  1. Soo, I did complete all the story missions up to this point, even got the main mission pointing me to pick up "Inflection Point" in my personal starship.

    This would mean I've actually made my own choices throughout all the story missions I finished before.

    So, with this in mind, I was ready to forge ahead, "sure thing, I'm alright with default decisions where none have been made yet" etc. I din't finish all the alerts yet, but that didn't really bother me.

     

    Playing with my LS Jedi Sentinel, there seem to be some inconsistencies anyway.

    I did finish the alert where I get Rusk back, So now there's "Provost Marshal Rusk" in my companions list .... but at the bottom I see "Sergeant Fideltin Rusk" has been added anew ...

    ( C2-N2 ... is there also) which is noticable in the second screenshot.

     

     

    I'd love to have any explenation for this :confused:

     

    I have the exact same problem on my Jedi Sentinel and i find it disturbing (disturbing that you released something that is "broken"). Some people take the companion and story things "seriously", thus you should release a game update after everything is tested and working properly. Also after i started the Inflection Mission, i recall i received two texts with: Torian Cadera has joined you as a companion and another one as well (can't remember which one). The alliance alert with doctor lokin (the one with the rakghoul event) is gone but that doesnt bother me much. What i also noticed is the texts by Arcann are gone (under the companion Interactions).

    Something is very wrong and not working properly.

  2. First i am sorry to bump this topic now but i have a few questions.

    Here is the situation:

    I have on The Progenitor 6 toons with a Jedi Sentinel being my first toon and with which i created the Legacy and it is a legacy lvl 50 now (I also bought a Stronghold with it and the Sent is still the owner, all rooms unlocked all bought with credits).

    I have a level 70 Scoundrel on the T3-M4 without a legacy (boosted toon with 208 gear rating)

    I want to transfer there a Jedi Shadow with some extra gear for him (basically the legacy gear i have from the crates from the Alliance leaders equiped with my rest of the 242 mods/ench/armorings) and some armor sets/relics and such stuff.

    My dilemma now: Will my normal items be bound if i transfer the jedi shadow? Will i be able to transfer the legacy armors from the Alliance crates with the mods and ench in it? I basically put all the items i need on the destination server in inventory and cargo hold. For my 5 other toons that are remaining on my origin server, do i need to empty the legacy cargo hold or will it be unaffected? Same for the stronghold. I am just looking to transfer some items and not grind again on the destination server.

     

    I apologize for my english and hope you understand what i wrote here.

    If anything is unclear let me know.

  3. Just let the bolster as it is. I still remember the times where bolster was at 250 Item Rating and i had full Tier 1 gear and other had blue 208 items and their stats were better LMAO. As i was progressing i got tier 2 gear and he was in blue 208 and still better stats LOL. So NO!

  4. You stated here that you knew her performance first hand and she stated it would not be possible for you to know how she performs on her mara because she doesn't go by Forum name in game, so how could you speak to her experience? That's why I spoke of evidence.

     

    I didn't ask you had you rated me as a Mara, how could you possibly know? heh Unless of course you are on the Shadowlands and know who I am, but I didn't have any reason to think that when I posted.

     

    The most balanced class was not something that I ever said persay, only that I have seen a lot of people reference maras as the most balanced class currently.

     

    As far as rating myself, I don't. People tend to consider me a high performing Marauder [i'm not saying they think im "the best" or anything like that. My 'reputation' is for high DPS, but that's pretty much about it heh, I'm not considered anything special in terms of Objectives.

     

    I don't have much of a stomach for Ranked, 85% of the people who played Ranked are AssO's in my experience, the levels of toxicity isn't something I can ignore and I just end up having it out with people, I'm not real keen on taking shyt from people who are so clearly virgins and uber-dorks who wouldn't even look at a man cross eyed let a lot talk smack one in real life That might just be about bearable if rating actually meant something . With all the win trades/cheats/ and FoTM premades, it;s a pointless endeavor and seeing how some of them play in regular WZs doesn't give rise to my belief that all Ranked players are creme of the crop. I don't consider ranked innately indicative of skill with all the back door BS that goes on behind the scenes.I don't have anything against people who like Ranked, if they're willing to put up with all the BS, more power to em.

    The reason ranked is in the sorry state isn't because of a lack of skill of most players, it's many of the players' [but not all] toxic BS and guys with shlongs you can only see under a microscope we can thank for that.

     

    Anyone can say whatever the hell they want, but that doesn't make it true.

