  1. because their player count dropped from the millions to 400k at best. All the people that wanted an MMO left, all the people that wanted a single player RPG stayed.

I play this game about as much as any other game and I treat it as a single player rpg. That's where it's strengths are, for me. I have convinced a friend to try it out with me soon, though.

  2. Any criticism is consider trolling by people on here. And when you attack someone in a post in which you criticize people for not being constructive... Well, I think it's obvious what that makes you, but in-case you're too stupid to know, it makes you a moron. This isn't directed at any specific person.
  3. no. the MAJOR SELLING POINT of this game is the voice acting. if they limit it or remove it..it's bait-and-switch. end of discussion.

this game has flaws but I like it enough to keep paying to play. If they pull this kind of bait-and-switch I'm out. And while I'm only one customer..that's still one less.

I thought the selling point was that it was the first truly story-driven mmo

  4. Lol! There is such a reward?!??

And you actually pay attention to it!??! :o

The internets is a weird and whacky place!!

Personally all the moaning about 'BW communication' and 'BW should give more'.......sounds like a lot of the moaners are in a relationship with BW.

Im just here to play a game. Its fun.

    And to comment on forums.

  5. LOLOLOLOL. Is this your first freaking day on the Internet?! All people DO on the Internet is complain. They complain about Apple, they complain about Kim Kardashian, they complain about the price of tea in China and they complain about video games. Get a grip there, Tuscad. There's a thread here that actually complains about having to choose, 'Environment: swtor1' on here. ONE EXTRA BUTTON CLICK. Yet, it exists. You people are stupid.

Ah, yes, Bioware Fanboys. The immensely stupid race of non-sentient tard's allegedly defending Bioware. We have dismissed that claim.

  6. It's funny how much my perspective has changed over the last seven or eight months. TLDR at bottom.

I've seen a lot of people making threads and comments about how terrible of a job Bioware has done with this 'launch', and I see a lot of people making comments as if they're opinion was either fact or just carried more weight than the next anonymous internet denizen. So, now I would like to take a moment to tell Bioware how I feel.

I have been with Bioware for the past decade now and they have never disappointed me, not once! Each of Biowares branches has produced games I have spent countless hours playing with unblinking eyes because I was so enraptured by their amazing ability to tell a story and make you feel as if you are the center of the universe.

Now Star Wars: The Old Republic is about to be launched and Early Game Access has already started. It never occurred to me to preorder the game so that I might get in early. In-fact I rather enjoy buying games the day of at gamestop and socializing with fellow gamers. But, I'm not disappointed that I do not get to play early because I know that seven days, five days or even one day will make not any difference during the next decade I plan on playing this game. The two days I spent in the beta were more enjoyable than the 10 years I spent playing any other mmo, world of warcraft included.

So, Thank you Bioware for a decade of astonishment and another decade of awe and amazement.

    Sincerely, A proud Bioware Fanboy

And here are my more recent comments.

You guy's really are not particularly useful. It's the 'haters' that provide the critical feedback for Bioware which is what they need to improve this game and keep it running. You may be happy with how things are, but if Bioware were to ignore the people who don't constantly shovel huge heaps of blind and unconditional love, then this game would(will?) fail and you wont be have it anymore.

And when it's just you and the last women left in the galaxy she still wont sleep with you. That's all who will be left. Enjoy.

The biggest haters are people like you. They're still here because they enjoy the game and want it to do well. If your kid was doing coke would you just going on telling him how much you love him or would you tell him what's up and that he has a serious problem?

This thread has become a breeding ground for hate on both sides with the 'fanboys' unwilling to hear the other side. All you do is make fun of people who have complaints about swtor. If they didn't like it than why are they here complaining about it? It's because they care enough to complain. Or they just want their disappoint known. Your opinions are no more valid than theirs. The 'fanboy's' are the most hateful group I've seen and you are doing Bioware and this game a disservice. Please let this thread die as it is not in the least constructive.

TLDR: I used to be a fanboy now I'm a critic.

  7. Yeah, I've only played WoW and I can safely say this mmo has the best leveling experience of all time! So, what if I find myself spacebarring through everything because I've already heard it all 5 times and who cares if every quest is kill x amount of this or gather x amount of that! It's way better than all the other mmo's I've played, WoW being the only other one.
  8. Fanboy is the title Hateboys like to give to those that say anything positive about the game or product. I agree with you. It's pathetic. If someone wants to discuss the game, good or bad, they should be able to do so without name calling.

OP Doesn't want to discuss it, that's why he told people to shut up. Derp.

  9. Or one could make the point that since companions make it possible to solo efficiently as either a tank or healer (since you can offload a lot of your dps responsiblity to your companion), it promotes a greater balance in the population of the three roles and allows for easier group formation in endgame.

Lol o'rly? Do you often solo flashpoints or operations with just your companions?
