    Had this happen a couple times, not fun when you are guarding a node solo! If you hit CTRL U twice in succession it fixes it. Be aware your whole UI will be gone for a sec while it resets.

    What's up with all the elitist jerks that I've been finding with the LFG tool? Did you guys forget that some people came from dead servers and probably have never done the FP? Or they (believe it or not) don't know that you have to be geared to play Esseles Hard Mode (It is the after all the easiest of the FPs). Instead of being quick to call them noobs and rage quiting the groups, how about telling these noobs what they're doing wrong. You expect these guys to get better if no one tells them what they're doing wrong?

     

    Yesterday when doing the Black Hole Daily, we had a tank who raged quit because the dps kept messing up the pulls. Immediately after quitting you see "LF gear grouped who knows what they're doing for H4".

     

    Ugh, I sympathize. I have had to PVP with those ragers since I started warzone pvp. There is no flipping way I will ever click the LFG button for that very reason. If I can't get a group of friends together to do something I would rather just skip it.

    perhaps have it as a setting in preferences, so you can default it per toon, either way? Or if your in a group, it automatically is 'off'', but solo its automatically 'on'?

    Hiya, I'm new to 'Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.' Actually this is my first 'mmo' full-stop and it's a bit of a steep learning curve. So I need a bit of advice from you guys.

    I'm playing PVE (just for the story, at the moment) on a near empty server. I don't do groups or HEROIC'S because I'm simply just not good enough yet. However I keep getting the onscreen message offering me a 'free transfer' to a more populated server~Nightmare Lands.

    This server has HEAVY usage when I checked it. So is it worthwhile for me to join it (and potentially add to peak-time qeueing problems etc.) OR just level my character up to 50 on my dang near empty server and transfer when I have acquired some more in-game experience?

    I guess I'm asking what I would gain from transferring to a populated server and what could a n00b like me offer to other players ~ apart from nuisance value...:o

     

    My 2 cents-

    Definitely roll on the heavy server, there is no guarantee you could get transferred off that wasteland later. You can also access more things for sale on the GTN nad groups if needed for heroics.

     

    If you end up with Q times to log in just use the following tip. Start your log in 20 mins before you really want to play and get in line. Then do your normal pre log in things like use the restroom, get a drink and or snack etc. I have done this many times and its aok.

    I absolutely HATE PVP at 50....

    Aside from having a human being looking at each player and their gear and placing them onto each side of a match, exactly how would you change the matchmaking system to make PvP at 50 "more fun" for you?

     

    I'm honestly curious.

     

    Couldn't it Q folks of similar expertise #'s against each other? That alone pretty much is the tell for how much gear they have.

    So I just ran 4 WZ's won 3 lost 1. Didn't seem nerfed to me, in my loss I got 47 comms...fine with me. Wins were 140ish...

     

    WIth the daily and weekly it's still possible to gear up a brand new level 50 into full BM within 1 week of dedicated non killyourself-grinding WZ play.

     

    Not sure what the OP is qq'ing about.

     

    140ish for the win is pretty good, ty for answering my question!

    No offense but as a group leader this is a huge relief. Nothing like having to have folks leave Q over and over when someone forgot to un Q before joining group. It was like herding cats. >.<

    Fumble is a polite British word for having a ****. I wasn't sure whether it would get starred or not.

     

    And yes... i hate opening my mail. Seems to be bills or overdraft notifications atm.

    I mean... i dont know why people don't go do something as effortless as watching tv for 20 minutes?

    Agree 100%, in fact we were discussing this last night. I would much rather have 900 other people to play with than 0 Q time.

    I agree on get a drink/snack and pee but what is a fumble?

    Walk outside and chat with friends.

    Open junk mail I have been avoiding.

    Partially load or unload the dishwasher.

    Brush my cat, he is shedding like crazy right now.

    Read my guilds website.

    Read my personal email.

    Look up new manicure ideas.

    After all the random stuff that happened even after minor patches, I guess we will be transfered naked and all turned into ewoks.

    Haha, if it were Jawa's instead of Ewoks, I would be aok with that. I am excited to (hopefully) play with & against more people.

    Will Bioware do anything about hacking?

    I wish that was true. :(

     

    I've reported 9 players since 1.15, and all 9 disappeared from the warzones within a couple of days of reporting.

    But only 2 of them have not returned 1-2 weeks later (they might just have quit playing altogether, who knows).

     

    Yes, Bioware punishes the exploiters, but not harshly enough to be a real deterrent.

     

    This. We report people repeatedly for a week or so and finally get a few days of fun equitable warzones. A week later bam, they are back. :mad:

    Heyas, right now those of us on HOG are waiting to see what happens Tuesday. I imagine we will be a destination server but who knows at this point. If it turns out we have the option to move DFR will discuss as a guild. Either way Temper or I will post back here with what decisions are made in case more Flurry people want to come play. I know I miss alot of you!

    Can't wait for the gnashing of teeth, wailing and lamenting that will go on when all of the guilds with "clever", punny names (usually involving Sith) collide.

     

    I mean, is there a server out there without a "Sith Happens"? Will we see "Sith Happens 2: Electric Boogaloo"?

     

    LOL, I <3 it! Just posting in to say how happy I am to hear about this. I am very pleased they are funneling folks to specific servers as well. I was worried they were going to let it be a free for all so people wouldnt cry, then we'd end up with a bigger mess. Looks like someone finally put their foot down. Yay!

    Same here, the more the merrier!

    I must mention yesterday I tried to send a free trial to someone and it told me I had hit my max invite limit. It was the1st person I had invited so the error made no sense! :confused: If your friend still needs an invite feel free to pm me the address, I am happy to try.
