No idea. I always reload right where I logged in my SH (and I almost always log in my SH unless I am doing something on a lowbie, then I log in the Cantina or right where I leave off because I refuse to pay to Quick Travel to a Cantina).
Why do you even ask? I've never seen it, but if I did, I wouldn't care one bit. So what if you spawn at the entrance or off on a balcony somewhere? What does this change or matter?
Because if you want to quickly login for example to check GTN listings ... if you are loaded in at the access point it can be a pain in the a$$ to run through your stronghold.

From my personal experience:
- If you use the default access point, you'll be positioned where you were when you logged off when you log in.
- If you use one of the alternate access points, you'll be positioned at that entry point each time you log in.
Thanks ... that's seems to work for some strongholds but not Copero 😒

How come on some of my strongholds my character loads to the position they were at when they were logged off, but other strongholds reset the character's location to the access point when loading?

There was no reputation for season 1. It was new with season 2.
I guess that's why I had no problem hitting it ... lol. I just know that the current rep is the only one I don't have maxxed out.
-
Oops ... I just started a thread asking this question. I guess I should have scrolled down.
Will there be a way to earn reputation after the event ends?I haven't played as much recently, I'll probably end the season 5-10 levels short, so I'll buy those. What will drive me crazy as a completionist is that I'm going to be about 30,000 rep points short.
I don't remember the mechanism in Season 1, but I didn't have any problems maxxing out reputation in Season 1.

lol, cute that you think how long you've played somehow makes you entitled to something
But for fun, let's do a little comparison. You can get a relative approximation of when someone started from their member number, which increases sequentially
You=2236705
Me=1709459
Oh dear, now isn't that interesting.
So back to the simple solution for you I guess. If you find the features of 7.0 "unacceptable", then don't play till they are "acceptable", which is slated for 7.1 by the metrics you provided.
My user # is 3,198 … does that entitle me to call 7.0 total garbage?

Totally agree OP. I have 21 alts & only thing I really do in the game any longer is run conquests with them & gear them up. Not exactly exciting but it fits the amount of time I now have to play the game. I get enough enjoyment to keep my sub in tact (I’m a continuous sub since day two of early access). But honestly, I don’t see anything worthwhile in this “expansion”.

I don't mind SoV. I hate the second part of EoO with the stupid shades.
X1000000000. All the stupid trash mobs in EoO are so tiresome. The final fight is bad too TBH … a lot of fluff, but no real danger of ever dying.

Thank you for finally adding this much requested armor set ... such a great suprise when I opened the Cartel Market today. Now I have nothing left to buy in this game ...

Read. It. Carefully.
A Sith Inquisitor is not the same as a Sith Sorcerer. A Trooper is not the same as a Commando under this new system.
The new system will break the link between advanced classes ("combat styles") and base classes (Trooper, Sith Inquisitor). A Sith Inquisitor will be able to choose to become a Marauder, Juggernaut, Assassin, Sorcerer or their light sides counterparts if their alignment works. But what they can't do is become an Assassin who wields two lightsabers. Or a Sorcerer who wields a dualsaber.
Again, the link between story classes (Trooper, Smuggler, Consular, Knight, Warrior, Inquisitor, Bounty Hunter and Agent) is broken up so that every force user can choose all force wielding advanced classes and all tech users can choose tech wielders. What you cannot do based on the current system is wield other weapons than the advanced class can right now. What you will be able to do is be a Jedi Knight ("story class") that wields a dualsaber because they are a Shadow or Assassin as their combat style.
What you won't be able to do is be a Jedi Knight that is a Telekinetics Sage while wielding a saberstaff. You can't mix and match abilities from different combat styles, nor can you take a different weapon than the combat style (advanced class) has right now. A Sith Assassin is always going to use a saberstaff.
For the most part, I think you are correct; however, you don't seem to be taking into consideration base class abilities; some of which are class-defining. If you wanted to be a Jedi Kinght with a Telekinetic Combat Style ... do you retain the base abilities from JK or do you get the base abilities from Jedi Consular? Also, would a Jedi Knight Telekinetic use Focus or Force for their abilities? These are some of the questions that BW need to clarify.

How do you access the new story that came out?
-
This is an absolutely horrible UX design ... aside from the all the other points about size & collapsing the box ... the layout is harder to find the amplifier you want to recalibrate IMO ... it's harder to identify which gear piece you are working on.
-
I first took my main through the story (JK) ... it was a great and fulfilling closure.
Next, I took my Warrior through ... and the story was still decent, plus there were enough difference based on previous choices that made it interesting.
However, I don't have much motivation to take any non-force user classes through the story. I think they will be a let down.
Also ...
In the final fight, I am not sure if this is a bug or intended, but I could not target any of the adds in the Valkorian portion, although I could target them in the Vitiate & Tenebrae parts.

Funny how you call the rifle a sniper rifle in the article, yet it's just a blaster rifle in the game, making it useless to snipers. WTB A SNIPER VERSION OF THIS BW!
Really stupid decision by them ... why not just make two versions. They do it all the time with lightsabesr & double-bladed Lightsabers.

Here is a screenie to show the location and coordinates of where you can stand to scan all five of the locations for the mission.
Thanks ... this workd.
-
Is there a particular reason to scan them from one spot - like an achievement, etc - or is this just for grins?
EDIT: Btw, I normally scan 4 of them from one spot and get the 5th at the end of the bike ride.
This is some of the best content that SWTOR has to offer.
-
So I have been trying to get all macrobinocular locations from a single spot since this quest was introduced ... I've never been able to get the location to the far northeast.
Is it possible to get all 5 locations from one spot or is this my White Whale?
-
When is this going to be fixed? I have not been able to log in in nearly two weeks ... none of the proposed fixes work for me.

That would be an awesome addition as a GSF scout ship.

I have to say it is mind-boggling how adept EA/BW-A are at alienating its most loyal fan base ... it’s as if they have an internal challenge to figure out how to piss off their players more. Next up, they’ll do something to completely alienate those who just play the GTN.
-
Embers are very easy to get ... you need to run Discovery Crew Skill Missions (i.e. mission that come from Slicing Crits). You can either buy the missions on the GTN or run Level 11 Lockbox Slicing mission with a lvl 50 influence Companion ... when those crit you get a discovery mission.
-
TBH, I don’t like the full Beskar set ... it’s too shiny. I prefer his early episode armor with different color and battle worn textures.

Thank you for the most useless response of all time. On a side note, I hear the GTN terminals on fleet are pretty useful as well.
