  1. Then why are you brown-nosing them right now? "Just showing your support" = fanboy. Especially posting on general forums. You can send them an email to tell them how fantastic they are, but you wanted everyone else to see it too.

Oh my bad bro, let's get back to moaning and groaning while rolling on the floor like a five year old.

    Grow up.

  2. Actually you're wrong. The people, who preordered early are probably SW fans. Why would a hardcore gamer preorder a MMO he knows _nothing_ about? Even if there's any real "competition" in the game? :)

Actually, I'm not. Major guilds from many games (WAR, AION, WoW, AoC, etc) already had branches established for this game shortly after its early announcement. That's what hardcore clans do. This isn't just for SWTOR either. There's already clans getting prepped for TERA and GW2 as well after their early reveals.

Just because you may not be a part of one (or maybe you do) does not mean other people are the same way.

  3.

Instead, with this type of launch and a whole variety of different things about this game, they are stripping the competitive nature of online gaming away. They are totally ostracizing and betraying a large part of the MMO community, the hardcore players.

The hardcore players are the one who pre-ordered and put their code in the first day they were able to. They are the ones who are currently in the game. If you and others like you had the slightest belief of belonging to that group you wouldn't be here complaining right now.

Their system is great. No one will have to wait absurd queue times when trying to enter a server. Fighting for mobs won't be such a hassle in contrast to everyone joining in at once.

  4. Eh. Rift "early access" launch was worse. People waiting literally hours in server queues, only to be disconnected. It was literally weeks for them to get everything stable, and by then people were unsubbing to the point that servers because too underpopulated.

This one sucks too, but at least we just wait for an email rather than endless queuing.

Sure glad i didn't take the day off though!

I would say Aion was pretty bad, just for the fact that people would set up shops so they wouldn't get kicked off when they went to bed. lol

  5. So many pages so many nerd rages, this is fun haha! I like the poeple who worry about names being taking. Like really is your name you want so normal that it will be taken within the first day of a pre launch? How I pity you worriers.

What makes it so sad is that said names are probably unoriginal/uncreative/and have some variant of "shadow", "dark", or "sephiroth" in them. Smh.

  6. It is absolutely astounding how many people feel entitled to more than they're already getting. Your pre-order code grants you up to 5 days of early game access. That could be 5. That could be 1. Instead they're giving you up to 7. Stop complaining. If a few random stragglers who pre-ordered later than you happen to slip in, are you really surprised? There are hundreds of thousands of pre-orders, I'm sure--at the very least. It was bound to happen.

+1 To one of the best posts in this thread.

  7. You know, Bioware could have just said forget the Early Access, and let all of us who pre-ordered be content with the extra goodies and still force us to play on the 20th. Instead they do the 'waves' of players coming in, at first giving us 5 extra days. Now it's seven.

Sure that means those who pre-ordered first might get a day or two head start over us who pre-ordered later? So what? To me that only means I might actually get five days to play instead of one or two before launch. AND I'M GRATEFUL. Grateful for something freely given that Bioware was not, in any way, required to give at all.

So to those who are whining, it's the equivalent of a man giving you a dollar, and the whiners slapping the man across the face saying, "Fool, give me a five!"

    Rediculous.

Anyways, can't wait to play, kinda glad I work this morning, better than sitting here refreshing my email or somesuch. XD

    Thank you! *golf clap*
