No OP, you are not the only one. However, I find the tone and the nature of your post to be combative and also lacking in viable solutions to fix what you describe to be a problem. For me, I am used to the holy trinity in modern MMO's and for all the games I have played in the genre, I enjoy their versions of raiding dungeons, etc. Could I imagine it being different? Yes. Do I want it to change? Honestly no. The reason being is that this genre is ingrained with these aspects and changing or creating new systems will simply not attract the crowds you think it will.
A case in point is WildStar, a game that experimented with new designs such as twitch combat and other cartoony mechanics. The response? It was thoroughly rejected, meaning the old way still works.

I genuinely feel that the OP has a bit of a vendetta. I mean, I honestly get some of his gripes they are valid. But, not only did he already suggest this in the suggestion box, but here he is doing it again. Mate the truth is, for all your issues with the game, the sub-requirement is here to stay, and rightfully so.

Hey all,
Long-time player founder etc. Came back to the game to check the new stuff, now one thing I can't figure out for the life of me is how to access heroic abilities or even to drag them to my hotbar. Can anyone explain? I do know to use them requires a heroic moment, but I don't see the abilities themselves. I say this because I am trying to figure out a strategy to complete the Heroic 4 Dreadseed and its difficult.

Been asking since they implemented it years ago. Don’t know what they are so afraid of. Maybe they know it’s rubbish and don’t want people to prove it?
Trix, come on with all due respect you cant simply say the reason they wont show it is because we the players may prove it wrong or right. It is rather (probably with most other internal things) that it is a internal metric that they would NEVER reveal.
Also quite frankly, why would they? I mean I get what you and the OP are saying, but aren't you advocating for them to reveal internal polices? Isn't that the same as asking how many players spend what about of CM coins?
I am just trying to understand here. It is not an attack.

Light sided Sith in this game are literally that. They use the light side of the force. We are shown/told this ingame. The warrior quest on Tattoine at the hidden pool is a good example. We get told more powerful Sith will sense the light within us. Inq campaign, the Jedi on Alderaan will say he cannot sense the taint of the dark side. This has nothing to do with your ideals and everything to do with the way you are using the force.
Light sided Sith are essentially Jedi with looser morals and better fashion sense.
Some people seem to conflate ideals such as honour, pragmatism, compassion with the light. You can have all of these qualities and still be dark sided. Lana and Marr spring to mind. Although Lana does seem to get a bit white washed. Let's not forget she wanted to cut a Jedis head open and experiment on her brain. Marr's face is said to be so twisted by the dark side that a Moff went insane when he saw it.
I completely disagree with this. I recently made a new Sith Jugg and I am playing lightside and its not about using lightside powers at all, but rather having a more level headed, pragmatic approach to power and influence. That is not say that he is afraid to punish those who deserve it, he just does not murder or not use a resource for the sake of it.
So yeah no, he is no Jedi and has morals and is ever a Sith. He just uses everything he has not just "moar power moar"

You have to purchase the penthouse with the GS tokens (I believe it takes 8) and you can only purchase one this season and then the other next season as there is only 15 tokens per season.
Ok thanks for the help. But, how do I go about getting more tokens to make my purchase?

Okay, so clearly I am a sub right? Why if I approach the penthouse stronghold vendor its saying I am not subscribed? And is the only way to get a deed through the seasons?

I want to share with you my new idea. Many of us create some chars, make max lvl, unlock all things, spend a lot of time and credits etc etc.
After some time we get that not nice feeling : omg thats not this what I like, what I was expecting
This Jedi Sage is not good for me, Jedi Shadow was better or this vanguard I like more that commando and in this moment start my idea Appearance Modification -- why not add there 1 more option ?? Like change Jedi Sage to Jedi Shadow, Vanguard to Commando etc. etc. for abo players for free or for some minimal cc price. Write what you think.

Once you make a selection on which class you want to be, it is permanent. You will not be able to change from say Commando to Vanguard, it simply wont happen.
Also if and only if they ever found a way to do this, it certainly won't be a minimal cc price. Instead, it will be extremely expensive and rightfully so.

I'm not suggesting impossible, im suggesting a tweak in difficulty by a tad bit. It's boringly easy, sorry.

