  1. Its a weekend and not xmas or new year so everyones probably got nothing better to do then play

Every other server is at standard and Elysium is never on full. I have played constantly for three weeks and have never been queued. There is something wrong.

  2. We have never gone over stardard load and now we are full!!!

This can't be, did everyone decide to join our server...lol

Been in que for an hour already!

    Something must be wrong....

I was thinking the exact same thing. It is never at Full, ever.

  3. would making a torrent with the games disc and upload it to a torrent site be allowed?

just thinking that it would help out those people who are having problems downloading the whole game via the launcher. i have the bandwidth to share it. i have 400 gig data transfer a month.

just not sure if it is against the TOS. would you guys want to see a torrent?

Why would someone need a torrent if there is Origin?

  4. Just a question, will BW still give me a grace period once I can play again? Week and a half ago I could play 30+FPS every where. Since some patches my FPS is at 7-12fps and warzones now are not playable at all for me 0.5FPS-7FPS down from 20-25FPS. My specs is above the recommended, seems these patches have done more bad then good.

So once this is fixed will I receive a grace period?

Second rule of the internet ... someone always wants something for free.

  5. you want the game to tell you when your going to pull aggro?

How much easier do you want to make the game?

Gee, mister. I did not realize I was in the presence of someone has elite as yourself. Look, it was a suggestion considering the fact that one cannot see at a greater angle without zooming out all the way.

  6. My character is a level 20 Sith Juggernaught. Last night I got a chest piece that has a hood on it. But when equippened it just hangs down my back, I'd like to put it on and be

problem is, I looked everywhere and I couldn't find a way to put that hood on.. Am I missing something or do I have to wait for a head slot peice to have a hood on it?

I am going to assume this is a legitimate question. Yes, you have to wait for a head slot piece to have a hood on.

  7. the queues are totally insane, some people need to share, i call for an 8 hour auto boot.

once the play has played 8 hours he will be booted from the server and forced to requeue.

this will give others a chance to play, and you know allow those greedy mofos to move around abit before they die from deep vein thrombosis.

Super idea. I did not want to finish that quest anyway. Dude, if your server is overpopulated, find one that is not.

  8. Hello there everyone!

Some time ago while surfing the vasts of internet sites i have stumbled upon news about SWTOR being in development, with every year passed I was more excited to know its going to be the MMO that i wanted to see. The little geek in me was jumping with joy when i gathered money to order my CE and almost exploded when i actually gotten my hands on it. TOR by far now is the best MMO Ive played it has structure it has story and the epic feeling your the bad-*** of the galaxy. Unfortunately when the EGA started and i clicked PLAY i was introduced into a world of pain...

My laptop may not be the gaming monster but should be able to run TOR on low if not on medium settings. What i saw was a slide show. Since that day i looked for an answer to this question what is going on. I know there are many more people having the same issues with more powerful computers and setups, I know that are many work arounds but most of them are temporary solutions.

My point being why there is no CS or Dev response to it. Most of the issues have been addressed some of them are even being "sticky" on the CS forum with all the suggestions how to fix it or work around it while the team works on patching it. And still this bug that is game-breaking is not addressed at all it almost feels like Bioware is absolutely ignoring this elephant in the room.

Pleas don't get me wrong. I love the game (at least im trying the hardest), I love all of Biowares work. But please do explain why this is still groomed under the carpet.

Im not asking for anything like an instant fix or a magic cure for cancer. Im asking for the acknowledgment that this BUG exists and is making a lot of people unhappy and angry. This keeping us in the dark is not helping at all but fueling the growing paranoia about Bioware bot giving a damn about US players who they on the other hand require to PAY for the game and PAY for a subscription.

Excuse me but if I already payed for this product witch at this points is in a dire need of repairs can we at least be treated as customers and get a response?

Please all of you guys who are on the same boat as me with the unbearable FPS drops and slide like experience please, express your concern about this situation so that Bioware maybe notice us and will take action.

We as the customers at the receiving end of a service that is TOR should be heard or at least assured there are steps taken to make the required repairs.

Don't give up! Lets unite and make strong statement to the devs!

So you are trying to play SWTOR on a non gaming laptop and somehow, it is Bioware's fault?

  9. Again, Einstein, it could very well be that the stupid player you are talking about rolled on a server when that server had no queue, but that high loads developed subsequently. Did that ever cross your mind?

Then you grow up and roll a character on a lower population server. The fact that people are gravitating toward certain server names in not Bioware's fault.

