    im here to explain some issues,possible fix's and other content that would be nice to be implamented.

     

    1. [Expertise scaling]

    expertise scaling right now is off.right now the scaling goes as follows (example with about 1200 expertise)

     

    23% damage to players

    18% damage reduction from players

    12% healing boost

     

    it should look more like this (example with about 1200 expertise)

     

    23% damage to player

    23% damage reduction from players

    18% healing boost

     

    this is how it should look like that should hopefully fix issues like players die'ing in 3 seconds in pvp,its not realy pvp when you dont have time to actualy pvp before your at the spawn waiting for the barrier all the time and also expertise needs to scale better to further seperate pvp from pve as players are still mixing pvp and pve gear to use in pvp with the new black hole gear.

     

    Just kinda curious, why not add it so say, the tank gear is something like

     

    18% dmg to player

    28% dmg reduction from players

    10% healing boost

     

    dps:

     

    26% dmg to player

    20% dmg reduction from players

    10% healing boost

     

    healer:

     

    10% dmg to player

    16% dmg reduction from players

    22% healing boost

     

    each version being sync'ed into proper sets so dps get dps tanks get tank and healers get heals, that way tank gear has purpose. just kinda my own suggestion >.> not sure if anyways else said similar didn't scroll far. that way healers arent pumpin out massive dmg and tanking groups, tanks arent lighting people up like dps and can take a hit. and dps can hit like trucks but not flop when they get targetted.

  2. Abilities like Rocket Punch, Shiv, Back Blast, etc. should be considered melee abilities, able to be dodged, parried, or shielded. Tech/Force attacks should be able to be shielded across the board, even if they are not affected by Defense. Killing a tank should be difficult.Tanks should also have ways to ignore the massive amount of armor penetration that is given to DPS classes. There is absolutely no reason that a tank should ever take a High Impact Bolt for 5k damage. You deal with a tank through CC, knockbacks, and mezzes; you kill them after their healer is dead. In return there needs to be changes made such that a tank cannot turn a healer into a nearly-invulnerable mobile hospital.

    Cool beans but perhaps you should lobby BW to get tank stats to work first. Then open a discussion about guard being tied to defensive stats dont ya think.

    i think he was, just sayin. Most people who are talking about tanks defensive stats are hoping/wanting BW to fix them and make them worth having tank pvp wise. Try reading everything instead of just repeating the same **** over when someone mentions tying in tank defensive stats into their abilities...

  3. Not to add fuel to the fire but this is seriously a learn to play issue. I don't care how good you think you are, I guarantee there are better players than you. The fact that gear makes an extremely huge difference on most classes is also an issue. People that can't accept the other player had the upper hand cry cheat and exploit. I have done it myself until I realized what a difference skill, gear, hot keys, and strategy can do. With great team mates I am sure I am one of the people on my 49 you are complaining about. I have no problem running into a group of 4 others and taking them all 4 down with one other person on my side. I generally average a run of 15-20 kills per death. I do have 5% dmg reduction and straight pvp dmg from max expertise. I have 3 shot many lesser geared players rather easily. Keep in mind this is the exception to the rule and having bad teammates that don't group up makes this impossible. I am sure there are very few min/makers in the 10-49s but they are out there. I could not have a single better stat pool, I have the best piece of gear possible in every slot, full augments, bio Stimson and buffs. I put in tons of effort and money acquiring this gear and I deserve to kick your ***. Put in the effort and you will see the results.

     

    no one is really talking about losing 4-2... or K/D stop strokin your epeen and read that lots is movement speed, capping whilst being hit, or not being able to be targetted for leap/charge, etc... btw hit 50 and then get 15-20/death lol.

  4. well, maybe this is obvious as well.... this should be stickied, vital simple information and if some newb comes along has an idea of what to do... and hopefully reduce some of the n:rak_02::rak_02:b population
  5. thought this game was about story... thought thats what most bioware games kinda go for... add LFG may as well remove class quests... and just make its so you go planet to planet based on level if you wanna quest... because hell in WoW, i roll tank or heals... queued til 80 or 85... and didnt care about questing because gear was better and leveling was faster that way... community? it does exist if you go to a large enough server where theres stuff always happening go to the server forums the large servers all have names especially in PvP that eachother all know well. I'd rather quest with a story rather than spam LFG and wait 5 minutes for the queue to pop and do the same thing ive been doing all night.

     

    Oh right, WoW, that game is still alive, you want a storyless game with a LFG/LFR system with no community and easy leveling, just go play that stop tryin to convert something that isn't into that... add a channel thats global and in it can only be said LFG or GLF, flashpoint and OP names and tank, heals or dps. no other words will be permitted Add a listing system you can add yourself to, will show your spec, level, class, where you currently are and what FP/OP you're looking for... cross server not needed, transfers... very much needed, be them free or paid, implement them sooner rather than later!
