  1. I haven't really found that, actually. I never saw any Alliance while leveling up my Druid. I see Sith all the time. And as an aside, every single time they seem to attack me, ragardless of what they're doing at the time.

    You really arent, its fun and ridiculous at the same time when you are for some reason rolling with your columi/rakata geared main on some 25-40lvl area and they really attack you IMMEDIATELY and then they try to run like a little girl once they see their attacks have no effect on you. seriously it takes maybe 10secs to check the opposing players hp and level...

     

    and lets not forget my personal favorite when playing an alt, gettin attacked by same lvl range sith->proceeding to beat his butt like no tomorrow and then going on your way. now pretty much 90% of the time if i stay on the same zone i will get ganked by the same guy+few other siths that now tag along with him trying to find me and /spit and /dance'd for few mins.

     

     

    oh and to the topic of story, like the second poster said its bioware story.

  2. It annoys me to no end, they boasted about gear progression for years. Showed off their wall of awesome gear we can expect to pick up on our journey to 50 and then come launch they remove all gear progression and the leave us with a handful of hooded robes that they never even bothered to fix.

    Im actually going to farm my jedi guardian the commando maelstrom chest once i get to 50, its not the best looking but atleast it somewhat fits a knight's look(and its hoodless!) unlike the other trooper chests that have jetpackmicrowaveoven on their backside. Woe is me though when i get columi chest...

     

    gear really looks like crap, even lady gaga has a better fashion sense and thats just...

    Obviously this is not as big a deal to people that only use 1 weapon, and for those who are not maxing out their DPS, but I just wanted to point out that some builds/classes can make good use of extra accuracy and I see some people falling into the trap of thinking accuracy is not as useful for them as it can be.

     

    some maybe yeah, the ones that dualwield atleast but still no excuse to have accuracy swarmed gear for commandos etc.

     

    im not even really interested in "upgrading" my character to the next tier because only boost is the armoring mod thus im not even really interested in playing anymore.

    its like bioware is saying we(the people who manage to do hard/nightmare raids) are inferior customers as columi with superior mods is far easier to get.

     

    and lets not even take into account how long the weapons have been bugged.

  4. I'd love to be in the same warzone as you, because I would make you quit the class. DPS Mercs and DPS Commandos are absolutely the easiest class for me to shutdown via interrupts.

    this pretty much, i've quitted doing wz:s on my commando for this sole reason. Everyone with interrupts target me immediately when they hear one grav round sound making my life a living hell on the warzones. Its not as much of an "easymode" class as its just plain annoying when you are most often the priority target of shutdowning for pretty much every half competent player.

     

    i've seen commando/mercs taken as priority targets over healers because they are easier to shutdown, yes its that bad...

  5. My thoughts on Stat priorities (not hugely tested, so take them with a grain of salt :) )

     

    Crit > Surge > Power > Accuracy > Alacrity

     

     

    On stats it seems after some testing crit starts "capping" at 35% ie you get less crit change from +critical and surge was 82% or so. well minimum 35% crit is absolute must atleast on pve, this up with +5% from smuggler buff and few others and you have crit around 41-42%. (not to mention the godly 2set pve set bonus)

     

    also the full auto might not be that useful in pvp but in pve it really shines as in most fights there's only few moments you take dmg or are interrupted(some bosses like to knockback the whole raid).

     

    Dunno what else i could say expect that yeah the alacrity is pretty useless, i had the +4% passive talent and then respekked without it, my ammo generation is slightly better and it seems full auto animation bugged most of the time because it was "too short" atleast for me, now i have to very rarely annoy myself watching the channeled bar and animation without it going to gcd and doing no dmg.

  6. I'm much more concerned about having 300+ USELESS accuracy on the "best" gear. Even alacrity is pretty awful in TOR. Crit, Surge, and Power are the stats that actually make a difference (after hitting 105% on special attacks).

    yeah this is ridiculous, people have argued that columi is actually the "BiS" for most people, ofc they are going to get the rakata too but im sure most including me will swap the 58mods to 56 ones. seriously im a gunner commando with +35% armor pen from form, another +15 or how much it was from grav round spamming and... whoever designed the stats is a total idiot who absolutely hates endgame pve. only useful thing really is the 58 armoring.

  7. overall most leveling zones apart from coruscant are quite dead on my server(ragnos), and it wont really help people to like being underdog when you never find grp for heroics expect weekends and if you get close to the areas where empire players have quests there's atleast 2-3 of them close by so the moment one notices you they probably yell "FREE KILL!!!" or something on their general chat and wham! you get ganked spitted and /danced by 3-5empire players...
  8. Way too many gigantic shoulderpads and spikes, guys. Get back to the high tech look, we're not orcs.

    Seriously, what is it with every mmorpg and their shoulderpads? Mine(commando) glitch trough my chest all the time and they look just as much impractical.

     

    Also what's the deal with buttcape? protect my bum from being dirty when i sit?

  9. I swear to God all I hear is Grav round spammed and I'm dead in 4 seconds.

    I swear to god you didnt see them throw demolition round and high impact bolt to you even though they did, seriously even idiots know not to spam 1 ability if they have even 2 more on their arsenal to make you dead faster...

     

    Grav round/tracer missile isnt the problem, bad players are.

     

    I play commando and i say it again, i get utterly destroyed if 1-2 well playing melee decides to make me their target and they usually do because only idiots leave TURRET class ALONE spamming his skills... you know, there's skills like interrupt/stun/cc/los etc?

     

    also the thought that grav round spammers can just selfheal themselves up is a lie, if you spec deep in arsenal/gunnery your heals get interrupted by pushback a lot and even then you only get good heal on yourself if it happens to crit and lets not forget they cost huge amounts of heat/ammo.

I dont get it, are most people really so incompetent they cant spot a merc/commando from miles away? atleast on commandos the shining white armour and huge gun is a dead giveaway that usually ends me(i play commando) getting leaped over and over again and interrupted if i even try to unload 1 grav round. Well maybe the players i've faced are just better players overall since they atleast know to SAVE the leap until AFTER i knockback them and interrupt my grav rounds...
  11. They really should atleast put biochem level requirement to Rakata reusables etc in next few patches, it's just ridiculous that people are starting to roll trough the crafting skills right now. First they make reusable rakatas etc, then cybertech for grenades and then armormech/synth for the belt/whatever. Few people on my guild is allready starting this and im pretty sure quite few people have allready done that.

     

    otherwise biochem doesnt need nerf.