So, to answer your question I can be a Grey Sith by virtue of what ties into my own personal morality. More so, alot of Empire light sided options are not by virtue of them being Lightside, good options. Instead, they are pragmatic options that would ultimately help the Empire in the long run.
I will further explantion, I don't like the some of the light sided options within the Sith Inquisator storyline because I do not believe in reforming the Empire, I rather believe the Empire should use its resources better. I also play my characters with my own headcannon in mind and as such being Grey can work to that.
However with all that I have mentioned, I do have some characters where I stick completely to the Darkside or the Lightside because those characters were built that way. I know I rambled a bit, but thats my thoughts on the matter.

I just hate to see them just standing there on my ship or in my stronghold routed into one position,
isn't there a way BW can make it easy for users to input a sequence of emotes, actions, a path to walk, responses they can say when they see you, that match their personality (if they have one), etc
would be so cool especially on strongholds, not only do you place decorations you can also make your stronghold really feel alive.
Decoration hooks can access certain emotes for NPCs, like a bar can initiate a sequence of pouring drinks and drinking as Pcs sit down etc.. let players spend the time determining what theses are dong, you just need to make it possible for them to program.
Would you mind eleborating on what you mean by programing? If you are asking for our companions to do idle tasks like you are describing, then yes I would be all for it. If however you are asking for more of a role in say OPS then I am going to have decline that.
But otherwise, nice idea.

Hi Guys,
So, I just came back to the game to level alts, mess around in my SH play PvP etc.
Now, I am taking my Jugg through the Enternal Throne storyline to see the different outcomes and strangly on the start of the chapter where the alliance formally meets, the game hangs and it has not done at anytime before. Anyone got any ideas?

One million credits seems like a difficult amount of money for me to attain, but I see items like weapons, enhancements, and gear being sold upward of 50 million. How much is it actually worth, especially when contrasted against currencies from other games (such as Runescape or WOW?)
It's nothing. Take it from me, I just got back to the game and have around an excess of 120 million at my disposal and it will barely help me buy the gear I need for one character.

First of all, I am sorry for your loss. Now I know this may sound cruel, but what do you expect them to do? I am sure due to the pandemic there have been many losses of life that have played the game. The best thing for you to do, is honor your friend in your own way and if you wish share it here. But to ask the devs to do it is unfortunately unfeasible.

I have not been around in a good few years and due to my job letting me go temporally because of the pandemic, I have some more time and got an itch to play Swtor.
So, tell me, how is it? What should I know? Also I am still waiting for the game to install and It is 100% but it is the streaming launcher, must I delete Bitraider?

Because I have plenty of disposable income so I don't mind helping friends raid. If I'm paying, I might as well voice my displeasure, especially considering this and Battlefront are the only recently released Star Wars games I'll get to play in the near future.
EDIT: That also makes me laugh that people are claiming this isn't a hugbox when you can't even post here if you aren't subbed to the game. Also its only trolling if you post specifically to get a rise out of others, I'm posting my sincere thoughts on the game, I didn't want to believe the TORtanic hype and tried to like it, but it really did flop badly.
It is debatable if your thoughts are sincere or not, but assuming they are then you should know that you are not the only one to claim the game flopped or use the tired phrase Tortanic. The game has had MANY issues but it is still striving to be better and that is worthy of a degree of praise. But no one on here will honestly say the game is flawless or not give critisim. Instead, they will be constructive first.

Hi everyone,
Some of you may remember me some may not but I’ve played this game since beta and stopped around 2015.
I’ve resubbed not necessarily to play the game, but to look at the community for guidance on a very sensitive topic in my life right now. I realise, I may open myself to redicule but, I feel comfortable talking here.
“Deep breath” so my fiancé cheated on me and left me for the other guy. I’ve been going through mourning and moments of severe depression as I feel it was all my fault. I’m currently trying to keep busy at work, eating better, and not thinking too much. But, I slip up and start crying which feels endless.
So I am asking anyone with experience to give me insights into how to battle the dark thoughts and how start healing.

I have played for a couple years. I feel there is too many stuns in pvp. People don't get to fight because they get chain stuned. I also would like to see a pvp server set up where the planet cities are controlled by guilds can be defended and attack but large masses of players. I would like to suggest that snipers have stealth abilitie. Snipers are ghost killers.
Eh your suggestion sounds very similar to the cites in SWG which I can assure you won't happen. Also your sniper suggestion to have stealth would make them extremely overpowered and mess up balance even further. But, in regards to stuns, resolve has been worked better but chain stunning still exists unfortunately.
