  1. I believe Pod Racing is in development. I'll try to go look up the developer dispatch video or article wherever I read it, but I seem to recall one of the developers saying that they tried to capture as many Star Wars fantasies as possible at launch, and that players looking to live their Wedge Antilles, Sebulba and General Veers fantasies should look forward to the future.

Which suggests the new space content might be pretty rad, and there's some sort of vehicle combat in development as well.

    The post is here.

I suppose that's not proof that those features are in development, just that the developers have considered it. While we may never see that content, it's nice to hope.

Free roam space flight in a warzone type scenario would be epic. I'd actually play space in TOR.

  2. Dragon Covenant is recruiting for all types of Sith Empire roleplayers. There are two parts to our guild. One is the front in which we are recruiting heavily. Council positions available for those who have strong initiative to lead, and balanced roleplayers needed for active roleplay on a consistent basis. Most of us are seasoned veterans of past roleplay communities from Starsider/Ahazi SWG. Our guild has a very strong core that is solidified by friendships that have spanded many years in roleplay. Be apart of a very talented group of roleplayers that foster canon, and fanon in ones own ways with many days of consistent roleplay.

    Who and what we are:

We are a versatile guild catering to all aspects of the game, PvE, PvP, and Roleplay. Our guild officers are all well versed in at least two if not all three of the area's we offer for our guild, if one of them doesn't know something that one of our members asks us, one of the others more than likely do. We are a close, family oriented guild and have been together for quite some time.

    The Gaming side:

Our members are diligently working on completeing the daily and weekly missions for both pvp and pve including mastering heroics and operations. We often help and encourage our lower level members to better their characters in both experiance and gear, If your trying to find something or need help on a quest normally we will be able to help you or point you to someone who can.

    The roleplay side:

The Dragon Covenant is a guild that doesn't take roleplay lightly. The setting for this Guild is a powerful Empire expanding to several key systems; Lucazec, Vjun, and Gala. Within this modest empire, players are invited to fulfill key locations and positions for roleplay. In this empire we do not just foster sith roleplayers, but foster Sith aligned factions. We seek roleplayers of the Smuggler, and Bounty Hunter caste. Even ones who choose to play sith faction aligned Engineers, Officers, Ship Captains, and even soldiers.

We have three ranking systems available for roleplayers. These are the Noble Legacy, the Sith Legacy, and the Blackguard Legacy. Each one has specific perks that, when a roleplayer advances in them, are rewarded for showing initiative, roleplay awareness, and interaction with others. Based solely off ones skills in roleplay, the members in these ranks, sometimes all three, can really have 100% of their time involved in roleplay. We believe that roleplay be the cornerstone of our guild.

We're always on the lookout for great roleplayers that want to interact on a more deeper roleplay level. Not all our members are in relation to the Vylius, or the other thirteen Noble Houses. If your looking for a guild that wants to be apart of a full, rich, story set in the TOR timeline, and aligned with the Sith Empire, then this guild is definately for you.

    The Star Wars Saga Side:

A lot of us interweave our characters with the Star Wars Saga Edition and host campaings and character progression events over a Ventrilo/mumble server that utilizes a great deal of on-line resources for dice room, character sheets, and chat. This is typically done every Friday Night. This form of interaction has been shown to be incredibly enjoyable and productive for a healthy roleplay experience. It is not mandatory to participate in the Saga system, but recommended because its one extra perk for getting involved in a much deeper connection to your character in a dice rolling system.

    Conclusion:

Our goal is to have an exciting and fun gaming experience in a roleplay setting of Star Wars Lore. Our core of roleplayers, gamers, and talented writers, are always on the lookout for more members to interact with in roleplay. With a fresh look on how we once roleplayed and how it all plays now is very fulfilling and exciting. Keeping our forums full of roleplay and stories has been for great reading and watching players develop their characters in many different aspects of roleplay, not just Sith. Keeping to our ultimate goal in creating, writing, acting out really great roleplay, we move forward. Always keeping in mind our characters surroundings and keeping the roleplay believable, and fulfilling

  3. Add a random dice roll feature that can be customized to show up in group chat, chat channel, or guild chat.

    command could be;

    /ran #

    /roll #

    /dice #

    /dice

Then a small interface window pops up with configurable dice. One could then simply click the desired dice picture and the result would be put into a configured group chat, chat channel, or guild chat.
