As someone who plays DPS exclusively I agree with you. Take my heals and give me more damage abilities. If I have to end up healing as a DPS then something terribly went wrong in the PVP/Op

I am not the best PVPer in the game and will never claim to be, but I can hold my own. In the time I have been apart of this game since it's launching I have never seen PVP more broken than it is now. Ok, I understand that Jugs/Guards and Sin/Shadow can be tanks. I also get that they can be DPS. But seriously, why in the heck would you Devs allow a DPS spec'd player to be able to guard someone....especially in PVP. What is the point in having specialty trees if people can do the best of both worlds. I was in a PVP match yesterday against a group of 2 guardians and 2 shadows....ALL of them were marked DPS....guess what; they were ALL guarded. This is seriously some screwed up thinking on the part of the Devs, when you don't even need to be in tank spec to throw guard on someone...you may as well give guard to every class if you plan to allow this atrocity to continue.

Do the armor sets we get in the Dark vs Light packs every unlock to trade to our other characters. For example, on my juggernaut for this event I got the Satele Shan Upper Body Armor, i went and bought the pants and bracers, but didnt get the boots. Now on my sorc I got the packs for the Legacy lvl and got the Satel Shan Lower Body Armor set, which effectively gives me all the pieces for the Satele Shan armor set but since the boots are on one toon and the rest of the armor on another and I cant trade them between my legacy how can I unlock the armor set in collections without hopefully getting the boots again or finding a boot seller who we all know will charge an insane amount?

The helm is purchaseable on imp fleet or dromand kass market area... the vendor that sells lvl 8 moddable gears has it as a sorc starter helm now, lvl 8.
As for the saber, I don't see any way to get it at this time.
The only problem with the Initiate's Headgear from the lvl 8 item vendor on fleet is that it does not modify the voice as though you are wearing a helmet. Don't get me wrong it is a near visually perfect alternative to Kallig's Countenance but I love the sound difference from no helmet and helmet

Thanks for pointing that out

I plan on doing the same thing for the other three Imperial classes as well

Ok so I decided that I wanted to quickly raise Khems influence. What better way I thought to myself than to use Black Talon. Here is a breakdown of the conversations. I included the Khem Val disapproves choices as well because they still increase your influence with him. Not sure if this factors into it but I want to also let it be know that during these runs I have a total of a 30% increase to my influence gained from conversations through Legacy Persuasion III. This guide will list the character that triggers the conversation followed by the choices. If I discovered that more than one choice provides influence I have given both in this guide. If you use this and you have the legacy persuasion 3 increase you should come out of this flashpoint with a total of 7,150 influence for Khem and 200 DS points

I dont know if many of you remember it but, this was the same complaint that people had when the com limit was 2,000

If you are full immortal then it should take a long time to kill mobs yourself because you are supposed to be able to take a pounding, not dish one out. As for a hybrid build, if you are going to be a tank I wouldn't. But if you are dead set on hybrid build I would suggest Immortal and Rage

I played through this class to 55 and when I got to the Jaxo story the decision wasn't hard at all for me. I am a 10,000 dark trooper so I decided to.........
Kill Jaxo and save the prisoners. Yeah I took a LS hit but in all seriousness I wanted to kill her because I had my fun with her fading to black a few times and now it was time to cut her loose.

6/10 only because you didn't rate the name of the guy above you.
One of my alts is called Seventhhammer. He is a Human Juggernaut tank that is pure DS. For those that do not know Seventh Hammer was part of the gods in EQ.

I don't think it's Revan because Revan dies at the end of Foundry. As much as I don't want to think of Lana being the mysterious evil she mentions I can't help but think she is. Which will make my Sorc very sad as she had her eyes set on fading to black with Lana

I would also like to see the title of General added to the Trooper too. I am not sure why, after finishing the class story and saving the galaxy (thats not a spoiler as all pub side toons save the galaxy) do I not get promoted from Major to General????

In most cases, it's best to get your obroan helmet, chest, legs, and boots first, for the PVP abilities which may or may not be a big deal depending on your class and spec.
The main hand and off-hand are the primary targets for purchase first. Once he has those he needs relics. Telling him to get the chest and pieces like that is a waste of time until he has the weapons and relics.
-
BiS for a Sniper MH is PVE 41/72/69/66. Don't waste comms buying PvP one if you have the credits for that build or anything close. Trust me, buy relics or set boni. No other PvP gear can replace the percent increase(set boni), 1200 power, 600 main stat boost.
Dude seriously???? In 55 PVP, PVE gear SUCKS. He needs the PVP weapons because those give him the biggest boost to his expertise at +191 Expertise for his main hand and off hand for a total of 382 out of the max 2018 expertise. If he wants to even consider doing ranked pvp or even continuing 55 pvp and having fun he needs every piece to be pvp.
-
I'm about to hit level 54, and I've got 2500 ranked coms. Should I try to save up for the brutalizer sniper rifle, or should I spread it around to get more items first?
You first need to purchase a full set of oboran BEFORE you get Brutalizer as you need to trade in the oboran piece to get the corresponding brutalizer piece. Now when I was going for my pvp gear my guild suggested this purchase phase:
1. Main Hand
2. Off-hand
3 & 4: Relics
5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11: Head, Chest, Gloves, Belt, Boots, Pants, Bracers (No particular order)
12: Ear piece
13 & 14: Implants

Premades DO NOT ruin the fun of WZ's whether they are in 55 or 10-54. What DOES ruin the fun is people who quit at the first sign of trouble in the match. I have been in several matches (ill just use Civil War as an example) where if the team doesn't capture 2 turrets within 30s-1 minute people start to leave saying the match is unwinable. That ruins the WZ. Or perhaps people who just want to whine about how good they are but are sucking because of the team is ruining the WZ experience for all.
As for 55 pvp, what I think ruins it is the fact that 55 pvp gear cannot be purchased until you reach lvl 55. So you have to go through a curbstomping (unless you heal) before you can earn enough pieces to be successful. Now if 55 gear could be purchased at say lvl 53 but not worn till 55 i think that would see a lot more involvement in 55 WZ's

Dispute this. I dare you.

The good old PVE/RP servers don't know how to PVP comment. I expected better, try harder next time.
Agreed.
Too many people, Especially those from Jung Ma, Bastion, and Pot5 seem to think they are PvP gods. Ebon Hawk has guilds devoted solely to pvp. I also am working on a character who is going to level from 1-55 doing nothing but pvp (1-10 is GSF only and 10-55 is GSF and ground PVP) and I play on EH

I don't see why a DPS who has some heal abilities can't pop a heal or two on themselves during a fight. When my guild runs DF/DP/TFB/SV/TC I play as my madness sorc. I am straight DPS BUT when I notice my healers are healing the tanks and I can pop a heal or two on myself to make their job a little easier I do. There is nothing wrong with it.
-
Well I have played on Ebon Hawk ever since they did the forced server transfers. I am kinda growing tired of the whole play through aspect with nothing new happening. So my friend and I figured, hey why not play on a pvp server to add the new element of wherever whenever fighting
-
That's what I was thinking but didn't know for certain.
Best equipment specs for a PVE madness sorc
in Sage / Sorcerer
