  1. Hi, i'm a reeeeeally good sorc healer, pretty much unkillable. I laugh at people who try to 1v1 one me. But guess what happens when I come across a good team with 2-3 dps (usually depends on the classes, marauders especially mess me up) who know how to assist and how to burst? I explode in seconds.

Healers are by design inheritely team players. Of course your lone wolf mentality doesn't stand a chance against them. If we can't even keep ourselves alive, we can't do our job.

Oh, and I also play a sniper who drops most healers in seconds (decent geared mercs/troopers are an exception). But that's because they are bad or occupied.

Play smarter. Play better. Use teamwork.

  2. I'm a pure healer. I'm not quite battlemaster yet (but close), however, I have alot of Rakata gear. Being from different tiers, what do you guys think is better - Champion or Rakata? Is the expertise really worth the large stat loss even in this case?

I've been mixing and matching with what I have. I end up with the 2 piece bonuses from both sets as I think they are better than either 4 piece and I am hovering around 8% expertise. Correct me if I'm wrong but 10% is the soft cap, correct?

    Thanks.

  3. Twi'lek's wore hoods in beta and their lekku would clip through holes in the hoods, I thought it looked awesome. Then before live they decided to take away hoods for Twi'lek completely. This bugs me to no end!

Twi'lek used to be my favorite race, now I can't stand to play one. Please revert it back. We would all love for helms not to hide lekku but I understand that takes time. The hoods though, are an easy fix and I just can't comprehend why it was changed to begin with.

    Show us some love!

  4. Unfortunately that's not true.

Operative melee attacks are Tech attacks, which have a base Accuracy of 100% and can't be defended against. Which means any accuracy rating goes to waste since you will hit and there's no dodge/parry chance to reduce.

Only weapon attacks can be dodged/parried, or proc shields, and Operatives have very few of those.

Snipers have far more, and may want to stack some accuracy rating, however.

Accuracy past 100% gives armor penetration.

[Edit] My mistake, it does not. It decreases your target's defense. I still sometimes confuse defense and armor since they are the same thing in some games. Would sure be nice if it did though.

  5. Why they would nerf scoundrels/operatives before sorcerers/sages is absolutely beyond me.

I'm a sniper, easily the squishiest class there is and a scoundrel/ops favorite target, yet I still think they are relatively fine, these changes are overkill.

  6. Rapid Fire (Tier 7 Marksman) is now a passive talent that adds an additional shot to Series of Shots over the channel duration.

This is my favorite part of this thread. I would love to see this.

What about a MM talent that increased our defenses the longer we are in cover, possibly make it 360 degrees in pvp too. While I enter/exit cover all the time in pvp, I think this would help make us less squishy without being tanks and it would require better planning and forethought on where we decide to set up.
