It's not 5 months, the guy quoted an old post. I don't really care about content right now, I unsubbed in February and I'm waiting for the game to catch up with features that should have been in at release so it can at least go on par with the previous game and hopefully one day be better in most aspects.

I consider 1 patch being 1 worthwhile month. You are right, there were 2 patches. So that's 2 months with a reason to have a sub and every other month since release having no reason for having a sub. As I said, in my maths I consider 1.3 being in July. I changed my first post a long time ago as you can see by the quote on previous page, it's indeed not 5 months.

 

We do expect content each month because they said it's what they were going to do.

Yeah, these were in the two months in which they added something since the release, hence the 5 other months with nothing (counting on 1.3 being in July, sorry if that's what puzzled you).

Sorry if it sounded like I was negative over you, I just meant with people in general. One just has to see the success of WoW to understand that that combat system is the way to bring more people. Like you said, the mass usually don't want a FPS combat in their MMO.

It's understandable that not everyone has the capacity to play a MMO with an interactive and good combat system, that's why SWTOR copied the dumbed down WoW-like system. Personally I can't have fun with combat like SWTOR since I played Age of Conan and Champions Online.

I liked the immersion in LotRO, you really felt like you were living in the Middle-Earth, unlike SWTOR and its complete lack of immersion and frozen worlds, but I couldn't stand the awful combat system, which is even worse than SWTOR's if that's possible. I guess it's going to be hard to find a good combat system after playing Age of Conan and Champions Online.

I don't know if it's open to visits, I went there for the 4 days fan site summit last year. Worth a visit? Depends on what you like. The walls display nice large pictures of the game and concepts of items and places. Some offices must belong to hardcore Star Wars fans because they are full of artifacts from the saga like the ships and action figures. Don't know if there is much to see really, it's just offices and the ambiance must not be so nice right now with all their problems.
