Hi everyone,
I'm new to RP but not new to TOR. I am looking for an individual preferably female or a small group of people to teach me the ropes of RP'ing. I am a casual gamer looking to add a new level of fun/ excitement to my game and believe RP'ing could do that. Hello everyone,
I'm looking to give RP'ing a try and have never done it before, so I am looking for someone or a small group to teach me the ropes. Hey OP, during the beta + early access (and even some time after the release), I had a LOT of fun playing the game. However, the fun will not last. The entire game gets stale within a month (and if you get to level 50, you're going to be tearing your hair out in boredom).
To each their own I guess, fact is you have alot of people on these forums crying and moaning about level 50. I for one like being level 50 and look forward to the new content, not bored at all so far been level 50 for couple of weeks.
Glad you enjoyed your experience and welcome, small piece of advice avoid these cancerous forums at all costs far too many trolls and haters on here.

Well if it took you 8 days to reach that means you probably skipped all story content and spacebared through everything. I am by no means a casual gamer have been playing mmos since 03 it has taken me close to month and half to reach 50.
Granted there was a wk I was unable to play at all and a couple days but I am enjoying the game so much I want to take everything bioware worked so long and hard to create. I do not think the leveling experience is to fast at all I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've never been big on end game so haven't done much in that way currently working on my second char.

1.I hate orcs
2. I hate dwarves
3. I hate fantasy that contains those things and the rest

I couldn't careless about gw2 or any other mmo out there new or old. Tor is the only mmo I will play because I enjoy it and most importantly it doesn't have elves, orcs, dwarves etc etc

To ask everyone if they are going to continue to sub or not? Why do these people even care specially when they've decided to unsub themselves. If you have decided to unsub because you do not enjoy the game then just leave stop trying to ask people if they are staying and why.

Yes absolutely I love this game. Its the best mmo I personaly have ever played simply because it does not have orcs, trolls, elves etc etc

Anyone can predict the future. They may not be right but they can make a guess.
It's fine that you enjoy it, but with the changes I have seen thus far coming in 1.2 and the botched legacy system I expect it will grow stale for a great many of us who have come to expect more from mmos.
Speak for your self, I'm sure I am not the only one that hates when other people try to speak for others. I have been playing mmos since 03 and personally enjoy this game a great deal. I will never play another mmo after this.
I hate fantasy games like wow and others I quit wow after story was announced

I've been playing mmos on and off since 03 and found people at both ends of the spectrum from extremely rude/ignorant to the very helpful/friendly. I have always tried to be as helpful as possible whenever I could. Fact of the matter is most a lot people that play mmos are complee donkeys and instead of taking 2 seconds out of their time to answer a question they would rather give a rude/snide remark.

Finally decided to stick to commando and get that to 50 with any luck that will be this weekend

I love this game yes it has met my expectations. Yes I will continue to say this even when I reach 50 because I for one do not care about end game pvp or raids. No I am not a casual gamer just those things do not appeal to me at all

Seriously like it's some badge of honor one month out from launch? It just makes you look stupid running around with it on. Now come back in a year and display it, but now it's a joke.
You must be joking lol. I guess not,I thought it was lame to be getting them so soon after launch but now I am going to wear mine just to annoy people like this.

Eveyone is entitled to an opinion wether people agree or is not important.
Here are some of the reasons I love this game even ith the bugs which will all be fixed.
1. No elves, warlocks, cows, dwarfs, trolls, etc etc
2. Voice acting
3. Endless story options
4. Game is not centred around end game
I did play wow from launch off and on for 4 yrs untill about 2 yrs ago, I'm tired of all the mmos out there that are straight up fantasy like wow. For the record I dd enjoy wow for about a solid year then grew tired really fast

YOU may like the game but in no way are you qualified to speak for the "WE" as there are some people out there that simply wants the game to fail for some disillusioned reason or another.
You are right though there are some that do like the game and do post good suggestions but the problem is most of those go about posting their suggestions in the wrong way. They post them in RAGE posts and say do this or that or else in a non constructive format.
That's exactly it 90% of the rage posts I read on these forums were not even close to being constructive criticism or feedback, even though that is what was claimed in many of the titles.
Most of the posts I read pre jan 20 went like for this more or less " I hate this game, its another WoW clone and I hope it fails not that it isn't a major fail already."
In other posts it went somewhat like this " this is a WoW clone in space with lightsabers, and this is why I hate it, it has none of the WoW features! I'm quitting unless they add WoWs features yesterday!!! " There were some that were far worse and some that weren't that bad that were actually constructive.
Anyways I actually forgot where I was going with this so I'm done.

Yes I know this is posted in wrong forum, but matter of fact is guild hall is lame I can't post there unless on specific server. That is why I am posting here. As the title says I'm Canadian looking for Canadian guild. I do not care which faction or on what server, I would just like to play with other Canadians. That being said I would prefer an East Coast Server over West.
I am looking for a more friendly casual type guild where raiding and pvp are not a priority.
Yes I would like to take part in these activities at times but do not want them to be the sole guild activites and be of high priority for guild members to participate in.
So if you are in a Canadian guild that falls in this category please feel free to massege me here

No offense, but you must be either young or new to MMO's. The best MMO I have ever played is still Ultima Online: The Second Age way back in 1997-1998.
I'm not that young nor am I new to mmos, I've tried quite a few and they just didn't do anything for me. Pretty much all the same. Swtor is new and interesting can keep my interested for far longer then 5minutes at a time, even find myself turning down the tv becase I want to hear what is said.
P.s. I never said this is the best mmo YOU ever played I said its the best I have ever played. Its my opinion of this game and I am entitled to it seeing its the ONLY thing anyone is entitled to in life

Hello everyone,
I'm an old swtor player returning and looking to start a new guild dedicated to casual players. I'm looking for people that are willing, want to work with me to start and build this guild from the ground up. The overall plan is to create a friendly guild that welcomes everyone of all classes and playing expertise or experience. A guild to help new and old players alike, to provide an enjoyable evironment for everyone. I would like this guild to take part in flashpoints and operations as well as pvp at times.
