  1. I capped a door in VS and was accused of exploiting when I popped out of stealth to cap. I think there is a bug and that this is happening a lot more often than people are realizing.

    Well seeing a lvl17 jedi knight do it, makes me think its not a bug, but something else goin on. :)

    Perhaps also educate your CSR´s what class can do what, and when they can do it. Reported a Jedi knight yesterday for capping warzone objectives while invisible and untouchable by AE, the reply i got was that some classes uses stealth to their advantage... Since when did Jedi knights get stealth at lvl17, since when can you cap an objective while stealthed?
  3. I have two toons with stealth and I have never been able to cap anything while being in stealth. I wish it would automatically pop me out of stealth when I'm trying to cap a door or something, but I have to get out of stealth and then click.
    Thats how it works... :/
  4. Saw this yesterday in civilwar and the new warzone, a jedi knight not being visible while capping, was using ae at the control in the coast one, but didnt hit him, didnt see him until it was capped and he force charged me from the windows.

     

    Made ticket got reply that some classes have stealth and can use this to their advantage.

When I pvp with a premade somtimes I dont win and alot of times when I PUG my teammates are number hounds ignoring objectives so I get owned this is clearly broken, I should always win so the simple solution is Nerf the entire game, except my account that is because I want to be able to own people with ease

  6. I'm at the point where I can spend my Tionese crystals on my companions. I primarily use Vette but I'm a little confused as to which armor sets to get for her. I bought some medium armor with high cunning of course but it appears there are two options. I would also like to get her some new pistols but don't really see any in the vendors that would be good for her since the ones I am seeing have +aim for Bounty Hunters.

     

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Cunning and power...... She along with Mako/Malavai uses Cunning, i though at the start that Vette would use aim as bh, but is she not a smuggler?
  7. Seems like a class specific tree issue, not an issue with other classes. We play with a sweep spec guardian who tops the damage meter in every game, I dont' know how he lives so long.
    Good backing... Look after thoose healers that heal and shield him. The defensive cooldowns we have are on 1-3 min and dont get much lower via spec.
  8. I just wish each advanced class would have their own icons so we could see who where marauder/sentinel/juggernaut/guardian. There is a big difference between the jugger/marauder and sentinel/guardian, cant even compare the dps output vs pretty much equal survivability in dps spec. Tank spec we do survive longer but we hit for crap.
  9. Well the Mos Ila was easy before, now a stone is in the way for the fast route, the long way around the town ontop of pipes, buildings etc to many places to mess up and have to start over. Alderaan dam cron seems you cannot get it any longer without the MSSG, tried yesterday, got to the ladder, jumped on ladder fell down, no matter how much jumping i did, the ladder was a fallthru...
  10. Juggernauts/Guardians imo are possibly the best class when it comes to capturing objectives in Huttball and Voidstar. They have a lot of control when it comes to making people live and CC'ing the **** out of other people, while if they are in the immortal tree they can be undying bastards for about 30 seconds (Plenty long enough to blow all your CC on 4+ enemies on the other team, while your team caps something) (CC's: 2 sec knockdown/back, 4 second stun. 3 second stun, 50% 9 second aoe slow, 6 second AoE mezz, 2 second snare... make some grenades and you can have another 4 sec AoE mezz).
    Well seeing most of my cc being absorbed by the iquis/sage shield. force kick works about once ever 10 tries, and when it hits the people tend to fly thru you rather than away from you... :p
  11. It's bad luck. You should try buying the 170 missions from the GTN though, since they increase the chance of you getting some.
    Yeah the missions are great and at that level they tend to be cheap still. The 340 purp ones are way to expensive for my taste for the rewards they yield.
  12. One scoundrel cannot hold half the team in one place, they get vaporized. Except for me. But thats because I stealth and taunt the other team in /say. God bless the man who let us communicate like that. The doo doo talking I have done, is enormous.
    My jugger got 300+ expertiese, was jumped by two scoundrels, both hit me once then i was dead... :) 18k hits just gone.

     

    Went sniper with my agent. :)

  13. Knockbacks are just frustrating more than anything. Charge and the friendly grip abilities are the true gamebreakers in huttball. With knockback you have to think about positioning and even then it doesn't always work like you intented it to. With charge you can get to places others can't without help/going the long way and it's a quaranteed succes. People don't notice this that much due to most WF's being pug's but if there's ever going to be rated WF's and the ability to que just for huttball, classes with those abilities will be very sought after for any team, mark my words.
    Well the few times my jugger kick actually works, it tends to kick the enemy in wrong direction, they face me, i face them, they should get kicked back away from me, not thru me...
  14. So, allllll these posts with complaints about level 50's, OP classes, premades... it goes on and on.

     

    I have to say, I have 3-4 characters in the 20-30 range and PVP is fine.

     

    More than fine, its great, balanced and well made.

     

    When I am only about level 15+, I can be competitive with end game 50's with thought and teamwork

     

    Have the complainers played an MMO before?

     

    Have you played wow?

     

    Try pvping when you are level 20 against a lvl 85

    Try pvping when you are level 40 against a lvl 85

    Try pvping when you are level 50 against a lvl 85

     

    You get the idea

     

    Try pvping when you are new level 85 against a lvl 85

     

    You'll get frustrated. You have to hit the end game and spend a month gearing before you can even BEGIN to pvp

     

    Last night I was in a warzone and all of us republic were under 35.

     

    The empire had 3 level 50's and a mix

     

    Guess what... we won through better tactics.

     

    PVP is SWTOR is great, the most balanced I have ever seen and fun to play.

     

    Frustrated? Go try playing wow in open world pvp as a level, say, 40, and then come back and post.

    Well if they fix the cc crap i would be happy, having full resolve bar and still being cc´d to death by a agent and inquisitor. Can add that i had all my dmg reduction cooldowns in use, and broke free once with my 1 min skill just to be ccd again.
  15. I'm not saying it is or it isn't, I just raise an eyebrow when I get knocked off a ledge and into fire/acid/etc. when my own character doesn't have a knockback. Due to the nature of the Hutt Ball arena, doesn't knockback abilities seem OP when only certain classes possess it?

     

    Thoughts?

    AE knockback that Sith inquis got and bhs got is a tad op, way to short timer for what it does and if talented adds snare,,,,

My main Sith Warrior jugger, my alts sith inquis assassin, bounty hunter merc. both my alts are under level25, both have better CC than my jugger, the merc his electro dart works way better against a lvl50 target than my juggers force choke against a lvl25, same with the kick, only cc that seems to work good is my fear but that breaks instantly on dmg, and my alts have shorter cooldowns on their AE kickback than my jugger has on his single target one.

     

    One great skill that i have for pve as a jugger tank is smash, ive talented it fully so dmg is nice, the stun also, but guess what the wont work against players, still the mercs kick back has a talented snare effect if i get it that will work.....

     

    Sure a jugger is hard to kill every 3 min, but in between we die just as quickly as any other class cept as tank my dmg is pants. hitting sith sorc for 900, getting hit back for 6000...
