[FPS problems.................. HELP!!!]

I'm using a radeon 4890, and I'm seeing perfect FPS in some areas, open etc, but in weird places like before a warzone, inside "some" story phases, I get 10-15fps on Korriban I get 2-8fps which makes it almost completely unplayable.

 

Alderaan 50+fps

tatooine 50+fps

Nar Shadaa 20-30fps

dromund kas 30fps

Hutta 10-20fps

 

I'm pretty sure it might be some compatibility issues with the Radeon 48xx serie

Indeed, this is what makes or breaks mmorpgs the production quality.

 

I've also had several incidents where spamming a heal ability it will bug out and a 2.5sec cast time becomes 5sec.

I recently hit lvl 25 with my bounty hunter, at which point I made myself a custom built hoverbike going at 90% speed. However, it really feels that this is a bit slow, or is that just me? I mean 45%/90% for lvl 25 is fine, but 100% at 40 and 110% at 50, I can't help but feel this is a bit slow.

 

How about keeping the 45/90% at lvl 25, but at 40 you get a 120% and a 150% at 50? What do you guys think?

maybe a warning 30-60min after the hunter has purchased a license?

 

If it's instant, player could just go somewhere safe/log off which would kind of defeat the purpose.
