Does it take that long to code sheep companions?

I love how people north of the equator are whinging and yelling at people in the Oceanic region to "get off our servers". They aren't your servers, they belong to BioWare/EA.
BioWare/EA grouped those from this region via the Daisy Chain and termed the servers "Unofficial Oceanic" so that people from this region could play with others in the same time zone.
Maybe if you had decided to research your servers a little better before rolling on these "Unofficial Oceanic" servers then maybe you wouldn't have to deal with us "Red Zoners".
Anyway rant ended - thanks BioWare/EA for making a decision that will make a belated Christmas gift to all of us in the Oceanic region. Hopefully we can support the game enough to warrant the placement of local servers.
i think it was the community who coined them the unofficial oceanic servers not EA/bioware, but never the less people really should research more before whineing about server ques.
Personally im not playing one either due to the massive ques, i have a character on swiftsure, but that was on the first day of early access, and now i cant even be bothered waiting in the que just go to on and delete him so i can bring my main gaming handle across xD

We are planning on actual servers located in the area. The final location is being locked down, but when we say 'local' we don't mean 'in the US but with a label'.
Alright you pretty much just made up for the whole "no release in australia yet" debaucle
In my head anyway.

Oceanic servers would be cool...But I'm already playing with friends from the states I made in previous games on Bondar Crystal. I'm getting 246ms playing from NZ lol (It's actually relatively normal considering) What's the latency you guys are getting and are they USEAST/WEST?
I thought I was the only Oceanic player on Bondar but I found another Kiwi.
Im getting about 250-350 on Nadds sarcophagus, still topping in pvp and having a blast so, all good for me haha, would be lovely to sit at 50ms but >:3

I'm hopeing for physically local servers, but if blizzard couldnt organise it then i worry about EA/bioware organising it, time will tell. i'll assumably be level 50 by march at least on my main

Just so you know, March 1st is actually Autumn (or Fall) in Australia and NZ!
If you're going to officially launch in a country you should probably figure out when the seasons are!

Free transfers to oceanic servers would be lovely
even if its just guild transfers, most aussies play together anyway.

Are you considering ever implementing a gear dye system into the game?
For example global agendas dye system was awesome with two dye slots and an emmisive slot for armor lighting/lighting on weapons.
Im a massive character customisation freak and would love to see dyes implemented into the game
Even if it was a crew skill\RL money system.
