  1. I've just finished the Sith Warrior story and it's my favorite so far, mind you I've only played the Inquisitor and half of the Imperial Agent and Jedi Guardian. Didn't care much for the Inquisitor story tbh. Agent story might have been a little overhyped, but it's the only one where I actually felt like not min/maxing my dark & light side choices. My Agent was a nice person at heart but put emotional feelings aside when it came to serving the empire & always got the job done. I had fun up to a point, maybe I should keep going though because I'm sure it only gets better.

Female Sith Warrior has the best voiceover imo, so b*adass. Male warrior is good too but not quite as convincing somehow.

I want to make a Vanguard next but everyone says the trooper story is so bland :(

  2. However, Ive heard much about how lackluster the inquisitor story is, and im starting to see that for myself.

This is true, the story is not very thrilling, then it gets worse, then it gets a little better.

Personally though, neither of the stories seem very captivating to me. I've played through half the agent story (which many say is the best) and while it was indeed better than my inquisitor's it didnt blow me away at all. And there are only that many class quests per planet, the sidequests are all the same. So i dunno ..enjoying the actual gameplay of your class is all the more reason to stick with it imo.

  3. I'm trying to level a vanguard atm but dont like it much at all tbh, and Juggernaut seems too much like the warrior from WoW which I've played in and out for years now.

I like assassin tanking tho, loads of fun abilities such as force speed, force pull, stealth, self healing and so on. In pvp your utility makes you not only a great tank but a very good support class as well (with overload, wither & your pull ofc). Being able to CC mobs for yourself with mind trap is also quite handy. But you will find yourself keeping a constant eye on your statusbar for procs and for keeping your shield buff up, so consider that before you choose.

  4. Oh boy... here we go again.

I dont see your prediction powers beeing that useful. I wouldnt make any bets if i were you.

Just the fact you consider Titan to be better, a title that you no NOTHING about, except that it might be in space and first person, says how much your factual analysis skills go.

I will touché you with this: TERA will go free to play to play within a year, GW2 is already free and a sucess but will make many QQ cause theres no end-game and project Titan who knows what that is, and i am gonna love the QQ when they reveal its nothing more than a first/third person shooter MMO. The grass always looks greenier on the other side, doesnt it?

You're missing my point, which is that wow clones aint gonna be the next big thing. Not necesserarily any of those 3 games instead, but rather something along those lines.

Also, I know one thing about Titan; Blizzard are doing it ..thats all I need to know atm.

  5. I dont see swtor having any life beyond a year, tops.

Sure go ahead and compare it with WoW, a 8 year old game. Theres no way that yet another hotkey mmo (that doesnt bring anything new to the table except for tacky voiceovers) is going to live for that long.

GW2, Tera Online, Titan project (and what else the future holds), thats where the future in MMO gaming lies.

  6. Thats what I REALLY did not like. How come, that NEEDED in-game feature is tied to an optional account security-related? Which has its own bugs, and which is NOT avalible to everyone? I dont use fruit-phones and I don't use android-based stuff, I should pay extra to get that trincket to have a NORMAL in-game function, really?

I didnt even know about this until now, but I totally agree. As if exclusive customizations, pets and whatnot wasnt enough ..

  7. also you complaints about cooldowns on abilities, which abilities you should be using, and the resource system honestly dont make any sense whatsoever.

all of the assassin/shadow attacks that do good damage are on cooldowns.

if you cant figure out what abilities to use thats just pitiful. the selection is not that big.

your resource system is just as 'plentiful' as a shadows. if you spam your attacks on a shadow you will run out of energy and be forced to auto attack, news at 11.

seems like you just wanted to make things up to whine about when you got those parts honestly.

Well, actually it made sense to everyone here 'cept you.

On my assassin I'll have to autoattack once or twice before the forcebar is full again. Spamming my skills on vanguard (at least on lower levels) and I'll be forced to use hammershot for the remainder of the battle, unless cell recharge is off CD. Too bad you cant tell the difference between whine and friendly gaming inquiries.

Im still not entirely sold on my vanguard (only in my early 20s though), but like you said yourself; to each his own (atleast you got one thing right :D)

  8. Currently level 15 on my vanguard and I'm already starting to miss my tankasin. First of all the playstyle feels wonky, I dont know wether to run straight up to mobs, stockstrike them once and then spam Ion pulse or stay at a distance blasting away. Another kind of annoying aspect is that almost every ability seems to be on a cooldown. I'm also starting to hate the energy cell system, Im starved all the time and forced to autoattack instead which is fricking boring.

Am I missing something here? Does it get better, and when?

oh, and btw I'm planning to spec into the tanking tree.

  9. I think any mob in the Hoth-level range can drop the pieces.

In all my time playing the game I've never seen a regular mob drop orange gear outside of fp's (I've had purples drop now and then tho), so if that's true the drop rate must be unbelievably low..

  10. Obviously this depends entirely on what you want out of your companion. As an assassin I used Khem a long way into the late thirties, when speccing into the tank tree I switched to Ashara for the dps increase but finally settled on Andronikos. His DPS is great and it looks good having me in the fray and someone in the back blasting away. Sometimes I switch to Talos when soloing hard content.
  11. Yes, the big momma butts on males with robes is definitely a dealbreaker. Why dont they fix this already

Can anyone confirm it only shows on body type 2 males?