  10. I dont mind waiting in a queue as you guys are still balancing the servers and such and we are still in the middle of the launch. I like the game, it got me hooked BUT can we expect some kind of compensation? I am not talking about money lol but it must be perfectly possible to trace the total queuetimes per account for example and give us 2 weeks extra playtime, since time is money in our hands, we eventually are losing some money here, no?

forgive me for my bad english

    3rd rule of the internet

Someone is always trying to get something for free.

  11. Like the title says....

Can the large majority of us who are having ridiculous fps/lag spike/game clunkiness problems at least get an acknowledgement that you guys know about it and are working on a fix?

Example: Playing the game perfectly on high settings 60+fps for a couple of hours... then the game gets slower and slower

Example: Warzones..... seriously? How can I be at 60+ fps and then go into a warzone and all of a sudden my fps drops to 5?? I didn't buy this game to watch a Star Wars slide show.

Example: Complete random FPS spikes and drops which changing the graphics settings have absolutely no effect on. Set settings to max 30 fps... Set settings to absolute bottom 25 fps??

Before people come in to flame.... Yes we all know there are some of you experiencing no problems at all (or don't want to say you are or don't realize you are), and you have a crappy/high end rig. Those of us experiencing problems don't really care that a FEW of you aren't having any problems. Great for you here's a cookie.

There is a problem client side causing some serious fps lag. I just want to know if BW is at least going to acknowledge it and let us know if a solution is on the way?

My Rig: Not the greatest but runs most everything I throw at it on high

AMD Phenom 9600 (TLB Patch deactivated for maximum speed)

    GTX 460 Nvidia

    8 Gigs Ram

I find it incredibly hard to believe I could run Rift, which in my opinion was a better looking (though less fun) game, at High/Ultra mix and can't seem to get this game to run correctly.

Love the game so far, but would love to have a stable smooth experience and be able to PVP at all.

    Boo Hoo Hoo

  12. There are three Empire Players on Belsavis, on Anchorhead US (A "FULL" Server with a lengthy queue). THREE

This means I cannot do Flashpoints that are my level, because there literally are not enough people. This is a major issue, because there are also not enough quests to level me properly, at 40 everything I see is at least 42 now, and part of an orange quest, that takes longer to trudge through than all the yellow quests from before.

I understand that somebody gave the false notion that LFD killed WoW's "community" (which was never great), and that standing in the Imperial Fleet for 2 hours at a time going "LF 1 Tank, 1 DPS for X then good to go" was going to build a strong "community"; but now that the game is actually Live, it's time to base ourselves once more in reality.

If there aren't enough quests, then you're forced to level by either Instances, or grinding. Since I can't do instances, as there are a grand total of 2 other people my level, I'll have to resort to grinding once these Orange quests run out and I'm left with nothing but Red quests who's mobs are 5 levels higher than me. Grinding is not fun, or a good method of leveling in 2011

Honestly, I'd even be willing to concede, and have the group finder Server-Only; at least then I could do the Flashpoint that's one below my optimal one, and get reasonable Experience; better than nothing.

The current statis is unacceptable; again, there are THREE PEOPLE on Belsavis, I can spam chat all day but that won't change the fact that there simply aren't enough people

    They are working on it.

  13. A week or two for casual play is pretty reasonable, mmo's are focused on end game not leveling game, thus leveling should be fun and enjoyable, but not take absurd durations thats all. Players playing constantly all day every day could do it in a few days i bet or less.

Are we playing the same game? This is not DCUO or Champions Online. I have been playing my current character for twelve hours and am level 16.

  14. God i hate ignorance, sorry no offense but you just have no idea what you're talking about lol.

"" On the other hand, there are high-level players who are focused on bringing one character to level 50, and those guys are going to be our main focus for new content. We're going to be producing new flashpoints, new operations, new warzones, and even new single-player content for our highest leveled characters. We already have multiple teams working on that as we speak, and they've got a bunch of flashpoints and operations in the can."

They are adding level 50 content soon. Duh. That does not mean Bioware is catering to people that powerlevel in two days.

  15. DCUO could hit cap in a day if you wanted to sit and pound it out... point here is that taking 2-3 months to hit max level isn't fun...innovative or otherwise enjoyable. Most of us want to sit down, enjoy story and get to max level with in a week or two at best. Those power level are cheating themselves out of enjoyable gameplay and the amazing story.

problem isn't the game it is people spamming spacebar to skip all cut scenes and just pushing random choices so can get to end game content asap. Going to be super sad when finish all content and nothing left to do...

meanwhile by time most of us hit end game, and do raid content new raids will be ready or announced.

A week or two? Are you serious? Most people to not level cap in less then three to four weeks.
