  1. the simple art of making money in NEW MMORGS is as follows, you take only gathering skills, when you quest you gather, keep your mats and sell them in the GTN, it makes no difference what you sell them for as long as they are 1 credit cheaper than the cheapest, they have zero cost to you so you WILL make credits, also take slicing as one of them, there's no money in missions for slicing but its FREE money when you find boxes and you WILL find boxes.

New games encourage people to craft, people cannot find enough to satisfy their lust to create so people WILL buy mats from the GTN.

Also watch the GTN aggressively if someone has them cheaper than you pull them and put them back up again, you only lose a few creds but will make it back up very soon, i speak from experience as i have just under 2 mill at level 41 doing this exact same method.

    I know it works.

  2. I have Cybertech and am quite enjoying it, for each level I can use my crafted stuff I will make & RE until I get the required Purp, I know its not making financially sense but I do it anyway as I prefer to have the best item I can craft in use, does anyone else do it or am I the only idiot wasting my money doing this :)
  3. On top of that, they are possible to fail... I'm pretty annoyed at that fact... 3k and 2.5 hours for abso-stinken-lutly nothing.

Had this happen to me last night i was gutted, +10 on my companion, 400 skill, i used the mission, then paid 3k to go do it only to have it fail, Happy not was I.

  4. Locking it entirely to character level doesn't leave much incentive for players to explore dangerous new worlds, though. But I'm noticing a reluctance in the design to allow for players poking their noses off the beaten path.

    Good Point...

  5. If you do not want to queue, you should consider playing on another server, many of which have very low or no queues.

The update is great and we appreciate it but why do you keep using the above as a statement?

The idea of an RPG is to progress, creating new characters each time you screw up is not helping us progress ?

  6. Guys the best thing to do is ignore threads like this.... attention seeking wow kids will always be craving attention and drama leave them be come 21st Jan they will all be headed back to the mothership

Exactly like Bioware have done with the server q thread totalling over 600 replies?

  7. quick wheres my tin foil hat....

seriously man get a life you post is disruptive and negative and brings nothing to the forum

Incorrect, it highlights to new people how bad customer service is from Bioware, you are correct problems are expected at launch, what is not expected is extremely poor customer service, no updates from staff or moderators, vague descriptions about how they plan to fix it and a complete lack of respect for paying customers.

  8. It's not bioware's fault. It's people auto-running to escape auto-disconnections that is the problem. I have seen it and I am sure other's have seen it to. Think about it, 50 players auto-running and not getting disconnected that means 50 people cannot login until someone else disconnects.

    .

Seriously have you read any of the posts!

This whole mess is Biowares fault.

  9. Bioware do you know we are here?

    Are you reading these posts?

Dont you think it would be a good idea to say something?

honestly half of the problem here is you have not commented in over 600 posts, this really is unprecedented in ANY MMO Launch! Just get off ya backside MAN UP and join in, tell us WHY you messed up, OWN UP, STAND Forward and explain in real words what your going to do about it, the harm you are doing is far worse than the upset that will be caused by owning up and explaining things !!!

  10. Sorry didn't have time to read all 306 pages!

Server queue? Deal with it. Do people honestly have nothing else to do with their free time but to sit and wait for a queue?

Yes you are a paying customer, yes you are entitle to play the game you paid for. Yes the server queue is a known problem. IS LAUNCH DAY.

Relax, go find something else to do and let things die out, this isn't really that big of an issue to be worth 300+ pages!!

    NO and NO and NO,

I paid for a game to relax in my spare time, not to buy an awesome game from a company who has proven they do nto care about their player base, underestimated a core factor in how an MMO works and sits back and watches a thread escalate out of complete control because they really have no idea on how to resolve it.

Honestly Bioware you have truly FUBAR this time.

  11. Guys, there are plenty servers with endough room, stop QQing and choose different server!

why do people keep saying this - DONT BE SO STUPID!!

Bioware created MY guild on their server, they chose it and placed all my members on the same server, why on earth would i want to create another character on another server to never play it again !!!
