I am already playin a lot less, and I agree they should cater to the 99% but I am just curious if they have an answer to my dilema of not being able to fit everything on the hotbars, they have already said they want to add another bar, this would be in fact catering to everyone, not just the 1%.
Good point, yes, that does seem like a very possible, and maybe even simple addition. They are already adding UI editing, so maybe they will add another bar or 2 in 1.2

I think it goes "if you treat Vette like a ***** and can't unlock the ranged DPS buff by completing her story, go level a Smuggler, complete Risha's (a ranged DPS companion) story and unlock the ranged DPS companion buff. Or Knight/Rusk."
It has nothing to do with a single character's companions, but across all of your characters' companions.
I understand, that was my point, I was just pulling on this guy's leg about the names he was throwing out (which were Vette's buff would come from Quinn and vise versa).

You know what, you're being ridiculous. If you don't want to do the creditless unlock requirement, you pay credits. Are you aware that every other MMO does NOT offer a credit bypass for unlock requirements of perks? Not WoW, not RIFT, not EQ2, you name it.

The "healer" companion for the SW is Quinn, and the DPS range is Vette, so what point are you trying to prove again?...

Ok, I have 2 questions
1) I have finished every class story, does this mean that I will be able to use the all heroic moment abilitys on 1 character? in other words I believe I have unlocked 7 heroic abilitys yes? will I have to put 7 new abilitys on my hotbars? because I can tell you now they will not fit. How is this being handled?
2) I am legacy level 50 and have hit the cap, do you intend to raise the cap because its not fun not gettin an xp at all now
You may want to take a break from the game for awhile and let all the "average" players catch up to that status... Like all situations, they may disregard the 1% (such as people in your situation) for the 99% that have not got there

Read the blog again. It only costs credits if you want to bypass the unlock requirement. Otherwise, just level.
O yes, I understand the cost vs. leveling idea, I just don't want to have to make a Rep to unlock the race... I mean come on, I can't turn on the Empire

quinn is a ranged operative type class which means he can dps and heal. may want to learn your classes before you continue to make wide sweeping general comments.

you need to stop assuming so much sport. I did expect more from this game considering how long it took to create it. As did the multitude of people who have quit the game.

Way to fall into your own point, which is quite hypocritical. The game only SEEMED like it took a long time because so many people were waiting for it since the day it was announced. This is not a FPS or sports game, all MMOs take years. It released 3 months ago and you are complaining about lack of end game? Give it some time young one, patients is a virtue -

you know what they say when you AssUme? I took my time with the game and I play on an RP server. nearly all my companions have maxed affection and I tank hard modes and Operations. What I am concerned with is the fact that anything post level 50 is terribly glitchy and buggy and people have lost interest.
Most endgame contents on a freshly released MMO is usually lacking, you are right. So why expect this one to be that much different? If you are that bored, you should role one of the other 8 story lines in the game
They are all different for a reason. And btw, I tank ops as well
, anyone can with the ridiculous healing going on in the game, so you are not so high and mighty -
what its saying is that you get more buffs from your companions if you didnt finish vettes story but you finished quinns you still get the buff.
Quinn is a healer, not a DPS so leveling his affection will not help Vette
And IDK if that is what they are talking about either... They mentioned a Presence buff after having all affections maxed, but they did say something about a character unlock...

because i keep hoping that they are going to actually do something right. I have been waiting for this game since oct 2008 and they just keep disappointing me. I will wait to see if the server populations increase after 1.2, and decide if they continue to get my money.

Were you expecting a SW Galaxies 2? Its a great MMO (as compared to almost all), so I do not see what you (and others who complain about endgame stuff because they space bar mashed to the end) are so disappointed with.I like the 1.2 legacy system, and I hope they make it relatively cheap (1-3 million creds) to buy the other races. Also, for them to include "apprentice" under the legacy tree

Jedi don't reject emotions, its impossible. If that were true, then ever jedi in the movies has failed at being a jedi.

Sith rejoice in their emotions, using them to try to make the force their tool...
Jedi protect life, which is the force, but they do not use the force to its potential by drawing off of it through their own life...
The Sith try and surpass and ultimately destroy life, which ultimately weakens the force, and they also become spoiled by only understanding the force through their emotions...
Both are wrong, and one must understand both sides to fully "control" and "become one" with the force

For 1.2, are the unlocked legacy races only limited to the races you have leveled up to 50, or just till the end of act 1, which is where you originally unlocked the legacy system?
I have a lvl 50 sith PB, but I want to play as the blind class that is only limited to the Republic. So does that mean I have to go lvl a Rep character to 50, just to be able to play that race on the empire side?

Anyone else having issues opening the swtor launcher? When I click on the icon to launch the game, nothing happens, and if I push it again, it says only 1 instance of the game can run at once. If anyone has experienced this issue please let me know how to fix it.

I am glad they said this, instead of spamming "lvl 46 BH DPS lfg *insert thing*" just find a guild, or make a friend your level... Or wait to do it until you hit 50 and just do the heroic version
