  1. Great idea except it would give Jedi and Sith a huge advantage collecting Datacrons, finding hiding spots in PVP, not to mention an over all advantage in all content..

Which is why the force leap and force jump work the way they do in the game.. :)

I dont quite understand the logic behind your post, Both parties having the same advantage is no advantage atall, as with the PvP side i see you just wanted to comment on something and not read the rest of the posts, Just as quick travel is disabled in some areas this to can be.

  2. That IS what force jump is supposed to mimic though. For balance they added the jet pack jump for PT'S and equivalent to the Vanguard tank tree. Its already in the game really. Its just on a cool down is all.

Its limited to a few advanced classes with the exception of JK and the imp equivalent , My Shadow doesn't have a leap of any sort, nor does sage, Gunslinger, Scoundrel, Commando, and their Imp counterparts (Bar PT), Now for PvP this could get messy so having it disabled in a PvP arena could be an idea, but personally i would like my shadow to be able to stealth jump into the middle of a pack of mobs and unleash hell, i also realise this would minimise the usefulness of the JK force leap, have a longer CD then force leap, leap vertically into the air with only a small amount of control if any, make it useful for height as appose to distance making it impossible for me to stealth leap into a pack, there are ways to do this and make it work.

  3. For god sakes, Fix HM FP bugs, Taral V for example, If you wipe on the last boss the Med Center Respawn is the start of the FP, even then on occasion the door behind the Champion Droid closes allowing 0 access to finish, Another one was the HK-51 H2+ mission, Bugged on my twice today, Once when we approched the first door, the mobs didnt become hostile and the convo was randomly cut short, same again on the 2nd run with the 2nd door (cargo bay), Convo was cut short, door was open, mission still said gain access to cargo bay... simple bugs causing alot of aggro.

    Thanks

  4. Just got to chapter 3 and living it, the idea of taking out the emperors first son and all the sith hiding among the Republic is fascinating, these are key enemies that, unless killed will strike hard and cause massive destruction to Republic forces and outposts, sure JKs killed the emperor but ultimately if we didn't take these sons out that would have been for nothing.
  5. Who cares about immersion. It doesn't break immersion to have fast travel in say Skyrim or Oblivion. All it does is speed up pointless backtracking or let you exit areas quicker without having to fight your way out since all the enemies respawned.

I realise that this is the way MMOs have been doing this for decades, but that's a stupid reason to keep an outdated feature, inertia.

Exactly what is outdated? It's a part of the game that I don't think will ever change and to all the people attacking quick travel (except rpers) I bet you use it to, stop complaining.

  6. I agree, I think the small increase of 10% for each speeder piloting skill is low and slow, traversing from one side of tat to the other takes too much time, as with a wider variety of mounts again I agree, speeder bikes and standing speeders where it looks like your about to have a poo they are mostly generic with different looks, a boga, a walker (like the ones in the clone wars series), the 48 roller wheel bike ect.
  7. I have noticed a lot of people condemning the Consular story and I can't understand why, am I missing something? I personally enjoyed Chapter 1, it's more of a behind the scenes story than, say the jedi knight story
  8. I am dyslexic and have a slow reading speed so I don't always get to read the mission convosations when the person your talking to is speaking in a different language, I think a universal translator would be a good addition for this then I can listen to the person talking English rather than reading half a Convo, alternatively gave it patched through your ships protocol droid.
  9. No not really, Slicing is the only one that will yield a decent profit at mid to high levels, Treasure Hunting does have lockboxes but you dont always get them, sometimes its relics or Schematics, underworld trading is a no for profit unless your farming the high level stuff for selling on the GTN.

I may be wrong on some of these points so forgive me :)

  10. She fights more like what you would expect from a shadow, using a lot of acrobatic moves, saber strikes and such. I think this is what a lot of people were hoping for, me included. My inq moves look like what I would expect. Tons of lighting and dark energy. I would have loved to see some of what Satele did used as character moves and powers. I would have made that my main in a heart beat. Every one wants too look bad *** and epic, even as a humble Jedi.

This post reminded me of how the movies dipict sith and such as complete bas asses and the jedi for the most part all wear the same basic jedi outfit, anyway thats not the point, Force lightning looks way WAY better than the pebble storm ability, on that note these pebbles seem to come out of no where, not even the ground... whats with that :S

they need to change the animation, thats the basic point of most of the posts

  11. Very good idea, I can see that making companions an effective part of solo play but like someone said earlier the trick would be to not buff them to the point of not needing a team for the most part,

What about every 4-5 levels you get 2 skills to choose from for them, for example

For a tank - little damage high threat gen and resilience vs moderate damage, mid threat gen and resilience

DPS - single target damage vs aoe

Healer - this is a tricky one, you don't won't them healing as effectively as a human player but just enough to win the tough solo battles

  12. No. Every 13 year old kid wants to be the cool-bad-boy-with-a-conflicting-personality-on-the-side-of-good. It would get really lame really fast with half the Jedi order being dressed in dark, wielding red sabers and doing lightning, while the other half is already dual wielding yellow lightsabers.

My point is, let's leave at least some resemblance to the Star Wars universe.

I don't think you understand the Star Wars universe, jedi that choose the dark path are known as dark jedi, dark jedi utilise the dark side of the force to project a deadly, concentrated stream of force known as force lighting, for jedi on the dark path utilising this side of the force to learn this skill is completely plausible, so that's my point.
