  1. My expectation for this getting fixed any time soon is extremely low. Considering they didn't even fix the Utilities reset bug, an issue that affects every single player in the game, I doubt they have fixing operation loot high on their priority list. I was actually joking that they intentionally buffed Raptus to deal insane damage in DP so that no one could get to council and see the loot is broken. Of course, that proved futile and quite honestly gives them a little too much credit :)
  2. <Hates You>

    The Shadowlands

Imperial 8-man and 16-man Raiding Guild

Hates You is an extremely established progression guild previously on Prophecy of the Five, and have since relocated to The Shadowlands, with every single boss killed in all the setting and difficulties (as of 3.2) this game has to offer. Our goal is to be one of the top raiding guilds in the world, and we will continue to work and maintain that.

We are currently looking to recruit several skilled and experienced raiders into our three raid teams. See below for the details:

    Raid Days/Times:

    Group 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday -- 9pm EST - 12am EST

    Group 2: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday -- 9pm EST - 12am EST

    Group 3: Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday -- 9pm EST - 12am EST

    Current Needs:

    • 1 Healer (Group 2)
    • 1 Tank (Group 1)

    Expectations

    • Know your role to the best possible knowledge
    • Know how to play your class inside and out
    • Know the encounters, possible mechanics and strategies. It helps if you do your own homework and research before raids
    • Always be prepared for a raid, which basically means that you should show up with stims, repaired, and be on time!
    • It goes without saying that you should be min/max'ed regardless of the gear tier that you have, with augments

    How to Apply:

For anyone interested in applying to our guild may do so by submitting an application on our website.

    In-Game Guild Contacts:

Whisper anyone in Hates You and ask to speak to an officer. Feel free to contact us for any general questions about the guild and one of our members will be happy to answer you. We all have a bunch of alts as well, so if those characters are not online feel free to /who Hates and ask one of our members online for an officer.

    • Tanks should use defensive CDs on the flower, especially if the boss is buffed. Powertechs are (ironically) the best CD-oriented tanks for this fight, since they can and should have a CD up for every flower, and both of their big cooldowns are effective on the damage.

Powertechs are not the best CD tanks for this fight...Assassins have way better CDs and are overall better for this fight. Taking the 30% damage reduction utility while stunned makes Assassins perfect choices to grab colors / stand in the flowers. Additionally, Shroud is off cooldown every flower/cross, which is guaranteed 100% damage resistance as compared to PT's Explosive Fuel which is still a % chance. If your group is on the ball with colors, I've gone through the entire fight only needing to use shroud on the crosses.

Our group also uses 1 tank, 3 heals and 4 dps with usually one of those DPS being able to taunt. I've also done that setup without a taunting DPS as an Assassin tank. Basically you stealth out to avoid getting too many stacks. Its very hard to explain the timing on this, I usually stealth out right before the 3rd stack would come out. Because the timing isn't perfect there are times I end up with 3 stacks because my stealth isn't off CD yet. I'm usually good about having a CD up though if I know I'm going to get 3-4 stacks. There are also times when your stacks will fall off naturally due to the flower. Solo tanking without a taunting DPS as an Assassin like this is actually pretty easy if your group is good and you get used to the different situational timings.

  3. <Hates You> Group B is currently recruiting 1 outstanding DPS. Some more info:

    • We're currently 10/10 in 8m HM and will soon be 10/10 in 16m HM with Group A.
    • Our scheduled raid days are Sunday - Thursday 9pm EST - 12am EST. Now that content is on farm, we are going to be doing multiple runs a week so we may not always raid that entire schedule.
    • We're primarily look for a Mercenary, Sniper, or Powertech, however, exceptional DPS who can remain competitive regardless of class is always welcome.
    • Bonus points if you have alts of your main or alts of a different class you can play well. Double bonus points if you have these alts both on Empire and Republic sides. If you do not have any alts, be prepared to level them.
    • If you cannot make our entire schedule but are still interested in raiding with us, submit and application and indicate as much. We may be able to fit you into some of our runs in a given week.

    How-to-Apply

Whisper me in game. Just /who Hates You and look for one of the toons in my signature.

You can also apply on our website: http://hatesyouguild.enjin.com/

  4. Context: I’m the co-raid leader of Hates You B

When the expansion first came out we just came back to raiding as CKN with a very unstable roster with several folks who just weren’t cut out for the new difficulty of HM content. Add in roughly two weeks of non raiding for the holidays and we were just sitting around 3/10. When we decided to merge groups and become Hates You B we cleared 8/10 in just under two weeks with a newly formed group. It took us roughly another two weeks to go 9/10. So overall, even though the content has been out two months, I really view us as about a month into progression. Given that understanding and challenges of forming a new group, I think where we are is pretty reasonable.

My biggest gripe with the new content is how ridiculously weighted it is towards class stacking. This has always been part of progression raiding, but I feel this tier of content has taken it further than its ever been before (excluding gross class imbalances). For high end progression raiders this is less of an issue, but for the casual to semi-hardcore crowd who don’t have people who can swap between 3 different classes of the same role, it makes the content that much harder. I think if Bioware could figure out how to ease up on the benefits of class stacking without nerfing the fights too hard, we’d start to see more people clearing content.

Since you bring it up, how do your sorcs manage mouse droids? Threat drop cooldown? Our sage gets wrecked by them even with force armor and force barrier isn't off CD by the second time he got mice.

In addition to Milas’ earlier suggestions, as a Sorcerer you can self cleanse both DoTs Ruugar puts out (corrosive grenade and fire) so make sure you are doing so asap. Also remember if you use Force Barrier the mouse droids will pick a new target. If you let go of your Force Barrier before the droids explode they will come back to you. Here is my Sorc DPS PoV from that fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWHT3YSpQqE

(Just ignore me completely goofing my opening on Ruugar)

  5. <Cali Killed Nox> is an established Empire progression raiding guild on Prophecy of the Five formed near the release of SWTOR with multiple world firsts and progression kills. After raiding in SWTOR for a significant amount of time, we left to play Wildstar. With the expansion and release of two new raids, we’re back and looking to raid once again in SWTOR.

    About Us

    Guild: <Cali Killed Nox>

    Timezone: Eastern Standard Time (EST)

    Server: Prophecy of the Five

    Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9pm - 12am EST (as needed)

We are a group of highly skilled and experienced players with backgrounds in some of the best progression raiding guilds in the US. All of our members are driven and dedicated to succeeding in PvE content. Although we hold ourselves to high standards, we are an extremely laid back group. We have no tolerance for drama, loot hoarding, or other similar nonsense.

We’re not a big guild with a lot of organized activities; we expect people to show up to scheduled raid times and down content. Outside scheduled raids, our members are often leveling alts, raiding on alts, doing dailies and flashpoints, PvPing or whatever else they like.

    What We’re Looking For

UPDATE 12/19: We are currently recruiting for our 16m raid roster. CKN has always been a 16m raiding guild and once we have a stable roster, we will transition into raiding 16m full time.

    • 1 Tank
    • 2 Tank/DPS or Healer/DPS flex spot
    • 3-4 DPS

We are primarily looking for skilled players interested in progression raiding in HM/NiM content. We are willing to work with players on new toons from the 12xp event. Previous high-end raiding experience is preferred but not required.
