  1. Anyone else tired of spamming their "filler" key? Is it fun for anyone? Does it make combat feel better to anyone?

Isn't it about time they gave up on whatever it was they thought they were doing, and give us back the ability to autoattack so I can stop wearing out my 1 button.

The words "Give Back" implies you had it to start with.

  2. you can easily get all the healing medals available right now, i do 400k+ healing pretty often. the problem like you said is there arent enough medals to justify playing a healing spec in warzones.

i see dps speced ppl getting 11+ medals while i get maybe 5 or 6 tops, max i got was like 8 and i sacrificed the 300k healing medal to go for the 75k damage one.

That really depends on your healing class and how many healers are in your team. Also your gear, if your a SI of course your topping healing charts. JC and SI's are by far the best healers because they don't struggle with resources.

  3. Seriously....where are the medals for healing? You have to be attacking something to get much for medals. Unless your already fully pvp geared then you might get 4 or 5 compared to the 10 the dps gets.

MAKE MORE MEDALS FOR HEALING AND LOWER THE AMOUNT NEEDED TO HEAL TO ACHIEVE MEDALS BY 30% TO MATCH THE NERF.

  4. don't you think to fix bugs and fps problems before release new content ?

don't be greedy fix game first

The majority of MMo's use multiple teams, each team is given a certain task and they work on those tasks. The development team likely has nothing to do with the bug/exploit finding/fixing team. Other then the watercooler chat.

  5. flame me all you want i dont care

but nice to know peopel are happying paying for a game that needs to bring the servers down 3+ times in a week

where they could bring them down for 1 day and do it all at once

Be honest, you expected it with the thread title. Honestly using language that is censored out in your thread title isn't exactly what you do to bring rainbows and sunshine to your thread.

  6. You'd think eh.

They need to fix this issue now, not in three months.

Without seeing the code its impossible to know how difficult this would be to change. They are likely looking into fixing it as soon as possible. Sometimes things that seem like a easy fix can be a logistic nightmare.

  7. I don't think they've even stopped by to address this issue, despite several long threads having been created about it.

    They don't care.

Not addressing it right away does not mean its a acceptable behavior. At some point common sense has to take apart of peoples thinking process. Forcing PvP on a PvE server is a exploit thats a no-brainer.

  8. Ever want to totally screw with the other side?

Stealth (while flagged) and stand in the middle of a chokepoint of mobs in an enclosed quest area for the other faction.

There's a level 35 doing that to a bunch of us level 20 somethings on Tattoine, and he's literally shut off an area quest chain. Tickets to customer service are telling us that players are supposed to be flagged on PVE servers when they catch PVP players in AOE attacks.

So there we have it. Apparently, Bioware condones and supports PVP players completely screwing you over on a PVE server. Thanks a lot.

And the best part? The only safe zone (where you can unflag) is all the way back in Anchorhead. I disapprove of this approved behavior.

    Stay Classy Bioware.

What you mentioned is both exploiting a bug, and griefing. If you do this and get reported I wouldn't be surprised if you get banned. Specially if a person opens a ticket and explains they are on a PvE server and someone is exploiting a bug to grief you. Also.... I think trying to get people to use said exploits on the forums may be breaking a rule or two on its own.

  9. So they are basically fixing the bugs / exploits in a couple of crafting professions because they were broken?

    Shocking indeed...

    Driz

People really need to learn the definition of exploit. People using biochem was not Exploiting... Exploiting deals with taking advantage of a bug. They was not doing that, they was taking advantage of a game mechanic that was working as intended at the time. After re-evalutating the situation they decided Biochem was too strong and chose to nerf it. I suppose the 30000000 SI's are exploiting too?

  10. The first major patch imo is very dissapointing, while the added content is nice, why is it so hard or take forever for BW to make the most requested changes, fixes, and adjustments to this game.

    1. The UI needs a major overhaul and shouldve been fixed before launch.

    2. Give life to the npcs instead of being frozen in the background (Walking, talking, clickable)

    3. Make the GTN more user-friendly (search bar please!)

    4. Add server forums

    5. Change the companions auto-follow so they dont get in the way when you click on a node or go to a vendor

    6. Add weather patterns, wildlife, swimming, etc to make the worlds not so lifeless

    7. Make the dialogue choices have more interesting conclusions that matter later in the game.

If BW did most or all from this list, it will greatly add to the games long-term replayability, right now i wont be keeping my sub going past Jan 20th. Guess I will be playing Skyrim and Fallout: NV and Saints Row 3.

I think you have the bar set pretty high, while these changes ARE important they are things that would require months of development time to address. And they likely are working on it on the side, but don't expect it in any patches prior to 1.3
