I just want to know why Bioware seems to have checked out on the SPAM fight since 3.0. Never used to get spam like I have since 3.0. Spammers are brazingly spamming general chats all over game. Hello, Bioware, do you read the spam reports?

Hey everyone!
Just so you know, we are still looking into the issue and, while I don't have an ETA right now, I will let you know any updates as I get them.

So much for SWTOR during naptime.
-
Any updates? Naptime for the baby and no server online! Hurry up Bioware.
-
Thanks for the snark, did a search beforehand on THORN didn't come up with much. Thanks though for the actual info.

So the Rakghoul even is done for the time being. I went to Alderaan to see if I can get stuff from the rep vendor as i had enough rep chips to max out this week's rep cap...but the shortcut speeder wasn't there...and the vendor and tent in the city were gone.
So no rep vendor when the event isn't going on?

10:30 pacific is 1:30 eastern, so 30 min downtime isn't bad.

Great question. Would be nice if they added more than Cathar, but previous dev comments led me to believe it would be tied to 1.5 timeframe, guess not. Holding off on a couple classes until they hit.
-
They've already stated that class stories will not be continued on Makeb, that companion stories will not continue in the forseeable future, and that Makeb is a major content patch - not an expansion.
I read the opposite as to class story. Do you have a link?

I disagree, Corellia is a breath of fresh air compared to Belsavis. And the devs keep going back to Belsavis (witness 1.5). Wish they would develop the other planets more.

Ilum - While it wasn't the best, at least it was a nice open space for some good open world PvP. But BW decided to completely kill off any reason to go there now and much like the population of the game... it's a barren wasteland. Big mistake that they didn't fix that and do something to make people still come back.
While I'm not into PVP much at all, I was leveling up a new alt this past weekend. It was stark just how empty Coruscant is. And it's not alone. HUGE environments throughout the game. It's great visually, although I bet most players try to rush through it, barely looking at the artwork, because it's so far between mission givers etc. Most planets thus are barren wastelands. BioWare needs to go back and add more density, or flat out shink down areas like the Senate building. I was glad for legacy speeder at level 10, but still vast areas to dash on foot (see Senate building) where its just a big waste of time running far.

Agree with OP. WAY too much revisiting Belsavis BioWare. Diversify the top end content to more planets please! Belsavis was my least favorite planet. Putting area X on Tatooine...soo much better.

Class story additions are SWTOR's only hope. It's obvious more PVP and Operations and Flashpoints aren't drawing in more subscribers.

*****es. ;~;
Here I was thinking they actually had confirmed it when I saw the topic title.
*goes off and cries in the corner*
Same. Necro thread.

Green Jedi Robes!
QFTW!
Also more PANTS for Jedi Consulars please.
Total reach request: Jedi gear modeled after Return of the Jedi Luke Skywalker look.

Solution #1: For every level of legacy you have, you get that % off the cost of account-wide Legacy perks in in-game currency. Level 50? Enjoy having all of those perks and unlocks cost 50% less.
#2: 10 cartel coins per legacy level, every month, if you're subbed. This isn't game-breaking in F2P, it rewards subs and veteran players.
#3: Every time you start a new character, for every 10 levels of legacy, you get to buy one character-specific unlock for free. Keeps those of us at Legacy 50 still rolling new alts.
Totally support this in some form. Think I'm like lvl 44 or so now. Perks should definitely get cheaper the higher the level.

Great, now all the 10 yr old griefers will hang out and deny all they can at HK-51. Lovely news. News keeps getting better and better for this game.

I'd rate it 6 of 10 as well. I've completed Knight, Imperial Agent, Bounty Hunter and Consular. I enjoyed the Knight story by far the best. Agent would rate next...Consular..solid 6. BH was about the same as consular, so so. Trooper/Commando seems the most ugtastic boring to me for my lvl 34 character. Having a hard time advancing. My inquisitor also has an unexciting storyline at lvl 24.

Brown robe jedi here. However, would like to obtain those flashy Corellian green robes...

the companion head slot seem to turn itself on and off at a whim i have had to manually go back and remove helmits from mako temple doc and lokin about 10 times now.
Same for main char. Her head slot shows the helmet despite the option box being checked to hide it.

