    Please reread my post. I clearly said you can buy the Digital Copy of the game for him or GIFT him the money USING PAY pal (not origin)

     

    The Game Code you get from Origin is NOT tied to your account. They simply email you the code and then you can give him the code. He can set up his own account and enter the code and problem solved.

     

    Origin's Account System and SWTOR's account system are 2 completely different systems.

     

    So if I buy the code on Origin the code isn't unique to the buyer's ID/IP?

     

    I am really trying to avoid buying the code and having it linked with me or say he can't use the the product key because it was registered to someone else.

    Placing a gift order1.Visit the Origin Store

    2.Browse for the game or games you wish to gift.

    3.Add the games you wish to gift to your Shopping Cart.

    4.Click on your Shopping Cart to begin the checkout process.

    5.Before you submit your order, make sure you check the 'This order is a gift' checkbox. This will start the gifting process.

    6.You will need to provide the gift recipient's name and e-mail address.

     

     

    The gift recipient will not be charged.

     

    Review your information and complete your purchase as you usually would.

     

    There's no "This order is a gift" option! :(
