    I'm unfamiliar with that. Is that "Searching For Allies"? That one specifically requires you (and anyone in your group if premade) to have everything checked in the filter. However, it's possible the fix Jackie mentioned is going to fix yours as well. The 2 are likely tied to the same "bug".

    It's one of the extra conquest objective sgained from guild perks^^

    But yeha I figured it could probably be related hence why I brought it up here now as well while devs are looking into the Socialite one.

    Team did a little digging and while they could not find anything that would cause the random FP issue holistically, we can confirm that Shrine of Silence is not giving credit toward Socialite 1. This bug will be tracked and fixed in a future update. Thanks!

    It seems Shrine of Silence might not count for the Flashpoint Rally conquest (to do a flashpoint with a guild group) as well.
    Because we did it yesterday and it did not complete the Flashpoint Rally objective.

    I wanted to jump in to let you all know that I did some testing on the Geonosian Handler License and can confirm that the license is still dropping from the Mutated Geonosian Queen. I saw mention of the Wings of Nihrot, the Geonosian Handler License has the same chance to drop as the Wings of Nihrot.

    Thank you for calling out other potential drops that might be bugged (Illumination Probe Crate decoration from Blood Hunt and the Manned Blaster Turret decoration from Collicoid Games), we will keep an eye on these as well.

    I think the problem is HM Geonosian Queen probably just not done that often, a prog group might do it once to check it off, but I don't really see groups farming it. I used to see at least 1 or so Lysslo license on GTN back during 6.0 for like 1 billion credits, but havent seen any on GTN in a long time. Maybe if his drop rate was increased it might actually lead to some groups farming that boss more often, or at least some ending up on the GTN?

    For the Illumination Probe Crate I trie dfarming for it with guildmates some time ago, probably did like 30+ MM runs WITH bonus boss objective finished, and never saw it drop even once, so IF it drops at all its drop rate is rediculously rare.

    Haven't done Colicoids anywhere near as much, but have done quite some runs for guildmates to get achievement for it, also never seen the Manned Blaster Turret drop personally, HOWEVER I did recently see a stronghold on public listings that had not one, but TWO Manned Blaster Turrets in their stronghold, which was the first time since I started playing SWTOR in fall 2017 that I ever saw that decoration in person.

    I'll pass that along for the team to look into. If there's anything else, let us know in this thread.

    The following items I have noticed have no discount applied:

    -> 2V-R8 Customization - Target Dummy

    -> Ordtech F7 Lightsaber

    -> Emote: Feel the Groove

    -> Emote: Overeat

    -> Emote: Toast of Prosperity

    -> Portable Relaxation Unit

    -> Remnant Arkanian Agent's Armor Set

    All that was a lot of words to say that when we’re considering the narrative threads to include in content, we view all the options through this multi-faceted lens of cost vs. impact. We choose what to include based on what fits our narrative goals, has a meaningful and far-reaching impact, and won’t be a detriment to scope, cost, and quality in the ways I’ve described. As humans with a finite amount of resources, that sometimes means we can’t include everything we’d like to. But these stories aren’t forgotten, and they still mean as much to us as they do to y’all!

    Always interesting to hear a little more about the development process for the game.

    So far i'm really enjoying 7.4, Kessan's Landing is a nice new area, and the dailies/heroics are less annoying then Ruhnuk's. (I especially really liked the Heroic 4 boss on Ord Mantell, he was a nice surprise challenge.)

    I really liked the opening bit on Port Nowhere, even though it was short it's fun to have these little narrative missions inbetween the bigger ones, like the return to Elom digsite in 7.1, that aren't just a quick cutscene on Odessen.

    How do you know that?? We only get to know the rules and then the results (and this year we had no announcement for the latter lol)

    Yeah it was cool to see my screenshot in the top 5 on the 7.4 dev stream^^

    I don't think they revealed top 5 finalists for the previous 2 years they did Best View contest.

    The new posting fees for the GTN are going to cost more to post, cancel, and repost repeatedly. With the current GTN pricing to post people cancel and repost their auctions multiple times a day undercutting anyone with cheaper prices. I've done it myself when selling resources and the primary reason I can do this is it only costs a few thousand, not tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands but less than 5,000 credits to cancel and repost pages of resources.