1. Continue Class Stories
2. Continue Class Stories
3. Continue Class Stories
Agree!!!
1: Continue Class Stores
2: JTL type space
3: Tie legacy cred costs to legacy levels, higher the level, less the cost.

Area Missions - could be handled a bit more like the dynamic events system. More timed vs 1 time completion. Put it on the map if you are in the area...
Haven't dabbled in the WvW stuff to comment really on that.

First let me preface a few things before I get flamed from all directions. I am and have been playing SWTOR since beta. I love Star Wars, miss that other SW mmo pre-NGE. I was never a Guild Wars 1 fan at all. However, as we near a year the game has been in production it is clear there are flaws abound. Not all content that has been released interests everyone. I have 3 level 50 characters with 3 more in shouting range of 50. At this point I'm getting bored. No amount of current class content is going to change the fact I have seen all the planet content from both factions more than once now. (Which means effectively half the story is a grind now.) Given that fact I decided what the heck, I'll try GW2, maybe it was different from the vague game I recall in GW.
Much to my surprise, as a primarily PVE player, GW2 is a pretty cool game. The voice content is a bit primitive compared to SWTOR. However, I came away with some things that I was like I bet BioWare could adapt a little here and there to improve our MMO quality of life dramatically. Those things are as follows:
Lore Objects - In GW2 there are things on the map called Vistas. You go over obstacles, etc and get to see a video clip of the surrounding artwork. Shows off the graphic artists' work, and you get exploration experience. Why not put Lore Objects on the map? It would give those of us who like to explore, places to go when we're tired of other aspects of the game. Of course BioWare could choose to show off it's artists' work and create view points too. But Lore Objects on the map shouldn't be that hard to accomplish. Datacrons could still be hidden. But it would make Lore Objects more organic instead of going out to fan sites and finding out where they are so you can complete codex entries.
Taxis - GW2 has a great travel/warp system. Pay a few coins go to any warp/taxi point you've previously visited. No time restrictions. BioWare was awesome in that they gave us HUGE maps to play with. But the Legacy credit extortion to bring down the travel timer is ridiculous. Why not just take taxi cool down to 5 minutes or less? Big maps are great, but having to travel across them a lot because you used your taxi to shortcut something is a drag, and it doesn't enhance fun factor.
Crafting - GW2 implemented a "collections" capability. Basically anything you harvest can go to a "legacy" resource bank account. Any character you have can access any of the resources any other character on your account has harvested. It also allows you to clear it out of your inventory! Please please please take a look at this. Emailing resources among characters is a pain, and they do take up way too many inventory slots.
MORE PVE CONTENT!! - BioWare, thank you for adding Operations, Flashpoints, and WarZones. However, I suspect I am not alone in that the gear grind in any MMO does not interest me. I'll dabble in all those things, but I would KILL for more PVE class content. My busy schedule doesn't allow me the luxury of finding a good Operations group or flashpoints for hard mode, etc. 9+ months in and no additional class content. The level 50 dailies are exceptionally boring after awhile. We need more PVE content please.
BioWare, thanks for creating the fun universe you have. A lot is on your plate, but some small items (taxis, Lore objects) could be small labor, large return items for gamer quality of life.
Any following posts, please focus on positive changes, not gripes, that could be constructive.
Thanks

You picked it...
Yes I did, but didn't know dashes and apostrophes were options, could have kept my original versus my less than happy second choice.
2x Guild implosion refugee looking for guild
in The Shadowlands
Posted
Hi everyone,
Day 1 vet/subscriber here. My main is a level 65 Jedi Guardian DPS. Plenty of alts Pub and Imp. Looking for a casual guild that welcomes adults, have an interest in RP if any exists on our server. Have a job and family so game play is when I get the time, looking for camaraderie in game as my original guild I started the Rabid Nerfherders expired a long time ago. And recently The Enclave Legacy is inactive due to disinterests of the membership.
Look forward to the replies.
