  1. 1. Some mini-games like pazaak, swoop racing etc. Maybe with the option of playing both against fellow players or the A.I. People should be able to be spectators for a race and maybe even placing bets.

    2. Togruta and Nautolan as playable species.

    3. Appearance tab, kind of like that in LOTRO - you can make an outfit you like and save it over your actual useful-but-fugly gear. I don't want to look like a clown in the endgame, and it would be nice if my new (male) Inquisitor didn't wore skirts.

Totally agree with #1. How about all cantinas having Pazaak games that we can gamble our money against the house or other players? Would definitely be a way for people to make money other than crafting, selling GTN.

  2. I feel your pain. I am having real trouble with the Jedi shadow skill tree, lvl 22 and I am just starting to figure out what I want out of my character. I am 90% Balance by the way and use Force technique. Good luck.
  3. Totally disagree. Love headshot. Charge foe, dirty kick + headshot + pistol whip = lots of quick damage. I never use cheap shot because it does less damage and shares the cooldown with headshot. Bonus points for the fun visual of a guy on the ground taking one to the head organized crime style.
  4. The LFG tool is just an easier way to get groups together while you are doing other things. For using it you can get bonuses/commendations but the actual dailes/weekly for doing flashpoints/operations/etc still have to be picked up at the fleet (before) so you can get the credit for those when you complete the flashpoints and then get those bonuses/commendations. So in the end you may:

Use LFG to do flashpoint = commendations

    complete flashpoint = commendations

complete daily (if that flashpoint was eligible) = commendations

complete weekly (if the flashpoint was eligible) = commendations

  5. I think people are taking or wanting to take this legacy a bit to far.. Legacy was never intended to make your alts anything less than an individual..

Just because your main has done something and got the benefits, doesn't mean that should be automatically passed down to your alts..

No.. Datacrons or shards found by your main should not be given to your alts.. Your alts did not find them nor do what was needed to get them.. If you want the datacron on your alt, then you are going to have to do it the old fashioned way just like your main did..

Maps.. Again, your alt has not explored a region, then it shouldn't be shown on his map until he does..

What is next?? I did all this stuff to get this mount?? Now I want this mount on my alt too?? Hey!! My main has a full campaign set.. Why can't I give it to my alt as well?? I want my BM gear!!

Come on guys.. Play the game.. The game shouldn't play any less because you are on your alt.. That is not what legacy is for or what it means..

I would disagree with your opinion on datacrons. I think the "concept" of legacy (passing down knowledge or materials) to your heirs would exactly fit the concept of datacron locations on the map. Think about it, your intrepid character spent his whole career trying to find some of these relics and he is now passing on this knowledge to his heirs to use as they see fit. I am not saying they should auto get the bonuses or anything and with the difficult nature of acquiring some of them there is still no guarantees, They still have to go and get them. But the tedious nature of finding these things makes it an actual legacy perk I would want.

As to the maps I see no reason to give those up, through the normal course of the game you hit 75% of it anyway, its up to each character to decide if they want to explore the other 25%.

  6. If there is one thing I would be addressed in this game are the datacrons. Specifically why the tedious placement of some requiring "uncharted" like abilities that this game is NOT about. To me datacrons are those cool things you find from exploring the nooks and crannies for the various worlds. And while a certain percentage do follow this tenet there are quite a few that are stupidly difficult to get to. Add to that, currently every character you create has to go through this every time, going to the internet to find them on each planet. So since you guys probably are not going to consider actually moving some of these here is my suggestion.

datacron legacy - unlocked between level 5 or 10 legacy, cost (whatever) Bonus - all characters in your legacy in the same faction will have any datacrons already found by one of your characters will have its location marked on that planets world map (add a filter on the list next to vendors, et al.).

So my level 50 republic guy has spent hours finding 10 datacrons on various planets. My new level 1 republic guy can start on ord mantell check his world map and walla there is that pesky datacron I barely remember acquiring.

Datacron legacy stage 2 at about level 15 -20 - would unlock locations of all datacrons whether you have found them or not.

    Thanks

  7. I would say this has been my biggest disappointment with the smuggler story. The payouts for our efforts are minuscule compared to the dialog that is offered. Even worse are the supposed "extra" credits an NPC offers to give if you do something else (usually dark side). I did this a couple of times early because I was playing my smuggler being "just about the money" but after a couple of useless payouts not worth the dark side points and negative companion modifiers I mostly quit that line of playing.

We should be the richest class in this game. More money, less gear I say.

  8. Scrappers can be played as master tacticians; CC to divide and conquer, sneak to position for the best attack angle, carefully coordinate with your companion to ensure the most synergistic attack pattern.

    Mobs will die.

That is not what I do.

    My attack pattern goes thusly:

    1. Select group of mobs, preferable close together
    2. Run at them screaming invectives, something that is both witty, charming and yet decidedly deadly. I normally go with "Raaaaaaaghhhhhh!!!!"
    3. When you get close enough for them to realise that yes, you are indeed charging them, throw a grenade at the guy in the middle
    4. Run directly into the explosion, following the bouncing body of your chosen target. Keep going "Raaaaaaaghhhhhh!!!!"
    5. Once in melee range slap the guy in the face with your gun so he knows who the hell he should not be messing with, just in case the point blank grenade didn't already tip him off
    6. Having achieved the psychological advantage exploit the upperhand by punching Mr Sucks-to-be-you in the face.
    7. At this point your opponent should have the decency to die gracefully at your feet but if not that's something that a quickshot to the head can soon cure
    8. So, three seconds in, you've bludgeoned some poor bugger to death and his friends are now shooting at you or seriously in need of a new pair of trousers. Possibly both. Keep going "Raaaaaaaghhhhhh!!!!"
    9. You can take a quick quarter second about now to assess who's standing and decide if you want to throw another grenade before moving on to the shooting and the fisticuffs
    10. By now Corso will have distracted one of the villains with his uncouth farmboy ways and his tendency to shoot people with high powered rifles. If you can quickly manuever behind Corso's target for a lovely scattergun to the derriere do so but remember; if a quickshot to the head gets the job done then go for it.
    11. Move on to lucky number three with a kiss my gun, kiss my fist, kiss the dirt combo
    12. Anybody still left standing at this point can be punched in the face till they are dead. Yourself and Corso are excluded.
    13. Check that no exploded bodyparts have got caught in your teeth, lekku or horns and then heal someone with a bit of dodgy underworld medicine
    14. Exploit the moment to put a pugnacious zing into your step and get ready to go back to 1.

At higher levels it may be necessary to fall back to using tactics but going "Raaaaaaaghhhhhh!!!!" can get you a long way. Remember, bruises heal, chicks dig scars but glory lasts forever :)

That may be the funniest thing I have ever read in a forum. Thanks :)

  9. Since I cant find an answer anywhere... How does the legacy weapon kit work? Is my main character supposed to use it? Are they supposed to give it unopened to an alt? If so will the weapon always be useful? What level does the alt have to be? What happens when you use the kit?

    Any info would be welcome.

    Thanks

  10. Finally got enough money to train for speeders. Now where can I buy one (I am on Tatoonine currently)?

And on a totally unrelated side note, you would think a post generator on a Star Wars forum would have Star Wars stuff pre-programmed into the spell check :D