    There is a simple solution for this then, don't refund the listing fee if people intentionally cancel their listings. Do refund if a listing expires normally after the set time/days when it doesn't sell.

    Rest of the GTN changes seem good to me, this is my only real negative thing for me is the fees not refunding if a listing expires and doesn't sell (for the reasons myself, VegaMist & TrixxieTriss already mentioned earlier in this thread). People listing stuff at rediculous prices isn't an issue, I never heard of anyone falling victim to those, and even if it was 7.4 already fixes it anyways by having people automatically buy the cheapest listings of the chosen item they are buying.

  8. 13 hours ago, Darkestmonty said:

    This is actually a good thing. How many people currently list a lot of random player made dyes, etc for 3 billion credits hoping someone will accidentally buy them?

    The new GTN system will at least make the practice of listing items for 3 billion in the hopes someone buys it by mistake obsolete and maybe curb the practice of flooding a market knowing you won't sell anything but guaranteeing no one else will either.

    I have never heard of anyone "accidentally" buying an item for 3 billion, people don't buy stuff "accidentally" listed at those amounts. Certainly not cheap crap like crafted dyes etc. And even if this was a thing, which it wasn't, the new GTN already fixes this because all listings for an item are shown together with the cheapest always at the top.

    13 hours ago, Darkestmonty said:

    How many times have you seen a person flood a market by posting their 5,500 dark projects in stacks of 100?

    Right now a lot of people use exploitative posting tactics hoping a buyer makes a mistake or floods the market and keeps undercutting anyone making it nearly impossible for others to make sales.

    And what is stopping them from listing all their dark projects on the new GTN just a few credits cheaper then the other current listings? The only difference now is if someone (or multiple someones) lists a crap ton of the same item AFTER you have listed yours, just cheaper then yours, and yours don't sell before your listings run out, you will basically have lost credits on it. As the dev post states: "You’ll always get the best available listing when you click purchase." Undercutting will continue to be the norm because the lowest listings will be the top listing and sell first.

    13 hours ago, Darkestmonty said:

    BTW, posting fees being non-refundable is not an issue since sellers no longer get taxed by the GTN.

    Instead you get to pay credits to GTN even if your stuff doesn't sell, so now you are paying a "tax" regardless if stuff sells or not.

    7 hours ago, VegaMist said:

    Neither of those though has anything to do with non-refundable fees which will create the risk for every seller that they will incur continues losses regardless whether they sell popular items (since undercutting will flourish), valuable low-demand items (which may take months to sell even with no competition), or Cartel Market items which require a certain price point in order to justify buying them from CM for re-sale in the first place (also may take a while to sell, especially armor pieces which CM hands out individually rather than boxed as a set).

    I imagine it will just drive trade traffic away from the GTN again for in-person trades for such items, UNLESS the trade fees for these items are rediculously high to the point that risking having to pay multiple listing fees for relistings is still the better deal. Even so I predict we will see a lot less of such listings on GTN if this goes through. Either way, if the goal is to drain credits from the economy then I imagine you'd want to encourage players to sell stuff on the GTN so buyers/sellers fees are paid when these items do sell, not disuade them from listing potentially risky listings.

  9. Shift + clicking an item in your inventory no longer places item name in search bar of GTN for easy searching.

    Won't let me search some categories like pets or mounts without typing something in search bar (I would like to just see all pets or mounts listed on gtn).

    A bit annoying you have to switch windows/tabs to see what an item is currently going for on the GTN with the buyer's tax.

    The new features all seem handy to have.

    However, the listing fee no longer refunding if an item doesn't sell is probably my biggest gripe in all of this. It will only make me think twice about listing stuff on GTN at all, especially rarer items worth a lot, or items that might not be in demand much but still fetch a high price. It makes selling certain stuff a risk, I don't want to loose credits without even selling an item, feels like a punishment. And seems like it might dissuade people from listing stuff unless they are sure it will sell.

