  1. Worst part of their grind is that its just a means to an end, there's NOTHING to do with the gear once you get it. No achievements, no ladder system, nothing to boast about except the amount of time you wasted... kind of similar to Warhammer Onlines Renown Rank system... "Yay i got it... now what?" :/
  2. Commandos are so Op with their delayed animations and only ever having to fight Sorcerers and Powertechs... i wish i was a commando, instead of a crappy merc where i have to fight Gunslingers and Jedi and other Commandos who can't avoid my Tech dmg! ITS NOT FAIR
  3. Escape -> Dirty Kick -> Hunker Down -> Do **** loads of damage.

     

    I'd avoid using aimed shot after the dirty kick, because that will max their resolve bar pretty quickly. Use XS Freight Flyby on top of yourself, that will make them sacrifice their health to do any damage to you.

     

    I thought it went without saying, but usually whatever burst i can apply is mitigated by Dodge and Cleanse...

I just can't do it, we have 0 abilities to avoid their 100% tech dmg , if i break out of the 2 second stun i'll be eating a 4 second stun if i break the 4 second stun i'll still have to have eaten a 2s stun and i'm generally below 50% HP before i can even move and using cc breaker ensures that i wont have anything to break out of their snare so gaining range is an impossibility. I just dont know how to overcome STARTING the fight being forced to burn CC breaker and being under 50% HP every time.
  5. I was fighting this Sorc the other day and he started to Force Lightning so i interrupted him, he force sped away while immune to CC and there was nothing i could do to catch him :/

     

    I started fighting this Power Tech, he laughed at my dmg and 4 shot me :/

     

    I was fighting this other Gunslinger and we both threw out our anti-cover abilities, then we both rooted eachother, then we both blinded eachother, then we both ran up and kicked eachother in the nuts. At this point we both figured whats the point and switch to attacking the Commandos :/

  6. SWTOR needs more distractions than PvP, even if they add 3 new maps they would still get boring and then what do you do? There needs to be things players want to do besides Raid and PvP ... (crazy concept im sure)
  7. Terrible idea is terrible. It's like saying a tank shouldn't be able to guard someone while doing damage. Or maybe you'll say anyone with a taunt shouldn't be allowed to use it in pvp, if they're not tanking.

     

    Me using taunt/guard in PvP is the same thing as healing.

     

    Personally, yea i think if a hybrid class is capable of dealing the damage of a pure DPS class, they shouldnt also be given the benefits of being a tank or healer at the same time with no compensation to the DPS only classes. But thats just me.

    Do the math where Full auto can be Dodged/Deflected and mitigated by Armor, and has a 15 second cooldown.

  9. You mean like shadow priests?

     

    Sure, add in an aoe fear, and make it so all damage done in shadowform heals the sorc and team, restores mana, and the form also adds great damage mitigation- and shields can still be used of course.

     

     

    You want s-priests, you should maybe remember all the things spriests have first.

     

     

    Different game sir, Stances are in this game and Bioware has already shown that they don't want classes being able to Tank and DPS at the same time (nerfing Shadow/Assassin stance dancing) So why should Sorcs be special and be above that rule when it comes to Healing and DPSing? No other class can take Top Dmg and Top healing in the same WZ, its broken.

    Newsflash Interupting TK Throw/Force Lightning hits us hard for two reasons:

     

    1.)Force Conservation meaning we cannot remain a high force pool and we drain pretty fast when we cannot use TK Throw. Also it does only medicore damage untless you get PS procc.

    2.) Our main Burst comes from two sources: Force Lightning/TK Throw and Weaken Mind/Affliction both give us proccs. Both are easily countered either by Interupt or by Dispels. Reducing our chances to get these proccs greatly impacts our burst and overall damage.

    3.) So which class has long cast times on their CC? Which CC is not instant bar Force Lift/Whirlwind which ironically is a Sage/Sorc spell

    4.) You can easily counter Force Speed with nice stuff like Grapple, Slow, Root, Stun and it is not hard to anticipate when they run away.

    Hint: They turn away from you while on low health most of the time.

     

    So instead of nerdraging here you should start to L2P.

     

    Have you ever played a Dirty Fighting Gunslinger? My guess is you haven't stepped outside of playing a Sorc at 50 if you think you've got it rough. Imagine if you will, you have to set up 4 (2 dots 2 debuffs) abilities and a self buff THEN do a 3 second channel... which has a 9 second CD btw... to match the dmg a sorc does but applying 1 dot and then using force lightning.

  11. Is interrupting a 3-sec channel really that hard?

     

     

    INTERRUPT FORCE LIGHTNING YES!!!! that solves everything! sorcs dont have any other abilities to compensate for a few seconds like multiple forms of instant CC or bubbles or heals of speed to LOS or a secondary nuke... derp derp derp

  12. 2 months of Bioware avoiding the topic as well... No mentions of any fixes coming to any of the voiced issues by the community. So yea, just keep on sitting there twiddling your thumbs in bliss i guess.
  13. Why are You referning only to sorc/sage ?

    Bounty Hunter and Operative should get this kind of mechanic to don;t You think ?

     

    Mercenaries already have stances and have to spec deep into their healing tree so as to not go out of ammo/overheat quickly. Operatives are a melee range fighter for one thing so throwing out DPS and switching back and fourth between heals is about 10x harder than it is for Sorcs and they have an extremely limited Energy Bar which would deplete in a matter of seconds if they attempted to swap back and fourth between healing and DPS in a single fight.

     

    Pretty much, if a Merc or Operative starts to heal themselves or friendlies in a fight while specced to still do damage, they couldn't switch back to doing significant dmg because their limited Energy/Heat bars would be depleted/full. And vice versa, attempting to DPS as a healing spec they arnt going to accomplish much but tickles that even a Gunslingers defense screen could absorb while running themselves out of energy which stops them from being able to do any significant healing.

  14. Snipers and Gunslingers are the only class whos design is only capable of countering themselves.

     

    Cover only works against other snipers...

    Dodge only works against other snipers...

    Diversion is designed SPECIFICALLY for use against snipers...

     

    Wish we had a single ability to mitigate any Force or Tech dmg :/
