    Rolling Tool

    Hey everyone,

    I was tired of the lack of rolling in this game so I made a quick tool a couple weeks ago for loot rolling.

     

    I set up an example page if you guys want to see how it works.

     

    For the Master Looter/Roller

    What everyone else sees

     

    Message me if you want the source files. No DB required, but you will need to set the permission of the "winners.json" file to 777.

    edit: Looks like some people enjoyed the tool. I made some updates this morning to make it a little easier.

     

    -- On the view page

    - most recent rolls up top

    - added a date to when it was rolled

    - (bug) doesn't handle tie numbers well

     

    -- On the Master Looter/Roller page

    - Added a select all feature

    - You can now add players through the url ex: website.com/roller.html?players=bob,tom

    - Added button to generate this url if you added player manually

    - (bug) url does not work well with spaces or special characters

    3 week in a row on HM and Normal we spam as fast we can using the lowest number of clicks. On 2 of the "kills" we didn't even get to the 1 elite spawn. If you see the 2 elite spawn you're going way too slow.

     

    This is usually our strategy, but as of the patch, when we complete the second or third puzzle the whole thing becomes unclickable for both north and south.

     

    We tried the strategies people mentioned here but those failed as well.

    We will be doing more in depth testing tonight with this.

     

    From reading through all these posts, there is no set way in doing it.

     

    People are swearing by NSSN.

    People are swearing by SSSS.

     

    We've tried these and then some with no luck.

    Hopefully BW can confirm if this is a bug.

     

    p.s. this issue has only sprung up for us since the patch yesterday

    ROFL, do you really think anyone is going to care about this 5 months from now? Nerds will forget their rage the minute they get their invite and start playing.

    The only thing that is more annoying than the childish whining and complaining is the childish whining and complaining about the whining and complaining. Your self-righteous chiding does nothing to ease the disappointment that people are trying to express, it only agitates the situation further. If you don't empathize or understand why people are doing what they are doing then why don't you just keep it to yourself instead of cluttering up the forum with your stern lecturing.

     

    And aren't you doing the same thing right now? gg
