No, I don't feel like I'm paying for beta. I feel like I'm enjoying a young mmo which keeps improving.
*raise shield of negative replies* (imagination is too awesome...)
The MMO newbies are not going to understand what you are saying
-
Best MMO currently out there, so far I am having a blast
-
Just as an FYI
To date, no mmo has ever killed another mmo
It is just something MMO newbies say
-
I had 1 character in their 40's, 2 in their 30's, 2 in their 20s before I had one 50
Does that make me one?

Then I would agree if they cant make the cut then dont mention them. Why tell about something they know will probably not make the cut. Such as ranked warzones. It was to pick up subs thats all.
But they could very well give information on the transfer issues or several other issues thats hindering the game.
They just choose not to. And im sorry if you feel your not mature enough to handle disapoinments or information pertaining to issues at hand.
But that dosnt mean myself or others arn't as well. People have been asking for better communication and more timely fixes since beta and i for one believe its high time they listened.
They can’t say because a lot can happen between now and a week or so between launch
I can handle it, but I am not your average community member here, screaming at the top of their lungs if someone mentions a hope spring and then they start dissecting what the word spring means and then make statements about broken "promises" even though the word promise was never used.
Oh no... this community cannot handle information that is not solid, in fact have demanded that Bioware not say anything at all until everything they say is 100% solid
Which means the community has demanded Bioware say nothing at all, until about a week or so from release of new content or features.
It is a shame really, but that is how It is
Yes people have been asking for more communication, but those same people are demanding no communication at all that is not 100% cast in stone and will not change.

As long as the game is available for the next 3 months, I will keep up my subscription

So i have noticed the dev tracker hasnt had much in the way of updates or posts this week. As well as Stephen and james twitters being dead zones. Whats with the silence i wonder? Maybe they working on something big? Maybe they finishing up transfers?
Or maybe they just dont have any answers or know what to say to the outpoor of people asking for them to step up and get things on track. I dont know either way, But reguardless this is exactly what people mean when they say bioware needs to start communicating more. And letting players know what the hell is going on to fix the wasteland servers, And many other issues/bugs in the game.
This game is good with potential to be great. But some of thier choices and the very low lvl of communication, Along with the population problems and pvp blunders is choking the life out of the game slowly.
It isnt a whine post its not a sky is falling post either. And like it or hate it dosnt change the fact the things i mentioned are very real issues facing and holding the game back. I truley hope the game levels out and becomes what it very well has the potnetial to be.
But untill they wake up realize hideing behind soons, maybes, half truths, And flashy videos isnt going to fix the problems the game faces. As well as keeping the community more informed its only going to get worse rather than better.
Or maybe because the community freaks out if a date range is given for something that moves so they can’t talk about upcoming time frames, and the community freaks out if a project is mentioned that end up not making the cut for the next update so they can’t say anything about plans because the community is not mature enough to handle is, so they just keep fairly quiet as the community demands they do
-
What is strange?
The SWTOR community has clearly said they don’t want anything delayed, hence they are saying they do not want a schedule until it is cast in stone which means about 3 days before it is launched
The SWTOR community will not tolerate hearing about any plan that might change, about any feature that might not make the cut, hence you don’t say anything about plans or features until they are cast in stone, which is about a week before the launch
Bioware is doing exactly what the community demands.

I still have a hard time thinking of someone whose first MMO was WOW to be a vetran
Maybe I am just getting old
-
Easily the best MMO I have played ( which is most of them )
What I like most is how the quests are presented, where I feel like I am a part of the story.
-
Sadly, this is what I expect. Lotta promises (like the one from Jan 4th about being able to use emotes on my speeder) that simply never materialize.
Well so far i believe everything they have said about 1.3 and nothing that you have said.
-
already left game. Time is money i still have subscription but what the point wait ages in queue and when everyone in general says i LEAVING TOO or GOING TO PLAY GW. what the point to stay in tor then...
Yet you are still posting on the forums of a game you dont like or even play
Wal Mart has a sale in ther life department
-
I use a spork with a picture of spock on it. Its my spock spork.
First thing that came to my mind reading your post was "Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock"
-
May is in 4 days. The question is stupid.
We have a winner!
-
I already unsubbed, screw this game.
Yet you are so absorbed in the game that you continue to post in the boards of a game you dont cliam to even play.
-
If 1.3 Isn't Out by May - Will You Unsub?
Of course not, only a child would make a foot stomping self absorbed threat like that
I will unsub when I stop having fun playing the game, so far I am having a blast.
-
( shrug ) I never go for the 2 day option, my stuff generally sells in a single day or less, of course I price it to move
-
I would not say often, but occasionally yes
-
Bioware is forcing me to kill NPC's to complete quests, please remove all NPC's
-
Sandbox MMO's have historically only appealed to a niche market
This game was not aimed at that small of a market.
-
My advice
Keep the CPU, MMO's take up more CPU than other kinds of games do, and if you go with the 2600k you won’t need to upgrade for a long time. You want your PC to handle things long after SWTOR
Memory, it is one of the least expensive things in your computer, don’t settle for less than 8, and if you can afford 16, do it
I would go with the Nivida but that is a personal choice ( shrug ) take that advice with a grain of salt.

4 hours for this seems excessive.
Based on what knowledge of yours at managing an MMO?
-
lmfao really? 4hrs+ just to change some code around, i hope BW doesnt think thats sufficient enough of an answer for the playerbase. I see lots of threads demanding more info.
They have to dumb it down enough for players to have no conception of what it takes to bring a server down install a patch and bring it back up, they have probably given up trying to do explan it to them.
besides the fact that they take advantage of the downtime to do other things that aren’t necessarily in the patch notes

Of course not. Biochem is a credit maker. Some others maybe in short durations, but overall the majority of the professions are a waste of time. I donot even bother with mine on my chars anymore..rather spend the time doing other more fun stuff. I ask you tho..is it good that one profession is such a dominating one over the others? I donot think so.
Depends on what you call a waste of time, I can easily make the claim that all MMO's are a waste of time
I have enjoyed every crafting profession I have had so far, they have all been worthwhile and enjoyable.
But then.... I play this game for .... ( cover your ears ).... enjoyment sake
This is Beyond My Logic, Really!!
