  1. Character transfer is a common request for these servers. The ability to transfer your characters is being worked on, but there is no ETA on when it will be available.

Good to hear. I will gladly move my characters to a different server. The Lineups don't bug me.. But, ya know.. Over time it might haha.

  2. Hey.

I have 2 characters on a server that, at the time, wasn't heavy.. Now it is full most of the time. Can I transfer my account to a different server as to lighten up the load on my current? If not, will there be a service available soon?

    ~ Thanks.

  3. This is a genuine post from our forum.

    ************************************************** ***************

ve had access since Wednesday 14th, and I'm grateful for that.

However, this is my experience so far:

Wednesday: 1500 queue, took me about 4 hours to get in, played 2 hours, and went to bed. Work in the morning.

Thursday: 1500 queue, took me a little over 4 hours, played for a couple, and again, had to turn in.

Friday: 2000 queue. Took me 5½ hours to log in. Had a Saturday shift, so again, could only play for a few hours, besides the wait...

Saturday: 2000 queue, around 6 hours again, logged in at 14:30, didn't play until 20:20. This is highly unsatisfying. Especially since, after a couple of hours, (reached lvl 10, weeeee, but have spent 4 times the playtime in queue), I got a D/C, and upon reentry, had to find myself in another 1800 queue. Quit, rerolled on a no-queue-server, and played until 9 this morning, reaching lvl 17. All in one go, no queues, no relogs. Lovely. Finally. Only trouble is, this char is NOT on Freedom Nadd... LoL.

Other than that, once inside Freedom Nadd, the server seems fine. I had that one D/C on Saturday evening, but I think that might as well have been my PC's fault. Not the game.

Sunday: Queing again, but I have to say, I can enter my new "not-on-Freedom-Nadd" character right away, and he is pulling severe interest from me, compared to a 6 hour wait, to play 4 hours on Jotak. Sadly.

Again, release is on Tuesday, and hopefully they will open the server cap, but if this continues for much longer than that, I will no longer subscribe to this game. Or just find another server to fool around and enjoy the game on. Because that's what I really have been looking forward to, for 6 months now. I am not complaining about the price, 'cause in fact, we haven't paid a cent in subscription fees yet... But I will NOT pay for NOT being able to play, sorry BioWare!

I will miss *******, and all you guys, but I would rather play 90% of the time allocated in my life for electronic entertainment, than sit in a queue for 90% of the time available. Hope this makes sense. And hopefully, it will look better on Tuesday.

    Hugs,

This is from a guy I have played with for years, you are breaking communities with this bull.

    Fully Agree.

  4. When i buy a game, the term's of pre order was 5 days of early game access, not 4,not 3.

I have the Pre-Order insert (That I got with my preorder from EB Games) in front of me and it says, "You can play upto 5 days early. So, that could as late at the 19th or as early as today. Believe me, I know it sucks. I've been watching endless Live gameplay and I am getting ever more twitchy by the hour. Rub your temples and recite, "Calm Blue Ocean" over and over.

May the Force be with you =)

  5. As we all know, all of october and most of november will be invited to the game today. So there will be only, 15-20 days to invite. It won't be a huge spike probably and so these are also may join to game, shouldnt be so hard to do.

As a fellow player, a fan of Bioware games and december pre-orderer, I request a few extra waves for today to let us all in and play this game.

Yes, it was "up to" 5 days, and yes we don't have right to "demand" it, but we may request it I think.

I hope they can read this and at least talk about it with eachother.

Agreed. I, "Request" Access please =)

  6. When I played a jedi knigt in the beta weekend... I didn't see any empire players on tython, coruscant, taris or nar shadaa... by that point I'm pretty sure your like late 20s/early 30s. After 3-4 more days your already at max level and any advantage they had is gone. After the first 2-3 weeks of the game I'm sure this entire early access thing will be pretty much forgotten, and two days head start will mean very little in the grand scheme of things months down the road.

    Well Said.

  7. I just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone that is working hard to get this game launched. In my humble opinion you are doing an exceptional job.

There seem to be a lot of hate threads, and disappointed people are posting to vent their frustrations and a few of the "negative" posts are actually well written with valid points. But there seem to be more aggressive, angry posts trolling than ones with constructive feedback.

Over the past 12 years, I've been lucky enough to participate in many beta tests, early access events and game launches. To date, you guys have handled this release with more professionalism and more communication than all the others combined.

No, I still haven't received an Early Access key, and I'll wait patiently (it isn't easy) -- but I am very thankful that you are reading a lot of these posts and actually responding to your customer base. And the quick response by customer service and tech support is amazing.

For those players and soon-to-be players reading this, just read a few of the posts in the DEV Tracker forum (found here: http://www.swtor.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=304 ) and you'll see what I mean.

Anyway, THANK YOU Bioware and every single employee on duty, for making this a smooth launch. We all appreciate your hard work. Honestly.. all of us do.

I fully agree with everything you've said. I pre-ordered my game only 1 week ago SO if I got to play even 1 day early I'd be happy. I'm just so glad that there are people out there that love Star Wars as much as I do. Thanks Developers! :D

  8. Reading ALOT of whining threads about not getting in. Seriously, come on guys. They will be doing their best. Just go play another game while you wait. Better yet, look on the light side.. More bugs will be worked out by the time you get online =):cool::cool:
