    Hey there!

We are aware of the issue with group queuing, and are looking into it!

-They know. They have known since the 8th of this month. They are looking into it.

This is unacceptable. Please read where I list why. It's a short read.

  2. Dear Developers at BioWare:

The state of group queue in PVP is unacceptable. You have failed to do your jobs in testing code before releasing into the live environment. If this game were a free game in which you did not make money in revenue to pay coders, I could completely understand. However, this is not the case. This game makes money.

I have been paying my dues to this game since it was released and I have been paying to play PVP with friends because that is the aspect of the game I enjoy. Your failure to test and verify that code works before pushing to go live is a testament to your leadership and your developers abilities. It is downright shameful. You may not value your time, however many of us do not wish to sit for 20, 30, 45 minutes per match or have to relog every time a group member has to leave due to no pops or RL because the mission icons are 'greyed out'.

Be a big enough company and admit that you made a mistake, roll back your broken code until it is fixed and do a better job. Your clients should not be your beta testers. You have test servers for that and you *should* have competent developers for your work.

No, this is not an ultimatum post and no I am not going anywhere, but yes, I am going to come onto your forums and ream you a new bunghole for your royal screw up on the group PVP side.

As a side note, your solo PVP works just fine. Good job, you got half of it right.

  3. This has likely been posted many times, yet I will do so again. I will whine and drivel about it because it is a senseless broken mechanic that was working fine for a year. Then all of a sudden a patch comes along and breaks this mechanic. Not completely mind you, but just enough to frustrate the hell out of you during PVP. This is an essential part of a Warriors arsenal and critical component in being a viable part in select warzones.

I am sure the Devs know how it is broken, but just in case it has escaped their notice with the multiple posts surrounding this issue, I shall endeavor to enlighten once again.

Warrior has the Huttball...is running and barely surviving to the pit of the opposing team...warrior LEAPS to an enemy that is what appears to be a foot back from the ledge...warrior falls to the floor below and continues to get wailed on...Warrior backs up and INTERCEDES to a friendly target that is once again a foot or so from the ledge...warrior falls....warrior dies because he is still repeatedly getting beat on...the other team LOL's and carries on with mechanics that DO work properly for THEM (not Leap). Grats on failing your LEAP twice now Juggy. GG.

Lets get this fixed Bioware. If it is now working as intended, then it is now a crappy ability. Either way, not a very good mechanic at this point..

  4. I'm not sure if this is 100% accurate...

For damage it seems that expertise bonus is showing up in your stats. For my bounty hunter and marauder I can go into my character page and look at the "damage" stat for ranged, tech, melee and force respectively .

For example my bounty hunter's ranged page... When I had some pve pieces mixed into my pvp set (level 66 weapons min-maxed for power surge) I could see that I had 16k expertise outside of the warzone. I zone in and my expertise went up to 19k, my total bolstered pvp damage bonus was 56%. However when I swap for the min-maxed pvp conqueror weapons while zoned in... My expertise is maxed, the pvp damage bonus goes up to 60%, but my range damage stat goes down. I think the bonus damage line that is on every page (ranged, tech, melee, and force) is also effected but nothing else changes. So if you look at the damage line on your offensive stats you can gage if a pve piece vs a pvp piece is hurting you or helping you. But you have to be zoned into a warzone to do this.

It has been claimed that at level 66 pve weapons are slightly better than conqueror gear and my experiment supports this. However I have not tested it with the latest bolster or the new pvp weapons. This works for the weapons because bolster factors in weapons., relics. armor. and implants separately. It's not all inclusive. So this is a side effect. I believe people have shown that 72 + weapons get less expertise bolster and are not as good as the pvp weapons.

SO what does this mean. BOLSTER IS THE MOST UNINTUITIVE system I've ever used. You have to zone into the warzone and play with equipping and unequipping gear to figure out what pieces kill your stats and what pieces help your stats.

As I stated, it could be wrong on the numbers. However, no one can deny that by looking at your stats in PVE and in the PVE world, you get a quick reference to what your PVE stats are in said PVE gear.

Flip this around into the PVP world in said PVP gear and it really is anyone guess when looking at your stats what the true stats are. We can all thank Bioware for the confusing way Bolster works. I can only say without a doubt that in end game PVP gear, I will trounce a PVE geared opponent. I am not the best, but I am pretty decent. It will the the truly rare PVE geared person that will get me in a WZ. And in a PVP zone with no bolster. lol.

  5. Till 55, as someone else stated, expertise is useless on any of your gear. Once you hit 55 there comes a breakeven point with your gear that has no expertise to those pieces that do. Say you have two Juggs that are both Rage speced. One is fully Conq geared and one is fully Arkanian geared. The stat difference of course is favored by the Arkanian gear and will show as much in your window while in a warzone.

What most fail to see is the PVP window which adds (60%) bonus to your gear and is NOT reflected in your stats.

So say the two Juggs that are Rage speced go into the WZ and face off. The jugg in Arkanian Gear leaps to said jugg in Conq gear and LOL smashes him for 3K...wait? 3K? Why is this???!?!?! That's the expertise kicking in and pretty much halving the damage of smash. Now take that Conq jugg that just got smashed and he backs up a few feet, leaps in and BOOM, hits the Arkanian Jugg for 5-8K.

While this may not seem like a whole hell of a lot of more damage, PVP moves very quickly and every ounce of expertise you have will bolster your ability to survive and push out damage. Even though that little bolster effect is on in 55 PVP, it's a fallacy. It will give you a base amount of Expertise until you can collect enough gear to surpass the base amount.

In short, yes it's worth it to get the gear for PVP. I could be wrong on a lot of the numbers, I'll concede to that, but you get my point.

  6. Look here Sparty or should I say Mr. Guzzler, You are the love whore here, not I. So l2troll whore

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

You obviously have the wrong person here. I don't charge, therefore I am a Sl*t. Get it right.

  7. Who said it was negative?

All I read was that Rois admitted to being a fat kid who loves cake. :/

Oh boy! Zuhu wants some Spartakus! Here, let me show you the words of the statement you made vs what Rois actually posted!

I am not a fan of pie. I love cake like a fat kid loves cake.

In no way did she say she was a fat kid who loves cake. How can you say calling someone fat isn't a negative? I suppose for some it may be a term of endearment, but I haven't met anyone yet who considers it so.

O wait...my argument is invalid. I called Wrecks fat, it was meant in an endearing way. My apologies.

  8. Just throwing this out there...with all the interrupts/stuns/wtfomgsmacks in the game, it's very difficult to get a nice flow in carnage to deal the kind of damage that Rage can deal. I believe this is why the Devs claim Rage to be the best Burst DPS for Marauders.

That being said, it is easy to avoid a Smash as it's only 5M. Good rule of thumb is to move away from a Leap or use an interrupt/stun.
