[Level 60 Token consumed but hasn't worked!]

Used free level 60, leveled to 65.

 

Decided I want a republic toon to play with mate, bought a cartel level 60 token as they are on special.

 

Consumed on my 65, server slots are 14 and '0 Level 60 Characters' on character screen.

 

 

Sigh. Fix please

[Best way to grind dailies?]

They are just quests. Best way is to group with a mate / guildmate to learn the ropes. Eventually you will be able to solo all heroics as tank spec. And yes all, including the heroic on Corellia. If your in a guild just listen out for someone going to do their dailies and ask to tag along. Best way to learn, and quicker to complete together.

For a true straight dps test that will be more independent of specific fight mechanics, use the training dummies. On Ziost Shadow Bridge deck there is a training area with a few different types of dummies.

 

Working on the strong one + the MOX combat log parser I was able to obtain a consistent 1530~ dps.

 

Parsing the new raid last night certainly showed that some fights ended up lower than that (toth + zorn), but some were close to equivalent (colonel varganth)

 

I am doing exactly the same thing as you. Operation Dummy + MoX Parser and was getting 1060 dps over a 3-5minute period. I tried both Deception and Madness and could not see any difference. I am 4/5 Rakata, Rakata OH, Rakata MH mods in a orange critted DBLS, Orange belt, columi bracer, rakata implants / ear, energy Proc relic from HM's and matrix cube. So I am not undergeared and There is no way I saw 1500, except for the initial start on the Dummy which does not count.

 

Please share your secrets.

Im tempted to drop Syntheweaving for Artifice.

 

Schematic for the 5 hour buff to kill Pilgrim.

That alone saves 30 daily commendations a week. A lot of grinding I can avoid, or dedicate to new trinkets.

Sorry mate, cleared the data and went back to tank spec in disgust! It doesnt make sense considering I was either 1st or 2nd to finish on pylons in our 8man's. Good to know I am not the only one suffering, be interesting to see what others are doing, i.e. other classes. Had a mara next to me doing 800-900 in annih spec, and I thought they were currently highest dmg dealers.

Did some parsing with a guildy last night, scary.

 

We are both fairly geared, not quite full Rakata only couple of pieces missing, he is a Merc and I am a sin. We both tried our two dps spec's. He was getting about 1200 dps in both specs. I on the other hand was sitting at about 1050 dps with both spec's no real difference in either.

 

Anyone else get different numbers?

Yes and atm I have a matrix cube and Energy relic, I have a crit crafted power relic I can go back to if needed, I generally swap these out depending on the fight. I.e. SoA when I want the burst for Phase 3

Im interested to see if we will be able to make some BiS Offhands for Sith/Jedi and Ptech's, wondering if they can be critted to come with augment slot. I really should have jumped on this PTS.

I didn't see any new columi level raid schematics on the database sites but if dh's 1.2 data is solid both artiface and armstech will have the ability to craft orange weapons without BCA's:

[Explosive Conflict - Tank Question]

I have been our OT during pre 1.2 content and have stayed DPS spec to tank, towards the end of 1.1.5 I was tanking in dps gear dps spec.

 

Have changed to tank now for 1.2 so hope I dont have to go back to dps spec as I enjoy being tank, especially when we have 3-4 Inq in the operation group.

[Deception Assassins and the Dark Energy Surge Relic]

Been wondering this myself, was waiting until ship dummies and logs to test it. But I think when it says other affects dont stack or whatever it is, means you cant use the Norm mode of this and the HM mode of this together. But the two seperate dps relics can work together just not the same name one's i.e. HM 1 can be used with Norm 2, but HM 1 cant be used with Norm 1.

Don't know how you got the idea that sith inquisitor class in based on Darth Maul, as the post above me says, just because the class carries a double-bladed lightsaber, dosent mean that the whole class is based on Maul lol.

Duplicity, for deception, is your single most important proc, since when it does you do the most damage per force point per GCD. Skipping it is a VERY bad idea. Also sport very good armor penetration and awesome critical damage. Do not skip it. Without that skill maul is not worth it.

 

Electric execution is imo not worth it. 9% of 135 is 13 damage at level 50 is wasted points. 5/33/3 is personally what I'd go for, with 2 points in either insulation or entropic field.

 

Electric Execution (EE) does not just affect charge like it say's, it also buff's your discharge effect. I haven't been deception for awhile now so cant remember exact figures. But for madness Without EE discharge put a dot of about 2100 onto target, with EE it got boosted to 2400. 300 extra dmg over 18 sec might not feel like a lot. But it's free damage and builds up over a 5 - 10 minute fight.

[SWTOR Arenas: How it Should be Done]

I would welcome Arena's as long as the rewards are arena only gear.. like must have such and such rating to get gear. I know that people need a incentive to reach higher levels, so maybe making gear that can only be worn in arena matches.. Because with arena only gear it makes pvp warzones unfair, and un-enjoyable for casual's.

 

Because I am mainly PvE, but I love PvP! I do it a lot but not seriously just farming warzones.. with arena geared players in same warzones it means I might as well not play because I just get stomped.
