please, if you're going to have an event like this again, keep one thing I've said before in mind: If someone explodes from the plague and I get infected, ok - I caught their virus. What I should NOT catch, however, is their lust for PvP. I lost about ten minutes' worth of time waiting for my flag to go off - while dead - that I could have been participating in the event. And the respawn spot it throws you out at? Maybe ten feet away from where Trapjaw spawns, so I'd be killed immediately without any sort of time to get away from there.

I like everything in the event, except this one aspect . Exploding on a non-flagged player should not flag them for PvP - vaccine or not.

Thanks, and sorry for the rant.

Finding it hard to see why this is such a big deal, maybe you could you know just press the respawn button?

  2. Sure!

Tracking/BH quests where you have to research/tail your target and find the right time to strike or capture them. Tail you target, track them down etc etc..

    (FE has this)

PUZZLES! (SWTOR has a few but its mostly just in raids) DDO did this GREAT btw. All kinda of puzzles in that game. TSW is suppose to involve a lot of this as well.

    LIVE DYNAMIC EVENTS!

How hard could this be? I like the Rakghoul thing sure, but its static, and one day we will wake up, and it will just disappear.

UO had entire cities INVADED by undead armies, with boss mobs controlled by REAL people, who roleplayed the part and everything. Hell they had QUESTS that were like this, with riddles and clues and all kinda of crap.

CRAFTNG! Why don't we have quests involving crafting? You would be surprised how many folks would like this. Going out and finding rare minerals or materials, meeting buy orders etc.

I know with limited interfaces like the Keyboard and mouse its tough to innovate, but other genres have done it, why not MMOs?

I dont just mean quests btw. I talk about a lot of concepts that have grown stale, or been over used.

I thought you were an idiot at first, but i actually like these ideas

  3. I find it funny that all the people/kids that didn't get in on the first day because they ordered it last month or something when it clearly stated from the VERY BEGINNING that first preorders would get in first are crying and saying "F rating". Bioware imo have done a very good job so far, they have made an amazing game, have a smooth bug free early access launch and are keeping up contact via forums, twitter and facebook. TBH i haven't seen a company put so much effort in as bioware in an mmo.

Please everyone, be patient, you WILL be on in the following days.

  4. U promise at list 5 days of pre oder now u said only about 1 or max 2 days...

it's not fair...seems to me when i enter game in 19 or 18 there will be a lot of 50 lvls... we all pay u same mone, why they playing and lvling and we should sit here? Bad launch idea rly...

UP TO 5 days not AT LEAST

Also, 7 days wont make much difference, i doubt anyone can hit 50 in a week, and if they can well then you wouldnt have beaten them to it anyway so theres no change really