     

    You wanna make it out like Mara's are broken? That's fine. But I see a fair share of maras in PVP who have a hard time breaking 1k. Clearly you think its so easy to do well on a Mara, but I know better. Undoubtedly you have a better understanding the classes than I do, but Mara is all I do. If you are Mara in PVP and you do not have a healer on your team, nothing is going to save you from dieing and often more than once or twice. DCDs are great and all but they're only great when they are active. And given that 2 most important DCDs have 3 minute cool downs [and one of them lasts for 4 seconds], you are going to spend 65-70% of the time of your average length WZ without a DCD active due to cool downs. You are talking about 25 seconds out of 6 minutes that you have an active DCD. You do the math on that one.

     

    When everyone you are fighting has some form of self heals and you do not, if you do not have a healer, you are not surviving long in WZs that are crawling with Mercs and Snipers everywhere you look, being slowed for more than half the time, and focused by everybody with a gun who sees you a block away with your two little glowy sticks and knows full well that if you leave a Mara alone, he will destroy your teammates at an alarming rate.

     

    People don't focus maras because they thing they are an easy kill, they focus them because they kill easily. People are much more concerned about a Mara running around that they are about a DPS sorc or a PT and rightly so.

     

    Try dealing with Engineering snipers plasma probing you every move and blasting your face off from 5 miles away right along with his buddy joe merc while your fighting Johnny the Jugg. They know you can't heal and they know that they can hit you and you can't hit them back at that distance. Johnny the Jugg isnt just gonna let you turn your back on him to see who's blowing his skull away and just let you go after the shooters because he feels bad for you. He's gonna shove his lightsaber right through your back the second you turn away.

     

    I am not saying you can't do well on Maras, but I will say this, the maras that you see who do do really well, has much less to do with the class and is more about a higher skill set. Marauders are one of the hardest classes to play in the game and that's not my opinion, that's concensus. I do well with it because I've been playing the same character for 5 years and even now, even when I do do well, I never find it easy.

     

    If playing Marauders was so easy, if they were broken, you wouldn't be seeing as many Sorcs and Assys and Operatives running around WZs. Maras who do well in PVP earn every point of damage they do the hard way.

     

    You will see maras in WZs but you will see a lot more Assy's, Juggs, Sorcs, Mercs, Operatives and Snipers more often than not.

     

    There's a reason for that.

     

    P.S. Anyone who says Maras are under performing are people confusing individual people with the class. There are good ones and bad ones just like any other class. The good ones are about skill, unlike Mercs.

  5. Ranged DPS out parsing any melee spec is absurd from even a PVE standpoint. It allows average raiders to complete harder content by having an easy mode dps spec.

    stop trying to explain that. ppl just dont understand that (either they are incapable or they just wont admit to something logically)

  6. The intended target is completely reasonable when you consider how ranged DPS like arsenal mercenaries have a higher uptime on DPS than any melee class. It seems people take dummy parses way too seriously for their own good. A "best case" dummy parse is not the actual raid DPS. They almost never take into account that range and melee DPS have different damage uptimes due to mechanic evasion and the limited range of melee attacks.

     

    Whether the heat management of Blazing Bolts needs to be adjustet is a valuable discussion, but taking away the big Heatseeker Missile crits was a long time coming. As someone else said: Other specs lost the ability to crit that high (e.g lost the passives) a long time ago. The only one who still had it were arsenal mercenaries. It's completely reasonable that this goes away.

     

    Utilities will be looked at in a later patch. All these people saying: "BIOWARE! YOU DON'T NERF WHAT NEEDS TO BE NERFED!" can cram it. One thing at a time. If they nerf utilities and damage at the same time, you people would be complaining about sledgehammer approaches.

     

     

     

    When your range spec deals ~30% more burst than the next spec on BiS equipment, outperforms close to any other DPS without even as much as trying to, and is overrepresented in HM and NiM parses to a ridiculous degree, then yes, we need a DPS nerf. 40k Heatseeker Missile crits are unsustainable.

     

    As i can see, this guy is the only guy with a head on his shoulders.

    All that he said is 100% true. So stop whining about DPS being ok as it was outperforming all the other classes in PVP. As a range nonetheless LOL. Be grateful they didn't go even more % down.

    Also i hope they nerf those stupid DCDs as well.

  7. I won't read the 6 pages, but this change is actually equal to nothing. DPS will still be too high. Way too many DCDs still. Only class to crit for 35-40k is merc/commando. No other class does the same. I main a sentinel in allmost BiS gear and a commando heal/DPS in 240/242 gear. Max i crit on sentinel is ~29k and on commando easy 32-36k (Range DPS LOL). This changes won't change nothing. Most ppl at BW seem to love merc/commando class IMO.

