  1. I'm just throwing this in there...and please correct me if I'm wrong, but Sorcerer whirlwind is the mirror to force lift, correct? If so, why does force lift heal your target (for a lot I might add) and whirlwind does not. Just wondering, in PvP that really sucks.
  2. The creators can't feasibly be surprised that a game from BioWare with STAR WARS and STORY is going to be "popular".

    Here's a good fact:

Had the servers stayed, the issues would have been much less and the queue a lot shorter. Instead, they turned them off until release. That wasn't smart.

Now, the queue is 400. 400!

The only reason I stay on this server is because I met a good guy who is by far better than anyone else I've ever met online and I really enjoy his cordial behavior. Now.. now I have to wait for an hour all because of poor maintenance.

I will admit, server queue's are a pain, and often times frustrating to say the least but understand it is a balancing act between server capacity and a simple over abundance of servers in general. While the former can create queues, the later can be equally frustrating, where the entire server seems like a ghost town, and after a few weeks are forced to combine servers which is also extremely frustrating. I think what you will see over the next several weeks additional servers will come on line, coupled with the max cap being extended for each server, I am sure this will coincide with the natural ebb and flow of gamers coming into the game, and certainly gamers leaving the game, because it's just not for them.

My previous post was certainly not to excuse Bioware, but to be quite honest, this launch really went rather smooth compared to many others I've personally experienced, perfect?, no, better than most, certainly. Hang in there, I promise it will get better...omg, I sound like a Bioware lap dog...

  3. Kalamazoo, locked and loaded.

I was just reminiscing about my days starting off in WoW on Earthen Ring. November 24th, 2005. Never forget.

Will you have my nerd babies!!, that being said, yes, totally agree, not sure if you remember the original Stratholme? That was the original raid, and hard as hell, so few drops, so many mobs.../shakes head...

  4. It's amazing to hear all the QQing about server ques etc... I'm not sure how many folks were part of the early launch of WoW including BC expansion, talk about server ques and server instability...I don't think 1/2 the mmo population would have survived. Not to mention my original server was Thunderhorn, one of the first and oldest servers...ah the good old days, raids called due to the fact people would DC constantly, lag spikes galore... :)
  5. Yeeeah about that.....Thought it would be a brill idea to get a lightup keyboard. And it was. But it lacks a num pad and num lock. I'll have to go in and rebind the keyboard keys to autorun x.x

Going without your gamer tools huh? Brave man. I was just planning my way home so that I can be on as quickly and efficiently as possible. Suggestions for the best gaming dinner?

anything that can be sucked through a straw :p

  6. See, I think that voicechat makes me more productive. I dont want to waste my time standing around in game while I type something out to a friend when i can run and hit a hot key at the same time....usually xD I'm not the queen of multitasking unfortunately.

I love the voicechat because I, personally, can get a better feel for people when they're speaking than typing. My own personality comes across easier as well. The social aspect of the MMO is my favorite thing. The sociology and psychology behind group gameplay is fascinating.

I do, however, realize it's not for everyone. But I welcome you to pop in and voicechat at least sometime. It can add a whole nother super fun layer to the game :) But only because I'm the most super fun person ever. And not even remotely pushy xD

That's a long winded way to say "It's easier to Cyberz" :p J/K