  10. My personal wishlist:

    -> Gamorrean Axe

    -> Infected Womp Weasel (Pet)

    -> THORN Containment Armor Set

    -> Sand People Pillager Armor Set

    -> M8-M0 and W4-K2 Astromech Droid (Pets)

    -> Oulaw's Armor Set (also more of those very old purple modded CM sets would probably be welcomed by many to complete collections)

    Thats all I can think of off the top of my head XD

    Clearing up a misconception here! This is a community run event, and it is one that is now entering its third year. The frames were done and built in the first year so the only lifting done on the team each following year is adding the winning shots to the event vendor. Essentially, that makes it so there's little impact on the design team and the heavier lifting is on the community team. So this is a fun project that community owns and the way the contest was built allows for others team to focus on things such as creating new content, polishing current content, and/or reviewing and fix bugs. Hope that helps!

    I'm loving the return of this contest for a 3rd round! Sadly didn't win any during the first 2 so i'm happy to see it back so I can give it another go :jawa_tongue:

    I do hope there will be future contests similar to this in the future (not neccesarily Best View ones as it seems all planets will now be covered with this one), they are fun.

    That depends on if those unlocks are free or GS currency. If you have a lot of Alts, they may never be able to do it if it’s not free or credits.

    I simply assumed it would be for credits like the companion gifts currently are.

    But good point. I'd still prefer them in collections like the companions, but i would be ok with them being on vendor for credits.

    In 7.3.1 players will discover Kai Zykken has disappeared from the Fleet pending investigation by both the Republic and Empire!

    Good! Now add him to the Bounty event so us players can hunt down that scam artist! I would love to see him trying to outrun me on his log speeder.

    They will not be in collections, however if you've completed the mission on any character you will be able to re-acquire the mission items on other characters from the Galactic Seasons vendor Jaliet Nall.

    I would have preferred collections unlocks like the companions so i'd be able to unlock them account wide with CC. But this will do as well. At least it means I can do the story on my alts still even after Galactic Season 5 ends.

    Rest of changes sound good, more operations/group objectives is good for my guild as well, I usually organise some guild events around those group activities like operations, world bosses or those kill champion base guard objectives. More personnel decorations are also always appreciated, they populate my strongholds nicely. Looking forward to 7.3.1 to see all the rewards Galactic Season 5 will have and to grind Galactic Seasons again.

  15. So just to be extra clear because english isn't my native language. When you say the Galactic Seasons 5 missions work similar to the companion alert items you mean that they will unlock in collections and still be available to do on other characters/alts even after the Galactic Season 5 ends right?

  16. It happened to a whole bunch of people in my guild last evening, it's happening again right now.

    A whole bunch in guild just get kicked from server, says lost connection at first then when trying to relog keeps saying kicked due to inactivity.

    Have a hard time relogging at all, and if we do we get kicked after 1-2 minutes again.

    If it is true, that's a very underhanded thing to do to players.  That collector's vendor item costs a lot of CCs, and part of the benefit was getting ViP access for all your alts.

    I guess this does check out with the alts of mine who can buy them. I agree with you, the Collector's Edition Vendor CM unlock advertises access to VIP area as part of it. Just weird this requirement exists at all on that vendor, not like you can get up there without the wristband or CM unlock anyways right?

  18. I want to burn some of the smuggler & kingpin chips I have on alts and wanted to buy Max Bet casino chips from the vendor on fleet VIP area.

    But vendor won't sell them to my character, it says "You don't meet the requirements to purchase this item." when hovering over the chips in vendor.

    Screenshot 1

    Screenshot 2

    What requirements? I have the credits, I have the normal chips, I can buy the regular chips, just not the max bet ones. I even did the quest from the droid on fleet again to go to casino on Nar Shaddaa and meet the event vendor. But still won't let me buy the Max Bet chips.

    Another character on which I bought some max bet chips last year to try them out can buy them still, but not other characters, weird.

  19. The system doesn't feel right. As I typed in another thread I do giveaways in my guild of a bunch of random stuff we have in our guild banks, and now the system wants us to pay 28 MILLION CREDITS just to mail a crappy silver Yellow Gold Indestructible Color Crystal! The trade fee is as much as the highest listings for that item on the GTN!

    Mail Fee Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/wJNergY.png

    Current Listings On GTN: https://i.imgur.com/ahQfFy1.png

    Whereas a bunch of other mails sent out with some bronze items rounded up to like 200k per mail. And 1 mail with a gold armor set (Lucien Draay) and some bronze items ended up costing about 2.9 million to mail.