    This isn't fair. After so many months and so many ppl complaining (note the complaints topics on the PVP forum) about merc/commando class this is unfair. PVP isn't fun anymore with each match having 3-6 mercs in it.

    Thank you Bioware for not giving a squat about the ppl playing this game.

  8. Concentration all the f cking way. Combat goes as well but conc hits better and has good CC immunity. Watchmann is bullsht if you ask me (played it for 2 years). Everytime i see a sent playing watchman and at the end of a WZ he bangs on his chest like a gorilla for 3mil. dmg (where i did 2.7mil dmg with conc, in civil war) i am just /facepalming.

    3.2m was not enough. a good marauder would pulled 10m dps and would killed everyone!

    Dude, that is dot spread damage, not single target burst damage so G T F O with your whinning and smart @sstalking ;)

    Try another spec and then post again. I can also post screenshots with 4.3million DPS and still it's useless cuz its aoe damage.

    I play both faction and i have been pvping heavy for the last few days and every outcome has been republic win, its gotten so bad i wanting to quit, if i play on a republic toon i win without trying if i play on empire i cant even kill anyone without 6 other players ganging up on a player.

     

    It seems that healing is the issue healers are becoming a huge problem for pvp and i play as one so when i say they need fixing im not just some sore looser who cant handle it.

     

    an easy fight is no fun at all, neither is constant loosing.

    Dude, i play on the progenitor for like 2 years PVP straight, almost every day. Are you foking kiddin' me? It's the one best server for me cause it is very balanced. I mean there are days where only IMPS win or the are days where REP wins or its equally wins/losses. But saying only REP side wins. W T F??!!! Play at least 1 month straight and then do the math. Else stop making QQ topics for nothing.

    i topped the DPS of my team by a lot, and was still second by close against the enemy team. more than 3m DPS, and still one of their healer, alone did 5m+ healing... and of course... NOTHING died...

     

    But the white knights here will say I need to l2p, time my cc, and keep defending broken heals because they play heals. and they know very well healing scales above dps by a lot. the game could be much more balanced and fun if healing was tuned down on pvp we need a debuff by at least 30~50% in order to keep it balanced in PvP. things will die, matches will be quicker, will be more fun, everyone wins. a suggestion i give is debuff the healing for healings at same rate increase their dps in their damaging skills. at least for pvp.

    it is not hard to do, they dont even need to change or mess up with PvE. it is easy to create a buff that works on pvp only. many other games already have similar features.

     

    Doing that much damage on a Mara/Sentinel is easy peasy with the dot spreading spec (watchman for sent, dunno the name for the other on mara). I personally did 4.3million damage in a single Novare Coast WZ with it. But it's f ocking useless spreading that dot damage, better go with concentration spec/combat spec (for sentinel) as it is single target burst damage. But the bads will see people like this, seeing big numbers and "WOW, ill go with the same spec as you next time" (i have personally some guildies that did that xD) and it's useless to try to explain to them why other specs are better for pvp. I personally don't bother anymore to explain to people anything ^^

  12. I've been playing Guild Wars 1 since 2005 and Guild Wars 2 for many years, and I've been doing Overwatch since the beginning. And i play World of Warcraft also. It is not bad if you are not so limited. You can then compare and see the strengths and the weaknesses of the games.

     

    And btw: I've been here since the beta and have the Collectors Editon and you?

    i have been here from the beggining, dont need collectors edition, its enough the digital version.

    I have played other MMORPGs as well. Lineage 2 for 8 years and others for like a few months. But you are comparing differents games. It's logical to have difference between games. it's what makes them fun. If you want the same bullsht over and over again then go play Solitaire, GW 2 or overwatch and stop complaining.

    That goes to other ppl crying for gear disadvantage as well. No one is forcing you to play here, so G T F O :D

  13. I'll probably receive a lot of hate. But some of you guys, are ridiculous !

    Why don't you ask BW to giveaway full 242 to everyone so that you don't need to farm at all? Why do you think the gearing needs to be easy? We even got 250% cxp bonus !!.. I think the changes are good, more components from matches and components from daily and weekly will make a huge difference comparable to what it was.

    And I know that untill now, gsf was the best way to get components, I also got my most components from gsf, but honestly, it's not fair to get more components from content that does NOT require gear AT ALL.

     

    I think these are good changes, thank you !

    But now maybe we'll have some changes that really matters? Like classes maybe?

     

    That's exactly what they want. The crybabies at least.
